Hello,i have a little problem with the color markings in Lightroom, Bridge and ACR.In Lightroom there is the option of renaming the colors under "Metadata" - "Color marking set", or there are 2 defaults, the Lightroom standard and the one for the bridge.I chose the "Lightroom Standard" here. The colors have also been adjusted (red, yellow, green, blue & purple) in the bridge under "Preferences" "Labeling and rating".So far everything is fine. In the ACR I did not find any options to adjust the colors there, there is only the Bridge Standard (Selected, Second Choice, Approved, ...)Now to my question, how do I get this adjusted in ACR too? I use Windows 10 Pro version 20H2.Bridge version 11.0.0.83ACR 13.0.2Photoshop 22.0.1Lightroom Classic 10
I'm stumped. I'm trying to create black+white custom profiles from a LUT that I exported from Lightroom (via a 3rd party plugin). Using this new LUT, I'm trying to create a custom profile within ACR. The conversion looks fine, but it's clear that my new profile is still a color profile. Because ACR and Lightroom both distinguish color profiles from monochrome ones, my question is how do I 'tell' my new profile to be monochrome and not color? Bonus points if you can also tell me how to add my copyright and contact info to the profile, too.
Is it possible to switch the crop tool to classic mode (as it was in Ps)?
The sniffer does not make the GPU available on the old ATI Radeon HD 6950 video card (ASUS). Is it possible to fix this without switching to the old version of ACR?
Nikon: Is there still an update 2020 or 2021 for Camera RAW Z 6II and Z 7II.
All was fine and then I tried to open another image from Bridge to Camera Raw and got this: The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no Camera Raw files selected or selected files were read only. I just did the latest update and no help. Anyone have any ideas about this?
Hi, in ACR 13.0.2.644 the zoom tool is not allowing me to click and drag a specific section of the image to enlarge. it only allows 1 step zoom and back to the entire image using mij wacom pen or track pad. I'm not using hardware acceleration as it makes the zoom annoying to me, I dont want to hold the button to zoom in and out by moving the wacompen, I want to click and drag to indicate which part I want to enlarge. Is this not possibe anymore?
Adobe Camera Raw won't download and open?
I am having issues with the 'Radial Filter' in ACR (v12.3.0.493) as well as the Camera RAW Filter within Photoshop as displayed below.Sometimes the issue is non-existent, other times the filter just goes all wonky and does something similar to the below. Thus far, I have been unable to discern any pattern to when it occurs. It would appear to be random. When it does exhibit this behavior, any edits I'm attempting to deploy with the filter are ignored and these oval patterns appear instead. For what it's worth.... - This occurs in Windows 10 on both a laptop and a desktop pc. - It appears to be an issue ONLY with the Radial filer. Neither the Adjustment Brush nor the Gradient filter seem to be impacted. - It also does not occur when I use the Radial Filter in Lightroom Classic. This all started with the most recent update deployed a couple weeks ago.Any suggestions?
Camera Raw updated today and does not work. I need to return to the version installed previously.
I have been trying to group some creative profies that I created in ACR v.13 (on a Mac running Big Sur) as follows: "If you hold down Alt (Option on the Mac) and right click on a profile, you'll get the same context menu as before. Note: You may need to hold down on the right mouse button, as pressing Alt while the context menu is displayed will dismiss it. When you select Rename Profile (while holding down Alt/Option), you'll get a different rename dialog." (The Windows screenshot if from an online demo.) No matter how much I try, I cannot get the "Cluster" textbox to show to allow me to group my profiles. Does anyone know how to do this in the latest version of Camera Raw? Many thank in advance.
Hello everyone ! Do you know if it is possible to access to Camera Raw with Component Object Model (COM) object under Windows ? The idea is to do scripting with Python. Thank you in advance !
