Anyone know how to add font awesome icons to captivate 7 presentations?

Release version 10.0.1.285I found a issue with Captivate 2017 (10.0.1.285). After I rescale my project to a larger size while keeping the objects in the project the same size.I select Top Center for Position Project.When publishing to HTML 5 the FullMotion slides when played gets resized. The video gets squeezed to a smaller width, not matching the width of the other slides.It does this only in HTML 5 not in SWF. I believe this is a bug with Captivate 2017 (10.0.1.285). It was not doing this in the prior update. Could you please verify?Thanks,

We are rolling out Closed Captioning using Adobe 2019. However, when apostrophes and ampersands are used, the Closed Captioning converts these characters into an "a" with an accent mark over it. Our possessives and contractions now look like they are misspelled. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Is there a way to insert a table (with the ability to add text) in a Captivate project?  Thank you.

Hey there!I'm quite new to the Captivate Community, and I've been working on a project. After a while Captivate 9 started to do funny things, which I could always solve with clearing Program Preferences, or the Application Cashe, worst case scenario with rebooting my notebook. Now every time I want to add a question slide to any project, it keeps crashing without even an error message. These are the things I already checked and modified: Cleared Prog. Preferences, cleared App Cashe, set to always run as Administrator, checked how much RAM I have (8 GB), and I tried to reboot a couple of times...  Do you have any ideas how to solve this issue?Thank you!!

This is primarily for people who are Dyslexic. Is there a way to prevent the "submit" button on quiz slides from appearing until a learner has selected an answer?

Hey Captivate Community. I am building a drag n drop but run into the same issue.I want to build a drag n drop exercise where:- you drag elements into an area that contains more than one dragged element eventually- your dragged elements snap back when not dropped into correct target- you advance to the next slide once, and only when, you dropped each element correctly.- a feedback text (consisting of grouped objects, one textfield and one button) for each drag-element is shown after you drop that element correctly.- Therefore I assigned an object action that shows that feedback text (group)So far so good. What causes troubles is the last feature:- Once you click the button inside that feedback group, however, instead of hiding the feedback text (what it is supposed to do), it advances to the next slide even though the exercise is not finished yet. I double checked: the button triggers the action "hide" (Feedback group).I'm sure it's just a detail but I can not find it.Thanks in adavanc

I've been using Captivate 2018 and 2019 for over a year now. Our company develops software, and we have a critical need to move our old ILT to scalable, self-paced e-learning as fast as possible. I was a software developer before moving into training and instructional design 12 years ago. I work in a distributed team of 7 people spread across North America. And we use Agile development techniques, which means we're not strictly one person working on one Captivate project. Lastly, our company uses Macs, so we us Captivate on macOS.We also use Lucidchart.  A lot.I've ground my teeth at how bad Captivate is on macOS. Hello,Perhaps someone has experienced this weird issue in the Library Panel and can offer advice?  The Library Panel display the Date Modified information in Spanish. The other columns of information (Name, Size, etc.) are in English. Weird, eh?How can I change the Library Panel to display all information in English? Building for a 508 requirement that uses IE and JAWS 14 on a Windows 7 machine using the Captivate 7.01.237 version. I'll state out front that we made 508 accessible pdfs that were given extremely high marks by our mobility and sight impaired user groups, but are not considered other than "ancillary" accessibility by the government tester (not sure why) Currently running into this laundry list when testing to the SCORM Cloud and applying JAWS:JAWS reads the variable script in a text box instead of the output (example reads: "$$cpInfoCurrentSlide$$ of $$rdinfoSlideCount$$" instead of "1 of 2" and reads "$$cpInfoProjectName$$$$cpInfoDescription$$" rather than "Lesson1 - JAWS is Evil")If a button has three states (selected, rollover, and not selected) JAWS reads this as three buttons, and two don't have name, role, and state information.JAWS won't read the feedback boxes on any question slide, period.If you set up an action to reveal information after the user makes a choice by selecting

Hi, I am having problems seeing the origin of this problem. I have x2 smartshapes set to be buttons. On the inbuilt "down" state, the button "presses in" and becomes smaller by a few pixels upon being clicked. I cannot see a way to correct this. I do not want this, I want the down state being the same size as the hover state. Thanks for any suggestions. When I preview my course in Adobe Captivate all of my navigation tools are all together on the bottom left corner.  When I publish to DigitalChalk LMS, they space across the entire bottom of the slide. See image below. Can you tell me why my navigation buttons distort?  I spoke with my LMS provider and they said it was due to formatting when published in Captivate 2017 and that I should talk to someone at Adobe.

