I just installed Bridge 2025, and it's not wrapping the view of Thumbnails based on the size of the window. All of my thumbnails only display on the first row of the thumbnail view, and I have to scroll to the right to see them all. I've tried switching between Thumbnail View and Grid Lock, but doing that just resets the view magnification of the thumbnails to Maximum, and if I reduce the magnification, it doesn't correct the issue. I looked through Preferences to see if this was a new "feature" that could be changed or controlled, but couldn't find anything.
Suddenly, Adobe Bridge stopped showing me a thumbnail for some of the videos.Last month, Adobe Bridge did show a thumbnail for videos, so I don't understand what suddenly changed.I work with DXV3 I would appreciate help with this frustrating issueThanksShlomit

A few days ago while in Bridge I noticed about half of the thumbnails no longer show the image. Just some kind of default graphic. I noticed in control panel that I got a Bridge update pushed to me 4 days ago, so I assume that is how/when is started. I have tried reinstalling Camera raw as some posts have indicated it could be related to Raw, but that did not fic anything. I am using CR v16x. Is anyone awre of a fix?
Last week Bridge 2024 worked fine. I upgraded to 2025. Now any version I try to use crashes about 2 minutes after I open it.I've cleared preferences and purged cache. I've tried disabling startup scripts.I've uninstalled and installed 3 different v14.x options (and clearing preferences/cache/disabling scripts) all giving the same results. On startup it still shows my same three panels that I use. One is a folder with 6 vector files. It says "6 Items (generating previews)". At some point, I clicked the "Automatically report" checkbox so I'm not sure how to get an error log to post. Since updating to macOS Monterey 12.3.1 Bridge will not read my external hard drive. I can access the drive other ways, just not with Bridge.
Hello, friends!I know many like their light and dark (and super-dark) user Color Theme, but I sorely miss the medium gray interface level. Adobe Bridge used to have this brightness level but now it doesn't, and I find it to be frustrating.Dear readers, maybe you do, too!Love,Bruce
Gostaria que as fotos em raw, já tratadas no Adobe Bridge, pudessem receber um rótulo de cor automaticamente. I would like already processed raw photos in Adobe Bridge to be able to receive a color label automatically. Ex:
Windows 11 23H2 Bridge 14.1.2.300Deleting, Renaming or Moving a keyword in the Keywords Panel still causes Bridge to hang for several minutes. Eventually it comes back to life but the operation executed may or may not have been completed. Successful operation completion is unpredictable.Editing the Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml file using notepad is of course instantaneous and never fails to work.
In Bridge, when I press the space-bar to see the full-res preview, my HEIC images are blur / low-res. I am running 14.1.2.300 on an up to date Win 11, My HEIF extension is correctly installed and all other tools have correct support for HEIC files. What should I do to view HEIC files in full-res in Bridge? Note: I have seen that many people reported the same issues, but could not see any resolution other than "check that your HEIF extension is correctly installed, which it is on my system.
I have an Electron app and I want to have a button that opens a selected folder in bridge.I can open Bridge from the button, but I can't figure out how to tell Bridge to open a specific folder. Is it possible? I am using fairly old version of electron, but since it does open I don't think that is an issue. I feel like there is just a different way to pass in the folder. here is what I have:const openInBridge = (folderPath: string) => { const bridgePath = path.join( 'C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Bridge 2024/Adobe Bridge.exe' ); shell.openExternal(`${bridgePath}`); };I've tried passing in a path after the bridge path, also with -f then the path. Any ideas?
Full screen preview keyboard shortcut (space bar) does not work for Video files in Adobe Bridge. This is true for Beta 15.0.0.393 and Bridge 15.0.0.397. The only way I can initiate full screen preview of video files is to go thorugh the menu.
If I move some RAW files (ARW) to another folder, the corresponding JPGs (same name, other extension) are automatically moved with the RAWs. But not, if the RAW has the DNG extension. I'm using Bridge 15.0.0 - but the bug also appears in Version 14.1.2 (and before?)
I updated Adobe Bridge but the photo file numbers accociated with each image is missing as they are viewed as a group. How do I turn that back on so I know which photo # I am looking at?
