My project appears different after I publish it. I have attached screenshots. I realized that my filmstrip is not also not being updated when I make changes to my slides. How can I fix this. Please and thank you for the help!

Having a nightmare - I have a button set in the timeline to appear after 116 seconds, but it doesn't appear. If I play the timeline in the project window, the button appears as it should, but when I preview the module it doesn't appear and if I publish the module it also doesn't appear. Without it, users cannot advance! I have another module that as far as I can tell is set up exactly the same and it works. Help!!!

Can I transfer my license for Captivate 2019 to another person?

In Adobe Captivate 2019, how can I publish the two video tracks into two separate videos one for webcam and another for screen recording. Right now if I publish (export), it produces only one video. I need to further edit and add after effects. Unfortunately, Adobe Captivate 2019 does not link from within cpt* to Premiere Pro or After Effects in a manner similar to other Adobe cloud software. Also, Captivate file is not editable in Premiere Pro or After Effects. How can I keep the cptx file with its two video tracks? or export the two video tracks.

I am trying to execute a script (non-Java) and the conditional syntax is tripping me up. I have a button with multiple conditional tabs that I want to play based on the status of a user variable. The Only thing I place in the Conditional tab is an IF for that variable.  The THEN section is all my actions, ending with assigning a new status to my variable. My problem is that no matter what I do, the only tab that runs is the second tab.  All 5 tabs function individually, but only when they are placed in the second slot SEE EDIT BELOW, and regardless of the status of my variable. I suspect that is has something to do with the lack of an ELSE statement, but the only ones that seem applicable are "continue" and "pause", and I have tried both of those without success. The variable is a simple integer that is applied based on which of four buttons on the screen is clicked. I'm trying to use some fonts, and this one giving this error, and reinstalling the fonts, updating or adobe photoshop and continuing to give the same error message.Some fonts used in this document are missing, you can activate matching fonts from adobe fonts , or replace missing fonts with a default or different font used in this document

In Adobe Presenter Video Express, anytime I click on the 'Both' layout button, I get a popup error message that says "Application encountered an internal error".  Everything else seems to be working fine.  Any ideas how to resolve this?  Using PowerPoint 2010, 32 bit on a Windows 7 machine.

I am using Captivate 2017 (build 10.0.0.192) yes i know this is the old build version but my IT guys say there isnt any newer approved and they wont investigate/update.When I use Knowledge  check drop down questions (either Match or Sequence), the published course in our LMS occassionally makes the drop down options 'images' have the black 'x' box.  These slides have been setup to allow the user to click back and forth to review the relevant information, and I'm wondering if possibly this is occuring because they are going back and forth? I've tried opening this course in IE 11, Microsoft Edge, it is doing it in both.. I thought i had read somewhere that it was the font size - so have reduced it to size '20' which is lower than what the template had when i simply selected knowledge check match, option. I dont want to make the font size lower than that... and starting to evaluate the amount of time investment in trying to resolve this problem versus just making it a multi

Hello - I am using Captivate 2019 v11.5.1.499 I have scrolling text Learning Interactions on some of my pages; however, they are only showing up when I test in Edge. When I test in Chrome, there's just a blank spot where the scroll window should be. I also have a teammate who is working on a Mac, and it doesn't show up for her in Edge OR Chrome.  Anybody else have this issue, know why it might be caused, and/or have a workaround? Thanks!

Yesterday, I was able to access slides, charactors, icons, etc. from the asset library.  Today, no assets are showing in the library.  Does anyone know why this happened and how to fix it?

Captivate 2019  11.5.1.499The submit button is active at the beginning of play and clicking it before done will advance to the next slide - before any or all drags are in place. I'm using bounce back. How to make the submit button inactive until all drags are in place?

I have uploaded my course to my LMS and while testing it when I fail the course it seems to get stuck in resume on the main page and inprogress in the user list view. I dont know if I missed something in my settings. I have the quiz set for 1 attempt, and the exit button set to exit in the last slide.  I appreciate your input! I have attached my screen shots of what I am getting and my settings.       

I am using Captivate 9, and publishing to SucessFactor LMS.I have created a course with a quiz that allows 3 attempts. Publishing using SCORM 1.2. When I am giving  3 attempts at a stretch, the same is getting captured in LMS and true results are getting displayed but when I fail on the first attempt and then close the assessment browser, the entire assessment is moving to completed status. It does not allow to retake the assessment any furtherI am wondering if this might be due to a Captivate setting -- I do not have it sending data after every slide. Does anyone know if that would make the difference?

Good afternoon, I am building a course in Captivate and three sections of this course include PDF's that are 60-100 pages each. To insert the PDF I used a Web Object and linked it back the file on my laptop. The layout looks how I want it to look but now I would like to setup the "Continue" button to only display after the learner has viewed the entire PDF. Is there anyway of setting up an advanced action that would show the "continue" button after the learner has viewed the entire PDF? My only other idea is to adjust the timing of the continue button so that it only appears after a given amount of time but just trying to make sure I'm not missing a possible function that could automate this step during the course. Thank You!

When the user clicks the plus button, the slider0 and corresponding text should be shown and the same continues.When the user clicks the minus button, the position of the slider should decrease and the correspoding text should be shown.I attached the sample image below. Kindly clarify. Hi all. I am currently using Captivate to produce a standalone .exe assessment and learning tool for my organisation which will allow my staff to inspect a sea going vessel. The tool prompts the user to take photographs of various documents and items. They then have to fill out a seperate word document with the required information and then email that over to our marine operations department. What I would like to is integrate the whole process. For example... Individual takes photograph of a fire extinguisher certificate.Uploads it into the assessment tool fire extinguisher section and carrys on with the rest of the inspectionAt the end they simply hit compile report and a report in the require format and layout is produced and they can then email this to our marine operations team.  Is this possible within Captivate? thank you in advance Kind regardsBryan

After publishing the file in HTML, I'm unable to view the highlighted box in HTML output. I used Google Chrome to view the output.Please let me know how can I fix the issue. Thank you,Lisija

A course I've been working on for the past couple of weeks suddenly had a problem today when I tried closing Captivate.  I had already saved the file, but received an error message and followed the instructions to recover the Cache folder, but when Captivate tries to open it, after several seconds, it just closes.  Can anyone assist?  Also, my backup file is unavailable as well.  I get the same message trying to open it as well.  

I have created a project with narration on most slides and added background music. I can get the background music at the volume I want during the narration on each slide but when the narration stops, the background music level increases. How do I get the music level to be consistent across all slides? I'm in Captivate 2019

Fix that. Can't use the elearning-assests download  because no one can say if it'll break the Assets panel again. Then characters won't download. Fix that. Then .svgs won't select. STILL haven't fixed that. NOW the voices/speech agents won't show up?? (and all the money I spent to get certified in this?! (facepalm))

I am wondering how hard can it be to add an "Autosave" option?Or, what kind of problems this option caused before you decided to remove it?Or, is it that hard to add a decent "Autorecover" method, so when the program crashes, you won't have to deal with the stupid cashed projects recovery method?I have created a new project, and I added few slides, and for about an hour before Captivate 2019 crashed when I tried to add a symbol to a text. So, I have lost one hour. Then I have lost few minutes trying to remember and find how to do use the cashed projects to recover my work, which is a process when you have to guess which one of the cashed projects is the one you have been working on, since there is clear names for the folders. Then when I remembered what are the folders and the files I need to compress before I change the type of the archived file to ".cptx", I was unable to open that file because I forgot that I have to compress the files into a "zip" file type not "rar". And
