I am running Adobe Bridge version 14.0.1.137 on Windows 10 Enterprise After batch renaming, in the same folder, a list of files sorted by file name, starting with sequence number 1 with up to four digits, I am finding them out of order. I have also tried the move to another folder option. It's a simple task: I scan the pages of a book then batch rename the scanned pages, when I step thru the newly named files I come across pages that are now out of order. For Example, after batch renaming pages 1 thru 15 I now see the pages appearing in the following order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 6, 7, 8, 9 AB does not do this consistently, it is a sporadic problem but it happens more times than not.
I need the ability to name it how i want. give me a warning in the lower left but to not bug me. this is breaking my process flow and i need to use explorer to edit.
It seems office documents can't be previewed in Adobe Bridge. But I think it's a rigid demand for a lot of people. Compared with Bridge, Windows Explorer is so craptastic. Why not Adobe let us preview these documents in Bridge?
Hi, I am developing a custom extension for my own use on a Mac M1 running Sonoma and Bridge 2024 v14.0.1.137. Despite having the correct folder structure and a correct manifest file, I cannot get Bridge to recognise that it exists. I have used the command line to turn on debug mode but it seems to make no difference. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I might be experiencing this issue? ThanksDavid
In Bridge 14, I am looking at a folder containing Photoshop files, TIFF files, Illustrator files, jpgs and PDF.The Photoshop, TIFF and JPGs all show the correct color profile in Bridge.Illustrator and PDF files show the color profile as "untagged"But I know they have the correct tags, based on being able to open them in Illustrator without warning messages about mismatched profiles. And if I, say, open the PDF or Illustrator file in Photoshop, it extracts the correct color profile to do the vector to raster conversion. I've tried reinstalling Bridge. Can ANYONE see a color profile, in Bridge, for Illustrator or PDF files? I've attached an example of what I'm seeing. Thank you.
When trying to view a single file or folder via drag and drop to the Bridge icon the process fails. The dock is only able to show the file when an existing Bridge window is currently open. The buggy behavior as it exists now is for Bridge to ignore the action and sit dormant untill I manually open a bridge window. This is a signifiant hickup in my long standing workflow. M1 MacStudioSonoma 14.1.1Adobe Bridge 14.0.1.137
Hi guys,I am struggling with keeping date and time when exportin from raw to jpg. Basiclly I took photo on my Sony camera - in Adobe Bride i can see all the information but when i export to jpg, even though i have all metadata checked, I see in finder on my mac time and date of when i exported the jpg, not when i took the raw photo. If i go to Picture viewer app - tools - show inspector - exif - The informations are there, but somehow hiden inside of the file - not usable for me. Even if I air drop the jpg to my iphone there is time and date of the export, not the when the photo was taken.I couldnt find help anywhere, what would you recommend to me ?
I have a lot of audio files in wav format and I want to add a genre. In the Metadata panel you can add the genre and most of the time it doesn't save the changes. But it rarely works after several attempts. I've also read that some people say wav. doesn't support tagging metadata, but that's not true. The few files that have actually saved the genre are listed correctly in the Windows file explorer. I can also search for the genre and the files come up. The files are all the same format, so it doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. I also tried older versions. Same problem. Also cleared the cache. Really weird. Any idea why it doesn't work most of the time? Thanks for the help.
Hello, I am trying to export my photos in Adobe Bridge with a custom name and sequence. It's easy to find and do in Lightroom, but I can't find this on Bridge. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Good morning,I've been trying to find a way on how to connect my NAS DS224+ to Bridge when I'm outside my house, meaning I cannot connect to the network itself. I store all my photos on my NAS, which makes moving what I need on Synology Drive (so that Bridge can read it) impossibile. Is there a way I can connect Bridge to my NAS when I'm outside?
