Question

I can not open any recent projects in Captivate. Every time I open it, it asks me to start a new project or says it is not there. Can someone help me out?

When I open my captivate, to try and open any recent projects I did. It will not let me open the file. It just brings me to a blank page or is asking me what new project I want to start. Why is it doing this? When I saved the project it would only go to 50% and the application wouldn't respond, then I had to restart my computer, but the project still saved and now I can't open it. There is no recent projects or anything showing up on the computer. I have a MAC computer. Please help.

Try the usual troubleshooting tips:

  • Clear Preferences, using the appropriate file in the subfolder 'utils' of the installation folder of Captivate
  • Clear the cache, which is possible from the Welcome screen of Captivate, because the Preferences dialog box is accessible without opening a file.

If this is not helping: did you update something recently?
