Hello everyone, for some time I have a problem with CameraRaw. As soon as I open it my fans start up and the processor goes up to 400/600% occupancy. The GPU is almost never used (about 1%). So Camera slows down incredibly and with each modification on a photo there is a huge latency time which means that I can hardly work anymore. I'm on an Imac 5k 27" i7 32gb / SSD 256gb / Radeon R9 M395. My graphics card is well recognized by Adobe. I don't understand. Help 🙂

This long time Lightroom bug had been a thorn in my side for many years now, but have not seen other posts about it.   I often clone out the color chart out of an image after using it to set WB and Exposure. Sometimes though, just turning clone on/off or updating the spot changes the tone of the entire image!! Does not matter if it's regular clone, heal, or content aware just cloning out the color chart changes the tone of the whole image, this is definitely not how clone is supposed to work!   This seems to be linked to any use of the  Clarity slider, whether it's inside a mask or global, using the clone tool resets anything in lightroom using clarity to 0! Seems to happen more on nearly white images, but is extremely annoying to my work-flow not being able to use clarity and the clone tool simultaneously, and having to make a separate tiff in photoshop just to do a single spot heal on an image.   Please fix this bug, it has been

So, as one community expert said to an unsolved problem, that it was solved and we should make a new post and locked the old one, I am making another, which will again be in vain as there is no way this will be solved, but let's try anyway, shall we? Mac OS 12.5.1, M1 iMacPhotoshop 24.1Camera RAW 15.1.1while trying to use ACR filter on a smart object, it gets stuck with this:Clicking the cancel button on this progress bar dialog does nothing (makes the OS error sound), actions in the Camera Raw dialog dont work as everything is greyed out and this window does not have focus. Tips and suggestions mentioned in previous thread DO NOT WORK and it started happening only a few days ago, on the newest photoshop and camera raw.

Hi, I had a previous post https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/photoshop-crashing-whenever-i-try-to-upload-a-photo-from-the-device/idc-p/13885902#M86575 Sooner or later i found out it's also about Camera Raw. While i try to open jpeg, png doesnt matter. And also i check camera raw filter is also crashing PS. I can't even click Camera Raw settings, it's keep crashing in the second i click. I did a lot of stuff, including changing some PS settings, i uninstall whole creative cloud and reinstall, i install older versions of PS etc. but nothing helps... I'm trying for 2 days to fix this problem and nothing helps. I have to use PS pretty often in next days, so i have fix it asap. Is there anyone can help me? Thank u.

I am not sure what the issue is. I am using the latest version of Camera Raw and my system is up to date. I have 16gb of ram and using Win 10 Pro. The processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 2304 Mhz, 4 Cores(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)I have tried a number of solutions but none of them have worked. Could it be that the Nividia GeForce MX250 just isn't good enough? Or is this a bug? I have had similar issues in the past and then suddenly no more issues (probably after an update).Is it beca

What has happened to linear point curve its missing in ACR v15.3.1.1455, did they discontinued it?In my photoshop i only see parametric curve, not point curve! This is screeenshot from internet in case you now sure what i am talking about.   Edit: never mind found it. 

Hi, photoshop freezes when I open a raw file  

I want to see what settings are used in lens profile for my particular lens. I found .lcp file on my computer that is lens profile correction file from Adobe Lens Profile Creator, however i cannot load it in the software to see the actual settings used. Is there any way to see what degree of adjustments are used in the lens profile?

Apologies for posting this in the Lounge but I'm not sure of the best category otherwise. Please move it as appropriate. I have a Canon EF 70-200L f/4 USM zoom. This is the non-IS original version of the lens. Per Adobe it's supported but I can't find its LCP file anywhere in the free DNG Converter installation on Windows 11. I know where to look -- C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\Canon -- it's just not there. There's one for the IS Mk II version (Canon EF 70-200mm f4L IS II USM) - RAW.lcp) and another apparently specifically for the 5D (Canon EOS 5D Mark II (Canon EF 70-200mm f4L USM) - RAW.lcp), but I shoot a T8i / 850D. The others I found are for the f/2.8 version of the lens. I've tried using the existing profiles but empirically they don't appear to do a very good job, not surprisingly. For example, depending on focal length they both under- and over-correct vignetting. Are there any other legit / legal sources for LCP files? Thanks.

I do not want to convert all of my .ARW (Sony A99 II) to DNG.  Should I set up a seperate folder and copy the files I wish to convert into that and then save the converted files in the same (or another new) folder? 

Yesterday I tried to use the ENHANCE featuire withing Cameras RAW, I've used this many times before without issue but it was a while ago and a few updates have happened since... So my issue is this: When I right click on the image in ACR, I get the option I want for SUPER RESOLUTION (I often use this for lower res drone images shot on .DNG format) to note, I've never had any problems before. However now, when the image is finished, you get a huge purple colour cast all over it, I tried numerous images, all the same. I then tried the same process with a Nikon .NEF RAW file, exactly the same issues again. You can even see it happen on the preview image before you select start. I can't think why this would happen?  I've also tried it in Photoshop Beta, and old copy of Photoshop 2020, and the latest version of PS 2023, all the same, help please guys as I cannot resize any drone images.

