Can you play a video clip (8sec) on a quiz slide?

I have just tested this and it will play when you review "the last 5 slides" or "In a Browser". But when you publish it, it will not play the video clip on the quiz slide from my hard drive or from our LMS.

I have tried the FLV and MP4 formats, no luck.

I am on Cap 9

The video is set at:   Auto Play, Auto Rewind and Loop

I am on a Multiple Choice slide.

Context:  Showing a 8 sec video of a railroad worker who is a Flagger, they stop trains from entering a work zone. The video shows a certain Flag command and they must select the right Flagger command from the list of choices.

    Correct answer garyhi

The master slide is clear where the video is placed on the slide.

As far as the rest I am not understanding - "Did you insert the video in the package, while keeping the hierarchy (path to video)?" I do not know Cap at this level. Can you explain more?

I found the problem. I ran into this a while back. I have been using Chrome and there seems to be a bug between Cap and Chrome when playing Cap with videos from published files. I worked with a Adobe person about 4 months ago and they dup'ed it and logged it as a bug.

I deleted my cookies and then used IE and it plays great. Thank you for your kind help!!!

How did you insert the video: as event video or multisynchronized video?

I was inserted as an event video.

You probably know that all embedded objects on a quiz slide do have priority in the stack. Did you edit the underlying master slide to have room for the video? Did you insert the video in the package, while keeping the hierarchy (path to video)?
