Hello to all,I just installed coldfusion 2016 and MAMP PRO, created links with the wsconfig utility to point to the web server.I noticed 2 problems:When coldfusion does start and stop does not end the mamp webserver but ends or starts osx webserve in the / etc / system folder.The web server (httpd and apachectl) is in Application -> MAMP -> Library -> bin.The configuration files are in / Library / Application Support / appsolute / MAMP PRO / conf /Using update-connectors.sh in the terminal appears a message that does not find the folder. And of course the MAMP PRO connector does not work.Configuring MAMP works, but I need to have virtual hosts.I hope you can help me.

Is there any way to load multiple cfdiv in a sequential order. For example in my page top half is coming from some cfdiv and bottom half is coming from another cfdiv. The problem is the second div loads first and then the first cfdiv is loaded. This causes the page to jerk like collapse and expand. One of the solution I have is javascript delay. But is there any other way???Your time & help is really appreciated.Sathya

I have several CF2016 instances on a server and each instance seems to take several minutes to start. Sometimes the instance seems to have started and then I see that it is not running nor starting in Services.I have ~270 datasources on each instance and sometimes during a failed startup I see timeout errors for datasources in the log.

I have a question regarding the ColdFusion 2016 Systems Support Matrix. In particular under Database platform support for MySQL it lists 5.7. What does that mean exactly? Up to and including 5.7, only 5.7, 5.7 and newer or what? Thanks,Mike Oatsvall

I am a novice when it comes to CF.  Our company uses CF16.   I am copying existing code from one our other websites, however nobody is around that worked on it so there is nobody to ask.The code displays a hidden <td> holder called "help_field_1new".  This is used for entering new help information.  When a button is pressed to add a new record the program updates the innerHTML to a textarea field  (code = (document.getElementById(help_field_1new).innerHTML = "<textarea name='help_field_1_textnew cols='70' rows='3' onKeyUp='validateLen(event,this,2000);' onPaste='return validateLen(event,this,2000); return validEntry(event);' onDrop='return validateLen(event,this,2000); return validEntry(event);'>"+document.getElementById(help_field_1new).innerHTML+"</textarea>")The problem is that I can't figure out how to retrieve the actual value that is entered....I've tried document.getElementById, but all I get is the actual HTML.Advice?Thanks.

Hello, I just installed CF Builder 2016 and the features are fantastic. There is one vital feature that I'm not sure how to enable. Whenever a file is locked by another user in our source control software my old IDE would warn me that it was locked and would not let me edit it. CF Builder 2016 does not do that. It will let me open and modify the file even though it's locked by someone else. Is there a setting that I can change so that it will not open locked files in source control? I'm on Windows 10. This is quite an important aspect of software development so I'm sure it has been addressed somehow. I just don't know where to look to enable that feature. I'm aware that it's eclipse based and a version control plugin might be needed to check files in and out but I'm just looking to block a user (me) when someone else has a file checked out. Can that be accomplished with a setting or is a plugin required?  We use Serena - PCVS Version Manager (8.4.6.0)

Hello,With coldfusion 11 enterprise edition , we could modify the value of following timeout (under « Server settings/ Request Tuning » ):      "the timeout request witing in queue after ... second".I can access to this timeout with the coldfusion 16 developer edition.With coldfusion 16 standard edition, we can not access to this timeout with the IHM anymore, but the access can be done by the following file "cfusion/lib/neo-runtime.xml".Could you please tell me if the modification of the neo-rutim.xml file will be took account with all coldfusion 16 edition or there are some restriction with the standard edition ?Thanks in advance for your answer.Audrey.

Found a minor issue with running 2016 Enterprise (update 5) on 2016 Win Server, versus 2016 Dev (update 5) on Win 10.the cfif construct <cfif variable is "something"> or <cfif variable is not "something"> while was working in Dev 2016 fine, and earlier editions of CF, does not function on CF 2016 Enterprise.Workaround was to convert the Is and is not to EQ and NEQ.Not sure why there is a difference between the two platforms, but posting it as an awareness. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Dear,I am using coldfusion8.And when trying to connect to a sql server data source which need to provide a servername. I had provided one domain name.But cfusion said that the IP cannot be established the connection.I guess cfusion has parsed the domain name to IP and using IP to connect.That will not be allowed by the sql server data source.How should I configure to make cfusion accept a domain name without paring it?Thanks.

Hello, I have been using a Dynamic Dependent PHP Drop Down Box extension for the last 2 years .I have just updated my web site to PHP7 mysqli and I cannot get it to work as it will only accept mysql. Any one got any ideas as to  how I can get it working Any updates for this extension, Help appreciated

I have a CFC that works fine. I can access it directly and get data etc. I even have it working find on another server with the same datasource. I am binding the cfc to a cfselect like so.<cfform><cfselect name="category" bind="cfc:cfc.GetCategory.getCategory()" bindonload="true"></cfselect></cfform>My cfc is located in a directory name cfc. The name is GetCategory.cfc and the method is getCategory. I an access it fine by goign to the URL as so.http://siteurl/cfc/GetCategory.cfc?method=getCategoryIt displays the data fine.However when I try to look at the page the cfselect is on it shows me an empty drop down box with no selections. I can see using the cfdebug in the url that the cfc is being executed properly and returning data. It is just not showing up in the drop down. I have been banging my head against this one for a few days now so any outside eyes would be helpful. Anybody else run into this issue where the cfc works fine but does not appear to be bindin

Hi,I am re-writing all the CF charts on out website and want a stylesheet to hold our coperate colours.I am using the below JSON code at the moment by i cant find the code that specifes chartseries colours?I want to be able to use this style sheet for any chart. I'm looking into install ColdFusion 11 Server Enterprise. I like to know if there is a limitation on the number of processors.

So after I've finish installing Coldfusion 11 Enterprise version, the "Launch the Configuration Wizard in the default browser." checkbox was checked.