Hi Guys,Just a question if I may...With the latest version of captivate, is it still possible to do a couple of slides each with a multiple choice question that does not go to a final score for SCORM tracking purposes that just show if you are right or wrong as a simple test before the Main Assessment. These 2 slides would not have a "Results" screen.Then I would have the Main Assessment that has questions drawn randomly from a pool of questions. This does have a Results screen and the score is scorm tracked with the results showing in the administration section of any LMSHow would I go about this?Is there any tutorials out there that show how this can be done as I have looked to no avail or a useful example that I can download?Thanks in advance!Cheers!

I can't get Captivate 2019 text-to-speech to play the Microsoft Zira voice. Here's what I've tried:Verified that Zira is my default Windows 10 voice.Verified that I've chosen Zira in Captivate.Rebooted my machine.Cleared my Captivate preferences as suggested in this older post: CP9: Microsoft "Text to Speech" - only David is working Does anyone have other suggestions for getting Zira to work in CP2019?Thanks!Kathryn

I can run Captivate 9 as a standard user on Windows 7 with no issues.When I run Captivate 9 as a standard user on Windows 10, MSVCR100.dll faults and closes the program.  I can, however, run as an admin and everything is fine.Has anyone run into this or figured out how to run Captivate 9 as a standard user on Windows 10?Thank you.

Can Captivate 2019 upload directly as a SCORM package into an LMS platform without publishing on my computer first? I thought I saw something about this, but now I cannot find any reference to it. If this is now possible, how does that work?

I order creative cloud first but then I saw Captivate without knowing if it would be available in CC.I still don't what will be the right choice.Can someone help me decide?Thanks

When I publish, the video in the TOC is off-center to the left. See image. It's fine when I Preview. This is in HTML5 , which is how the client needs it delivered. I've had it happen before on all other projects in Captivate 9, but clients didn't mind. This client does.

I am localizing a project to Spanish. I changed all the TOC content, but how can I change the actual words Table of Content to Tabla de contenido as well as slide title to Título de la diapositiva?

Just noticed a major issue. I think others have had this problem but I've seen no solution.Last year I successfully completed a series of Learning Modules that were deployed on Moodle. They were built in Captivate 2017 and they worked great on iOS. They incorporated a lot of MP4 videos.This year I was hired to do another series of modules and upgraded to Captivate 2019 and I followed the exact same system to build them. Everything seemed to work just fine but after all of the work was done I realized the videos do not play on iOS devices. Something happened with the 2019 release that made it so videos don't play on iOS devices. Big problem!Has anyone else had this problem and are there any solutions? My 2017 Modules still work fine so it has to be a 2019 publishing setting.Thanks for any help or advice.

I'm getting some odd results with the score being reported to my LMS and am hoping for some help.If you have a Multi-SCORM package with a scoreable quiz in more than one SCO, does Captivate report all of the results combined together?Without going too deep into what I'm doing and why it's set up this way, I have two SCOs with quiz slides.  In both SCOs I registered a 100%, but the package reported a score of 99.51% to my LMS.  Now, it's absolutely possible that this is an LMS problem (can't say what we use, but it's junk), and the score doesn't matter to my organization anyway...only complete/incomplete.  But, I'm wondering what's up.Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.v/rJay

I'm an instructional designer working on a former colleague's course build in Adobe Captivate 9 Version 9.0.2.437. She has added knowledge checks throughout her course but never provided the answers to the knowledge checks in her storyboard. These are knowledge checks (not quiz questions). I've combed the forums and FAQs (even YouTube) for an answer to this question and have come up empty:Is there any way at all, to view (and/or edit) the answers to the knowledge check questions in Adobe Captivate 9? I don't want to change the properties of the questions, I just want to view correct answers.Thank you,Linda