Integrating a project management or task system into Adobe Bridge could indeed be a valuable enhancement for production teams. Embedding a tool similar to LeanTime.io within Bridge would facilitate task management directly within the creative workflow. Additionally, incorporating a simple task list, akin to Google Tasks or Microsoft Tasks, that operates alongside the email application could streamline task tracking and project coordination. The idea of version management is also highly beneficial. Having Bridge automatically manage file versions, similar to how I currently name I files (e.g., "2401280921.1 Image edit.psd", "2401280921.2", etc.), would significantly improve workflow efficiency. Each time you save, Bridge could create a new snapshot of the project and store it in a designated "#snap" folder. This feature would allow for easy rollback to previous versions across various Adobe applications like AI (Illustrator), PS (Photoshop), AE (After Effects), and PR (Premiere
I work on a new Mac Studio 2 paired with a Dell P2715Q display. I just finished installing Adobe Bridge, Lightroom and Photoshop, latest version.*I do want to say outright that I am aware that this 'could' be and issue rooted somewhere else. I’m just hoping someone maybe someone here has had the same or similar issue and can offer some/ any guidance. When I fullscreen preview an image in Adobe Bridge it appears blurry (different from how it is viewing everywhere else), then only once I zoom in does it fix and go to its normal state. If I zoom out again it goes back to its blurry/ different state. (Shown in the examples below: Left is just the standard fullscreen preview and the right is once I zoom in) *I know blurry & sharpness is an opinion based topic, but my point is that before I zoom into the image in fullscreen preview it appears incorrectly.- I did wait for all thumbnail & preview generating to be complete before viewing.- I know there are settings for Preview Size, Qua
Hello I have searched and I can't find answers to the following question.I have made inconclusive tests. You are the last alternative.I put you in context, I have a lot of files classified in bridge. And I need to format my computer, which file should I copy to keep all my sorting. From the tests I have done, the cache is independent to the classification information, like stars, colors, collections. In Lightroom it would be the catalog... but here I can't find anything on the subject. Can you help me?
I've suddenly not been able to open HEIC or DNG files from certain folders when using Bridge. I'm getting the following message:"The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no Camara Raw files selected or selected files were read only". The files do open if I drag them from bridge window on PS. And also open from finder using "Open With"I'm on a 2017 iMac running OS 11.7.10 with PS and Bridge 2024. The files were imported from iPhone 14 pro via LightroomI've tried restarting in Safe Mode, and checked that I have full sharing & permissions in the get info window.Would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks
In Bridge, when doing an export of image to image this is possible. It will just save the new image and overwrite the old file name. However, I need to take a number of images and convert them to PDF but also include a footer/headers and retain the original filename for the PDF, if possible, or at least in the metadata so that I can easily match up the original image file with the converted PDF. Is there a way to accomplish any of this in Bridge?
When viewing the same Jpeg image, I do not see the same colours in Bridge (and Camera Raw) as in Windows Explorer. The colours in Windows Explorer are more vibrant.
Hi,I've suddenly come across a problem with Adobe Bridge where it isn't allowing me to open .CR2 files into Camera Raw. When I right click on an image in Bridge, an error message pops up:"Bridge's parent application is not active. Bridge requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature."Originally, I opened Photoshop CS6, then File > Browse in Bridge. I've have opened ACR hundreds of times on this computer so I don't understand why it wants me to open it to be able to use it. I've opened a RAW file from Windows explorer, but when going back to Bridge, the same error occurs.Does anyone know what the problem is here and how to fix it?Running Windows 7, Photoshop CS6 64-bit, ACR 7.1, Bridge CS6 64-bit.Thank you!
I have been searching for an answer to this for several years now. I have tried suggestions but I still can't keep sorting options to date created. I have tried creating a workspace and checked SAVE SORT ORDER AS PART OF THE WORKSPACE! It totally ignores that and always defaults to Filename sort. It use to stay date created if i click that option when i open Bridge now its even worse--- if work in photoshop for a few minutes and come back to Bridge it changes back to sort by Filename. Its like there is a gremlin thats messing with me and constantly is determined to sort by Filename. And WHY is that the default? Who decided this was the best file sort? Im so frustrated with this glitch I could scream. I know such a little issue but years of putting up with this has finally drove me insane!
I have been using Bridge for 5 years and have never seen this issue before. I export from PS using legacy Export As in JPG format to a folder for posting images to Facebook. I have an action in PS so the process never changes and it has worked for over 300 images. Yesterday I exported 3 images from PS and none of the Jpegs are visible via Bridge 14.01.137. They exist in the folder on WIN 10 because I can see them using Explorer. I have the previous version of Bridge (13.05.763) installed and the images ARE visible in there. I have closed Bridge, shut down the PC and fired it up again. Can't find a solution anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this and if so did you solve it?
The Search Bar is not functioning properly when I search for filenames.
My version of Bridge is 3.0.0.464I purchased Photoshop CS4 Extended (Student Edition) in 2009. and my (then) Mac was version 10.3. I have since upgraded the version to 10.13.6.Bridge is now playing up so i would like to uninstall the Photoshop (complete) and reinstall it. I do have the Cd's plus the license key. I am no longer a student. Can I safely uninstall both Photoshop and Bridge and reinstall it from the disks using the same license key?Mac 10.13.6 is the highest version I can go as the later ones do not supprt Photoshop CS4. Thanks
Hi! The image size in spacebar preview has recently become noticeably smaller. Is there a way to set the default view to full screen, aside from using the "+" key? Thanks!Chris.