I keep pics on external; don't load ALL automatically into LR classic.  Browse, select, open in Camera Raw, re-save in P-shop as the same file number with "A" and as TIFF  BACK into same folder on external with original.  So it sits right next to it when I want to reopen and edit.  Did not know that in Camera Raw, if I hit "done", nstead of "open", or "cancel", it would close and now I can't find the ORIGINAL file on the external.  Just missing.  ??????  I dunno.  Fortunately, I DO have a second backup of this file on laptop.  But what hapenned?  The original files all live on that external drive; now, where is this one?  If I just said "done"...wouldnt it just close the file and not delete it from it's source?  I sure don't get it.  There's also no XMP of this (is this some Fuji thing?).  First time working with RAF.s.   Usually I never even see those xmp files listed; and now, just several show up with the ori

The first step in my photo workflow is converting Fuji .RAF files to DNG, but the latest file types from my new Fuji X-T5 aren't converting correctly in Adobe DNG Converter. The coloring comes out all blue and funky. I'm using the latest version of Adobe DNG Converter, I shoot on a Fuji X-T5, and I badly need to get these files converted to DNG. I assumed it would just take time for Adobe DNG Converter to be able to handle these new RAW file types, but it's been months now. Anyone have a fix, or any insights? Thanks kindly for reading!  

When I open my pictures in Camera Raw and make any kind of adjustment, the picture turns black. Camera Raw 15.3.1, I am on a Mac, 12.5.1. I open pictures into Camera Raw and they turn black if I do anything to the picture. Expected result is for it to act like normal, actual result is the picture turns to black.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, since a few weeks a Nikon D750 NEF takes 20-30 sec to open in Camera Raw.Jpg directly into Photoshop works fine w/o delay.Are there any recommendations how to get it fast again?Thank you! Details:Windows 11 is latest, Photoshop and Camera Raw are latest.Camera Raw adjustments reset- no change.The Camera Raw cache path is set to the SSD M.2, but almost no difference when routed to a really slow Backup HDD.Hardware- not latest, but sufficient for our amateur purpose “up to now”:AMD 3700X, 32GB RAM, SSD M.2, Graphics Nvidia GT740, 1x HD MonitorGraphics driver is latest (03-2023). In General:I am not complaining here about Adobes support strategy although there is a lot to complain from my point of view. I have a Mackbook pro and my Gpu supports metal 3. Photoshop finds the Gpu and uses it but Canera Raw doesn't detect anything and tells me that my system doesn't support Gpu usage and using the AI demonise is no longer an option for me as it tells me I need a Gpu with metal support. I've seen some comments about the tempdusablegpu file being created through a crash and needing to delete it, although from what I've seen it's in the camera raw/Gpu folder that I don't actually have on my system anywhere.

Hello,I have problems with DNG from a Canon R8 with RF 25-50 at 24mm. In opening the file in Photoshop Elements 2023 / Camera Raw 14.4 it opens distorted and with extreme vignetting. I enclosed  a screen shot from Camera Raw. Does anybody have the same problem (and a potential solution) ?Thank youMeinhard

Lorsque je vais dans Préférences Caméra Raw, le paramètre "Performances" est grisé et indique "désactivé".Or Photoshop reconnaît bien le GPU. Quelqu'un peut m'aider ?  Merci

Hello! I want to ask you to offer multiple versions of Camera RAW, as you offer for any other software. I keep getting this notification that my graphic card is too old and soon I will not be able to edit RAW files after a few Camera RAW updates, because of implementation of the AI stuff.I don't need these AI nonsense and I don't want to buy a new laptop just because you are implementing new software updates.It is not fair to users and it is not ethical.You should make software that can be used on reasonable older machines, no matter what updates you make.You should adjust you offer depending on users, not the other way.Please make software versions that can be used even on older machines.Most users just need the basics, not the latest and fashionable software trends.I am a graphic designer and I used the new AI updates just of curiosity and for fun, never for work.Keep it simple and adaptable.Not everyone wants the latest technological breakthroughs.Be reasonable!

Hello! I'm editing some RAW photos and I noticed that Camera Raw opens a bad version of the RAW files. When I open it on windows it first loads like a a thumbnail version, and after a few seconds it loads the fully detailed version. What happens is that Camera Raw seems to load that first version of it, and changing the profile doesn't solve the issue. What am I doing wrong? Below are some screenshots: the first one is the photo before and the second one is the photo after fully loading. The last one is how it appears in Camera Raw.  

Windows: hold the "Alt" button and click on the Rotate button in the tool bar. One is for "flip horizontal" and one is for "flip vertical".MAC: hold the "Opt" button and click on the Rotate button in the tool bar. One is for "flip horizontal" and one is for "flip vertical".Note: This does not work within Photoshop's built-in version of ACR, only in ACR launched from Bridge. There are a few archived posts that say this is not possible in ACR and those answers are wrong. You can flip images in ACR.
