I updated to Camera Raw 13.2 but when I open a raw file (.dng) in Photoshop, it uses Camera Raw 12.4.Any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance 🙂

When I take a pic  (dng)  in Ligtroom Classic and open it in Photoshop it do not open in Camera Raw, although it is a raw file. Earlier I could see the dng-files in Ligthroom now I can only see the cataloglogo and the pic is inn the Icloud ?I want to open the dng file in Ligthroom in the new Photoshop, but it will not open in Camera Raw - just in the edit function ?? When I connect the memorycard to Photoshop it opens in the new Camera Raw modul like it should. Why not from LC  dng ?? Stein Flaten

Hi! Ever since the new update was implemented, the manual-value-input boxes aren't automatically switching to the slider you're currently using anymore. For example: Let's say I slide the exposure slider to -1,30. I then afterwards slide the contrast slider to +17. I now want to manually change the contrast value to 5 instead of 17. I press 5 on my keyboard to change it to 5 instead of 17. Before this update, the contrast would now change to 5. But with the new update, in this instance, Camera Raw would still be stuck on the input-box for exposure, meaning the exposure instead of contrast will be changed to 5. This is heavily disrupting my workflow, as I've e.g. found a quick way to toggle between the default value (0) of a slider and something I've set to is by pressing 0 and CTRL + Z on my keyboard respectively backwards and forwards, while looking at the photo I'm editing. To do the same thing now, I would have to now have to look at the slider, and then double click

Hi! EOS R5 cr3 files are very dark compared to the out of cam jpgs when I open them in Camera Raw. Its seems like about one or two apertures darker. I have to increase the lightning for about one or two stops and then noise appears quite way too heavy in the pictures. Is this a known problem for Adobe or are there ways to fix this issue?Best regards Martin

Hi.I made a lot of creative DCP profiles to many cameras. Now I want to know if is possible to convert to new xmp profile style. Ok, I know I can just convert the settings in to a xmp profile usin ACR but when I do that I need the DCP on the right place (adobe/CameraRAW/ Camera Profiles) to load the xmp correctly. If I try to "rename" using "alt" I can change "applicability" of the xmp profile but it still blocked to camera model or camera profile (DCP) which, in turn, is also blocked to the specific camera model. I only have "Images from all models and formats" if I used adobe Standart profile to create the XMP profile.So... Is there a way to transform my DCP files into this new profile model that I don't need to specify the camera model for?

Just tried to download the new DNG converter from the links provided and this is the error I get. Tried different browsers. No joy. Thoughts??  

Dear all,I'am not able to open a RAW file (from NIKON 7500, meaning .NEF) in CameraRaw from BRIDGE. All softwares have have been properly updated apparently. Thanks for your help.  

When using Photoshop tools, you can choose the color picker’s sample size – point sample, e.g 3x3 average or 5x5 average. I don’t know how to figure out what the sample size is in ACR. Can you show me where to check the sample sample size and change it, please! And how can I check or change the sample size of the eyedropper an Adobe Camera Raw. Thanks a lot!

Hello, Are there any estimates when recently announced Sony Alpha 1 RAW files would be supported by Camera RAW? March, April?

I am unable  to do anything with adobe aero. unable to import a video and the camera option isnt getting selected. on iphone he just records and edits environement. i have android not iphone.can someone helppp me pleeease

I saw that Camera Raw 13.2 came yesterday so I clicked the update in Creative Cloud and all was fine. I then wanted to use the new feature Super resolution (by right clicking in the image) but it didn't work so then I thought I re-install it and found a link with installation file from a Adobe-page that said it was 13.2 but it showed up it was 13.1 :(. ... I discovered this after I installed it.  So now I have 13.1 as a plug-in in PS but when I look in Creative cloud it says I have 13.2.How do I uninstall 13.1 and how do I install 13.2 in Creative cloud?

How is it possible that even in the latest update (13.2) the profile for the CANON RF 70-200MM F4L IS USM is not yet available?

Hello, when I start editing Raws in Camera Raw, I want to set a default whitebalance. So i choose my desired WB and set it as a Raw-Default, choose "Camera Setting" and "override master setting for specific cameras" (since I only use the same Canon RP for everything) and then click on "create default".But the White Balance wont apply for any new Raw i open.Also for some reason I am not able to delete any Raw-Default Profile in the list. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all. Just encountered this issue. I use Bridge and "open in Camera RAW" feature to save multiple JPEGs, with kb limit (100kb). Some of the JPEGs are way below limit and some above, (before the action). So I guessed this feature would only touch the files above specified limit and make them just below limit. But it intereferes with smaller (say 40kb) files also making them 80-90kbs. Is that a bug, or am I missing sth?  I know I could not select the files below the limit for this action. But for convenience it's easier to select all when You do this a lot.

In Photoshop, you can choose the sample size of the color picker — point sample, 3x3 average, 5x5 average, 11x11 average, etc. But I've never seen how to figure out what the sample size is in ACR. Can someone please show me where to check the sample size and change it, if possible? Thank you.

When using the Brush Removal tool in 13.1 the brush size changes incrementally whenever I remove a spot. This might have started happening after several crashes (both Bridge and the Raw Editor crashed). I restarted my Mac, reinstalled the plugin, reinstalled both Photoshop and Bridge, deleted preferences, emptied cache, all to no avail.  The raw editor plugin in Photoshop Filters does not have this issue, so this only applies to opening and editing raw images in the Raw Editor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I only have a few presets (fortunately!) that I have made over the years and they have lived in the correct camera RAW settings folder and either appeared when a new version of camera RAW was launched or I could do a simple import and they would all load. Now with CR 13.1 there seems to be a confusing array of options. You can't load more than one at a time and it often comes in with a slightly different name. I list mine as 00, 01, 02 etc to keep them in a sort order, this has never caused a problem in the past but now some are named 03 when its actually04, I put Ps21 at the end to show thay are used with Photoshop version and it comes in as Ps22. Clicking the waste bin symbol to the side of the preset actually deletes them from the folder, it never used to do that and caused a scary moment when I hadn't backed up my latest set. Anyone else having similar issues and tips to make sense of this. Something very simple now seems extremely complicated.

Hello all!I'm not a proffessional photografer but a surveyor trying to take sharp pictures with my drone. The problem is that when I use the DNG format the pictures are blurrier and smaller than the JPG versions of the same picture. On the other hand the DNG file size is bigger than the JPG's files. This makes me think that the DNG is compressed in some way but I can't figure out how to proceed. I am now only using the JPG format  until I have an idea of what is going on...Thanks/Johan, Sweden.

Latest ACR 12.3 on Win machine is freezing when trying to move crop area while Crop Tool is active. It does not allows me to click inside and reposition selected area. It works only sometimes, random times with problems. I have feeling that I am moving huge stone.

I created a custom lens profile for a Canon EF35mm f/2 lens on a Canon 5D Mark III body. I took shots as described in the users guide at two different focal distances and two different aperture settings. I imported the pics in to the lens profile creator and created the profile with no resulting errors - all seemed to go well. However, when I try to apply this correction to any photo taken with this lens/body combination, nothing at all happens. I searched through the forum and noticed someone had posted a very similar question in 2013, but it was never resolved. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've had my EOS RP for about a month, so I was thrilled to see the 11.2.1 release that supports it.When I browse the Camera Profiles, I don't see any camera matching profiles for the RP. Just to be sure, I checked the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/Camera folder on my Mac, and I see the profile for the EOS R, but nothing for RP.This is my first experience with a new camera that was just recently supported by Adobe. In the past, have camera-matching profiles been made available later? Or can they be downloaded from somewhere?Thanks for the help!
