so i started making a drawing program on anctionscript 3 and my coding skills are extremely basic. i know event listners and variables and children and stuff and i've made some simple projects like the snake game and a very unfinished horrendous version of 2d minecraft.However i want to make so whatever i draw replaces what was in that area before rather than just adding on top because that makes it start to mag after a while. (i can't share the file because it's on my laptop which my mom is using) the only problem being i don't know how to do that. and i also want to know how to store the information so i can make different frames that load that information. please please please tell me how.

Hello, I try to create explanation videos from scratch. Thus, I mainly draw lines and create keyframes that it looks like I would be in the process of drawing. For straight lines and different shades, I use the line tool and form tween. I have multiple questions to speed up the process. 1) Is there a way to film the drawing process and convert it into a tween? It appears very tideous to draw letters and shapes over multiple keyframes and add/delete keyframes to meet the flow of the video without dropping frames per second.2) How can I make a change in multiple keyframes at once? I sometimes run into the problem that I drew a line accidently and I notice it about 100 of keyframes later. If there is something missing, you can cover it with another layer but deleting appears to be an issue to be dealt with in every keyframe seperate.3) Is there a way to determine the path of transformation of form tween? I tried to draw mathematical functions with form tween. Form tween does all

Every time I click the app, it opens up and crashes. I restarted my laptop, but nothing changed. But I do have access to my other Animate files. I can still edit them or make a new file. It just won't take me to the home page.

whatin animate...i cant do anything with it, occasionally theres an animation of a red circle going up and down rlly fast, im only posting abt it bcuz it wont let me use animate, every click i make plays the windows sound when i have another thing i have to close first

I made a game in Animate (HTML5 Canvas) where the user has to locate faults in an electric circuit. There are several fault locations in circuit, but the user will only need to go through 5 randomly selected scenarios. I've got the game working properly and I was able to put it into a SCORM package and get it uploaded as a course on my company's LMS (Gyrus). The problem is that the LMS isn't tracking the user's progress. The user can go through all 5 scenarios, but the course status remains "incomplete" regardless of whether they pass or fail. My boss talked to Gyrus' customer service and they sent him the link below for information on what I'd need to add. I can't make heads or tails of it though. Why are there no video components anymore in Animate 2023 and 2024. I don't see these.

Whenever I make an animation, let's say I wanna predict the timing of something in a song by testing a set group of frames I know may have the start of something that's in the middle of the song. Well, I can't. If I want to hear my audio, I have to go from the very very first frame. Otherwise, no sound. Does anyone know a solution? I run Windows 10, and this isn't with any specific song or animation, this is every song and animation.

I want to export my adobe animate file into a zip bestand. How do i do that?

When I try and open Animate, it shows the little loading symbol on the cursor, then nothing happens. If I check Task Manager, it shows that Animate opens as a background process, instead of a normal application. Restarting my PC doesn't work as I've tried it several times. It's happened earlier this week but went back to normal after i closed it.

all of my animate files on my creative cloud in my mac finder are gone as long as I have my email in my finder I can get it back right?

Does anyone know of a way to navigate between layers in the timeline with keyboard shortcuts? I know the ways to more "horizontally" with "," and "." but would like to be able to navigate "vertically" with the keyboard as well.

With Flash Player discontinued, and AIR becoming less relevant for Animate going forward, I wonder if you'd consider releasing the source code for these components on GitHub under an open source license? To be clear, I'm talking about the AS3 component source code in this directory included with Animate: $(AppConfig)/Component Source/ActionScript 3.0/User Interface I am a long-time ActionScript and Flash developer who started with AS2 and Flash Pro MX 2004 roughly 20 years ago. hello there i made some vectors in order to make buttons later in animate....but when i imported the vectorsthey did not get into the statesof the button...it gets only inside the otherareas of the vector image....it was grouped and expanded in illustrator then imported to animatei want to make an animated button..with a designmore insteresting due to the fact that this is for children...music class for childrenpng works for states, graphics made insideanimade works for states but it does not havecool options like a vector in illustratoranybody help me ?

Can anyone help me? When using animate I tried using the fluid brush tool but it doesn't seem to work when I use my wacom tablet. The tool isn't greyed out so it isn't a GPU issue. I can select the tool and it works when I use the mouse to draw a line. But when I use my Wacom Intuos pro pen it often doesn't work. The cursor is there and moves around but no strokes are made. Or I can make one stroke but nothing after that. 

I've created a dynamic map to add to a company's website, which is Wordpress/Elementor built. They used a third party to create the site. I've been tasked to add the dynamic map to the page.Can anyone help me figure out how to do that, step by painful step?It's been over a decade since I learned HTML and CSS for school... without having to implement it much through the years. This "simple" task feels surprisingly complicated. It could also be because I'm sick and may not be thinking through this clearly. I'd be grateful for any help.

Everything works when i'm finished with mij HTML file. When i watch in preview the link behind the button works en lead to the right page. But, when i publish my file as an HTML file and save it. it doesn't work anymore when i open the saved HTML file. How can i fix this?