I was using the previous version of Bridge today without any problems, however, after updating to the latest version, all the thumbnails look very blurry. I tried changing the thumbnail preview quality options to high quality, but this did not change the quality of the thumbnails. If I use the thumbnail zoom slider and enlarge the thumbnails to a much bigger size, then they display at the correct resolution. Also, when I open Bridge, and the thumbnails load, for a split second they are sharp, but then revert to the blurry quality. 😞 I have attached an image of the blurry thumbnails. Can anyone please advise if this is because I am doing something wrong, or is this yet another Bridge glitch? Update: I deleted the latest version of Bridge and re-installed the previous version, however, I am dismayed to note that the previous version, now, also displays the blurred thumbnails, so I don't know what to make of this. Both Photoshop and Bridge were updat
Hello! After installing Bridge 2023, when opening a folder of images, all thumbnails are pixelated until clicked on individually. In 2022, which I still have, thumbnails are rendered clearly and immediately. Did I change a setting? Is this a bug in 2023? (Windows PC, HP Z5 Workstation, Nvidia quadro T1000, 32GB ram, SSD) Please advise. Would LOVE the thumbnails to render quickly and without having to click on them.
In Bridge CC 2019, the "move" command no longer moves files, it simply copies files. In previous versions, I would right click on a folder, select "Move To...", then select "Choose Folder". This would properly move files from one location to the other (source files in original location would be deleted). Now, that same command just copies the files, leaving the original files in place.According to this pagehttps://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/view-files-bridge.htmlif moving files from one drive to another drive, it will copy instead of move. In previous versions of Bridge it did however actually move. That same page mentions shift-dragging (Windows) or command-dragging (Mac) to initiate the move command between different drives. But what about right-clicking? Is that simply no longer possible?
Hello! After latest update to the Bridge 14.1 on MAC while batch rotating JPEGs, it creates XMP files which are not reading by other applications, and JPEGs placing missoriented. It wastes a lot of time to delete XMPs and manually rotate photos one by one.An interesting point - xmp are not created for all photos, but only for those where I used generative expand or fill.Is it possible to configure the bridge to rotate JPEGs without creating XMPs, as in previous version? Regards, Oleksandr
I use Bridge as my main photo viewer, but when I tried to view my iCloud photos the other day, I noticed that I couldn't open any of them, because they are now all syncing over in .HEIC format. Doesn't Bridge support this format?
I have have a folder of HEIC images I want to convert to JPG. In Bridge I select the image(s) and "export to", then select JPG and set scale to 100%. The original HEIC image is 3024 x 4032. The resulting jpg image is 240 x 320. What is causing this? I'm probably missing something basic here.
Adding keywords to JPG files within Bridge now creates unwanted XMP files for some reason. I want the information to remain within the image file itself like it has in the past. I've reinstalled Bridge and tried on my laptop with same results. Anyone have a solution for this frustrating situation?
Hello,I've recently been experiencing an error in Bridge on my Mac that I've never had before.I always overwrite the metadata of my images in Bridge:Tools>Replace metadata (German translation)Now the metadata is no longer written directly into the JPGs but is displayed as a separate xmp file next to the JPG in the Mac Finder.I useMacMonterey12.7.5M1UltraBridge 2023Bridge 2024in the current version. Thanks in advance
Hi, I'm keywording my JPG files in Bridge. Since I started using Windows 11, XMP files are stored separately, I can see them in Explorer, and in Bridge the number of hidden files is stated. When sending these JPGs to my agency, exif data (keywords) are not exported. It doesn't happen when keywording in Phtoshop, only in Bridge. How can this be changed, how can it be restored to the previous behavior of Bridge? Thank you!
Hello, I have a strange problem in Adobe Bridge (Version 14.1.1.274 on Windows 11) that I cannot seem to fix on my own: - I have a bunch of JPG-images that have been processed in Photoshop, only a few of them have been processed using the "Generative Fill" tool in Photoshop- after finishing, I select all JPG-files , right click on "file info" and append my saved metadata template from the template folder- The metadata goes directly to the IPTC fields within the JPG files, BUT: for the few images that have been processed with "generative fill" in PS, Adobe Bridge keeps generating a XMP sidecar file- When delete the XMP sidecar file and open the affected JPG in Photoshop and add the metadata template there via "File Info", the behaviour is as expected and PS stores the information directly in the JPG (without creating an XMP file). How can I stop Adobe Bridge from creating these XMP files?