Selective edits (K) used to have "+ and -" signs to quickly set parameters for local adjustments. Also, when you clicked a "+ or -" sign in one adjustment, any previous adjustments were "zeroed out".Not only have the "+ and -" signs disappeared (forcing you to type in a value - much slower) BUT any previous adjustment persists unless you manually "zero it out" to continue with further adjustments. Is this progress????Pls advise of new rationale and if I'm just missing something.Thank you
Hi there,While working in camera raw yesterday I accidently hit something on my keyboard and it changed a setting. I can't figure out how to fit it or even what the setting is. It now changes all of my over exposed areas to red while in camera raw. Was thinking to reset everything to default but can't figure that out either.
Hello all. I'm on camera raw and when I use the adjustment brush I cannot erase or create a new one. I press on Erase (or "new") and it automatically jumps back to just "add". Which means I can't erase and I can only have one adjustment brush pin in the image. Help pleaseee

I don't like the way the current version of ACR applies previous settings. As is it is essentially useless to me because it applies EVERYTHING that was altered during the prior ACR use. This includes obscure and image unique things like "Geometry" settings and not quite so obscure "Cropping" settings. I'm currently working my way through hundreds of files created during rephotographing of old 35 mm slides. If "Apply Previous Settings" only applied the things that were set in the "Basic" tab it would be useful and I could make needed adjustments quickly. But every image has a different cropping and I don't want the cropping from the previous image applied (nor any other settings that might have been altered in other tabs). What I'd really like ACR to do is allow the user to specify what controls are included when "Apply Previous Settings" is selected.
I have the latest Lightroom, Photoshop and Camera Raw software installed on my Windows 10 machine which has the latest updates. Lightroom and Photoshop run acceptably fast. Camera Raw is so slow it is unusable. I have fiddled with the preferences for GPU with no difference in running speed. Camera Raw Filter, within Photoshop runs acceptably fast. Any solutions? Windows 10 64-bit AMD FX-6350 six core processor, 8gb ram NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
I just updated photoshop and now when I open a raw image, canera raw shows like this. Black with no names for controls.Any ideas of what that could be?
I bought a Canon R6 which uses .CR3 files, so I had to update to the latest version of Camera Raw. I wish I could go back. It has atleast tripled by editing workflow time! Here are the things that are absolutely wrong with it. I've spoken to Adobe techs about all of these things (some of whom were a lot more informed about the program and proficient than others.)Crop Tool1) The crop tool is now reversed so instead of moving the crop box around you move the photo around. I'm starting to get used to it, but it still sucks. 2) There is no longer a grid overlay on the crop tool. I was tool by and Adobe tech that I could apply the grid to the image, then go into crop (with no grid), eyeball it, and then check the grid. Solid workflow, Adobe.Brushes/Spot Removal Tool1) Brushes no longer retain their settings when switching to a new image. When I'm using 5 or 6 different brushes with various different settings each and I want to use them on multiple images, I have to recreate each one.2)
I am using Camera Raw with Photoshop CC 2018 and am having trouble with viewing the histogram. Here's a picture of the camera raw UI for one of my pictures...Also, if I attempt to resize the camera raw window, my picture above also becomes "garbled" just like the histogram view....Any suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried re-installing the camera-raw 10.5 plugin once, and that did not help. Thanks
In Adobe Camera Raw 13.0.2, installed yesterday, geniuses have placed the Rotate Right/Left icons in some dark closet. After studying Adobe Expert Julieanne Kost's blog with great interest, I find that her ACR updates are based on 12.3 something-or-other, but not 13.0.2. Nevertheless, in her post under "Complete Guide To Shortcuts For Adobe Camera Raw," under the sub-heading: "Crop, Straighten, and Rotate Tools" she states, under bullet point 15: Tap the R key to rotate an image clockwise or use Command + “[“ (Mac) | Control + “[“ (Win)Tap the L key to rotate counter clockwise or use Command + “]” (Mac) | Control + “]” (Win). Italics mine. I find this does not work. Could someone tell me if there is another solution or keyboard shortcut which activates the Rotate Tool? Thank you

When I open an image in photoshop by right clicking and open with photoshop, camera raw pops up and you can make adjustments before it is opened in Photoshop. From this screen I CAN apply a camera color profile. If I open the image in photoshop and then later go to filters > Camera Raw Filter, then there are no options to apply camera color profiles.I have attached 2 screenshots for reference.
