I created a custom pod in Flash Builder 4.5 - I am using Brightcove to load videos. But whenever I load the zip file of my bin-release files from the flex project I get "Content Type Not Supported" even though I have renamed an index swf and/or index.html file. There are so little warnings in Connect I need more help identifying possible pitfalls. Todd

How can I make sure an url to connect to a webinar will not work in another browser? The url is using a session cookie instead of username/password to authenticate the user and has the following form: /r5ygd62w5za/?session=breezrek22zu756wgzy8r&launcher=false&refresh_parent=true

My work place installed a VTC network camera and they would like to use it with Adobe Connect for video.I believe it can be done, but since I have not done it before; is this possible to do?If so, please provide detailed instructions in how to do it.Thanks.

During Connect sessions 5-6/11 guests, presenters and host had to restart their browsers and reconnect several times. Were there system problems thoose days?

Our University has only recently signed up to use Adobe connect so I am a new user but have run a couple of tutorials for external students and they seem to go quite well.  I am teaching chemistry and so the tutorial requires a lot of structural drawing which can be done using the line functions in the whiteboard but this is slower than hand drawing the structures and inserting atom text onto line drawings is also slow. We have smartboards but these tutorials are held at night and ideally i would be able to run them from home so wont be able to use a smartboard. I am a pc user and am wondering if there is anyone out there that is using a tablet (adroid or ipad) with a stylus and the whiteboard functionality of connect (or some other method) on a pc to input drawings.If you are, could you tell me what type of tablet you are using and the software you use to connect the pc and tablet or if there is a recommended way of doing this.I am aware that there are mobile versions of connect

I have some users when they create courses and then a curriculum for the course, the courses are being added to the folder created by the curriculum. They are also in the same folder as the curriculum itself. How can this happen?

I had a problem in a meeting today and I'm hoping someone can offer some advice. The meeting had been active for 5 hours  but had broken for lunch. The Connect room was left open during the break and an uploaded mp3 file was playing. When we returned from the break, we ended the mp3 (which was playing perfectly) and our microphones went live but the audio was choppy. Oddly, we weren't losing anything. Instead, the chops in the audio were just pauses, i.e. a word would start- then silence- then it would pick up exactly where it left off. It also seemed to play fast when it was playing at all. All of our attendees experienced this problem. The problem seemed to resolve once I switched the feed to a different system (a Macbook). Our network was open and operating perfectly, so no problem there. Does the audio buffer at any point (local, server, attendee) and, if so, is there a way to avoid it happening again?

The idea is to send out a link to the virtual classroom some days ahead - but allow attendes to enter the room only some minutes before the webinar begins.

No Audio between a host and tow guests via ADOBE CONNECT MEETING??? the host and one of the guests where in saudi arabia and the third person was in the US ,we tried to activate the audio and we did all the options but no way,we really need to use adobe connect so please help

My credit card was lost and then I had to cancel it. Them my adobe connect pro was canceled. Now I cant login to change to another credit card. When I go to my general account in ADOBE I do not see a way to solve this and the help from adobe is very stupid, they do not answer me or send me mails that lead nowhere!!!!I'm running in circuls!TyLaura

I want to watch a recorded Adobe connect session on my iPhone. I open the Connect app, type in the URL, and it tells me that I need to install Flash. Am I missing something? Bceause I know I can watch a live session on Adobe Connect on my phone. Why not a recorded session?

What options do I have for configuring single sign-on (SSO) with Adobe Connect v9? I have conferences that are for employees only or for both guests and employees. When employees are logged into our domain SSO works as expected. For guests and employees not logged into our domain they are prompted to login, they will fail login (which I expect) and then are redirected to the Adobe Connect login page. How do I bypass authentication and get them directly to the Adobe login page? 

I was recently asked if Connect has ever been hacked and I did not know the answer, so I pose it to the users. Have you ever had a problem with someone hacking into your Connect account or event and, if so, please describe what happened.Thanks!

I just signed up for Adobe Connect and want to start using it right now. How do I do this?

We are getting popup inside adobe room saying: "Session timeout" with only "OK" button. We have never experienced it - session inside admin is set to way more than the time after this window shows. Does anybody have some info regarding this message?

I'm having two major issues.1. Although I'm the one setting up the meeting and I have designated myself as the host, when I click "Enter Meeting," I appear as a participant, with no way that I can tell to change this.2. I'm trying to determine ways to add people outside of my organization to the invitee list. When I am in the Select Participants list, there's no way to add anyone outside of my organization to this list.

Hi All,I'm new to Adobe Connect and we are test driving it to see if we should use it for trainging as part of our virtual classrooms.So far I'm really excited by what I see as it seems to be much more training oriented than WebEx.However, I've come across a really big stumbling block. I want students to contribute and share without having to individually promote them to presenters.I found the option under 'Manage Access & Entry' to 'Auto-Promote Participants to Presenters' and thought this issue was solved.However, it worked the first time I tested it but ever since it does not work.When someone logs in as a guest they are logged in as a participant and NOT promoted to Presenter.I've created a new meeting room with the same results.I've specified that anyone can log in with the link and the 'Auto-Promote' is definately on.Any ideas about why this is not working?Many thanks,Aimee

I contacted the "In Meeting" support number and was told that I would not be helped for at least an hour, by then my meeting would have been over.   Is this the typical response I can expect when I call for support?

Hi,For some reason some of my Adobe Connect recordings that had worked previously no longer load. They get as far as the "Adobe Connect connecting..." stage but get no futher until they eventually time out. I have't changed any settingsI have tried accessing the recordings from different browsers, different computers, and different networks. I had a virtual interveiw and had to use adobe connect to do it. I tried to access thsi account and I am not able to get into the virtual interveiw. Please tell me why I cannot access this interview. I am being told it is an adobe problem

Hi,I have a new Microsoft Surface 2 that I am trying to get to work with Adobe Connect.  I enable the camera and see the box for it in Adobe Connect but the box only has black in it and not an image.  Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks!Dale

After some tense struggles and several failed webcam swaps, our support team discoverd that using right-click to select a webcam no longer works after our hosted service's recent upgrade. Is this necessary, or a bug?
