Delay in responding to incorrect clicks in Assessed part of video
Hi - hope somebody can help me with this issue as it drives me (and the people who use the e-learning package's we have created with Captivate) CRAZY!
Basically, we have a series of captivates where we have a demo video, followed by a training video where the user interacts with the video but isn't assessed, followed by the same video but with assessment clicks built in.
My issue applies to the assessment video ONLY - when a learner clicks in the wrong place a caption appears pointing to where they should have clicked (as it does in the preceding training (non-assessed) video). However in the ASSESSED video only there is a noticeable delay before the users actual mouse click does anything - this may only be a second but it is really frustrating as they all build up when someone keeps clicking in the wrong place and especially so when this doesn't happen in the training video)
So for example, the user has to click in Checkbox A but they incorrectly click in checkbox B. A caption will then appear pointing to checkbox A saying e.g. "click in this box". If the user then clicks in checkbox A there is a delay when nothing happens (about 1 second) before the video responds to the click
I am hoping that this is a simple setting somewhere that I can change but my colleagues and I can't find it if it is
We use Captivate 8 but have used older versions and still have the same problem
Thanks in anticipation of any suggestions
Martin
