Creating a simple animation using movie clip symbols. Press Command + Return to test movie nothing happens. It was working about 5 minutes ago. Restarted computer, reset preferences, etc....no luck. Any ideas?

For the third time now, attempting to use the gradient fill tool has caused Adobe Animate to shut down. Using the newest version of Animate, I have a 2017 Imac, and OS is Ventura 13.6 Anyone else experiencing this? Any idea why this is happening?

Hi 🙂I'm hoping someone may know of a quick workflow or script that would allow me to have a single banner ad creative, but when I export it would create multiple versions of that creative with different clickthrough URLs? For example, one 300x250 MREC creative - when exported would create versions for:URL 1URL 2URL 3 So we'd end up with 3 exported MREC's, each one with a unique clickthrough URL. Not best practice but for several reasons this is what is required unfortunately! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! We currently use a HTML template for export, so the width, height etc are automatically added into the HTML for Google Ad Manager. Thanks!

I've used animate for more than a year now, and suddenly, my brush started to zoom it's size with stage, no matter if the option is on or off. I have it turned off right now and it still changes the size even if it's deactivated, I took a screenshot, all of the lines are drawn size 8 pix and min 6, zoom with stage option deactivated, and the only thing I changed is the % of zoom on the stage, it's very annoying and right now I have to finish a project before a very tight deadline, help please!

Hello again, sorry to be so needy on this forum but i keep running into problem after problem with my adobe animate cc program. The problem i'm having now is that symbols seem to be mis-aligning themselves after i've already put them into place. For example, I'm using keyframe caddy for mouth animations and had originally moved all the mouths/lower faces into the correct position where they correctly line up with the rest of the face, however after i've finished animating a conversation, I go back to see that some of the mouths are off center so they lines don't connect with the rest of the head like they should.  I once experianced a similar problem when i was using the free transform tool after double clicking the symbol to move it and realized i was changing its set place in relation to other objects so i stopped that and though i had the problem solved. After updating to Mac OS sanoma, and updating Illsutrator to 2024 version, copy and then paste in place in Animate won't work.From Illustrator v. 2023 it work. I try new betta (today 8.11.2023.) and it is not fixed. Also, objects pasted  from Illsutrator to Animate (no metter it is not in same position as it is in Illustrator) now is object with mask, no metter it is simple vector in Illustrator. In version 2023 it remain simple vector object (shape) when pasted in Animate. Those mask make all work more complicated, not to mention big issue with not working paste in place from Ill to An. This is great time wasting issue with us working on animations from clients posterboards created in Illsutrator. Also prewiev animation in browser from Animate, when pressing CMD+Enter stoped working, but I read it is issue with Sanoma. Before, Animate will automaticly open browser (safari or some other), but now prewiev is possible onli when manualy open published HTML5 file. 

Heya, new to working in adobe animate, and i'm trying to, as the title says, make an incremental game with Animate. I'm new and don't know much about coding, so I was asking how to make it so when i push my button (let's say Button1), it starts adding 1 to a points counter infinitely while also removing the button from the scene? i'm in HTML5 Canvas if it helps. thanks in advance!

I've created an animation that uses simple ActionScript - such as a "stop();  and setTimeout()" functions on movie clip symbols to stop the animation but keep the content on the screen without needing to insert hundreds of frames. However, when I export it looks like the file just cuts out on the first frame with script in it. Of course, it makes sense - mp4's don't use ActionScript. I was hoping there was a way to get animate to recognise these functions and export the mp4 with them?(I've also tried importing the swf into after effects, but again it just ignores the script and the clip ends up being 2 seconds long rather than the 10 or so it would be with the script) 

Does the latest version of Animate CC support Thai language copied over from Illustrator?  The glyphs and accents doesn't seems to show on Animate but is showing well on illustrator. I wanted a solution without converting the font to outline.  Thanks.

I am trying to animate a character walking and talking at the same time. I want to make a loop of the head bobbing over and over while they're lip syncing to the audio. I made the head a graphic symbol and tried using tweens, but every time I try to copy and paste the tween over and over, it makes the graphic start all over again. How do I loop the tween without it affecting what is happening inside the graphic?

I've been using Animate for sometime...and recently I noticed that when I upload an audio file and complete the auto lip-sync process, it has been way off...meaning the program places mouth frames even when there is complete silence in the audio. Does anyone have a solution, or have you seen this - Thanks for the assistance.

I'm trying to make a transparent flash effect on one of my frames. I've tried few different things such as merging the layers and colouring then, which has the parts that overlap be less transparent. I have no idea how to get the shape tool to fill in a specific area and it doesn't help that there doesn't seem to be anything on this topic from videos or other posts.

When exporting png sequences, random frames disappear. Also, when an archive with a sequence is transmitted, after opening, random frames disappear. The programs were updated, the ssd disk was replaced. 

ok other adobe apps offer this is their a way to do this for animate cc. i have tons of space on other drives and can add drives....but it seems to want to make all its temporary stoarage on drive c which i don't want to upgrade if i can help it. this mostly affects renddering a video off animate cc when it makes the mov files.
