I am trying to install Adobe Presenter 9 Trial on Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.  It hangs up while installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86).  How can I get around this?

Will BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle USB work on Adobe Connect?I cannot make it work at all, is there a way? On BlackMagic Media Express it works fine, but no luck on Connect... In fact, it did appears an option like "Something" Stream, but doesn't work too.Any help on making it work?Or any other suggestion to use a high def camera on Adobe Connect?Thanks in advance.

Keep getting an error message suggesting I trouble shoot

I am trying to follow this link: http://apics.adobeconnect.com/p1wgjemfl5f/and it kicks back error 403. I have tried it on 4 computers and 2 diffenerent networks and turned off basically all security on my comp.Any Suggestions?

I'm simply trying to add an optional pod that I found on Adobe's site (which I believe they are now calling "extensions"?) but I can't find the documentation to add it to my AC meetings rooms.  I've spent the last hour downloading "extension manager" and looking for the documentation but can't find it.  Seems like they would have those instructions on the same page as the available extensions.

Currently when I am using Adobe Connect for videoconferencing my camera and the participants show up side by side and are the same size.  Is there a way to make it so that my camera is smaller (like in Skype where it's just a small box in the corner and the other person takes up most of the screen)?  Also, is there a way I can broadcast my video camera so that the participants can see me, but I do not have to see my own web camera on my screen? Hope that makes sense.

I was wondering if it was possible to add two webcam pods into one Adobe Connect meeting room?  One would be for the presenters and the other pod would be for the the attendees?  The issue we have run into is that the more people with a webcam that join a meeting room, the smaller the images.  We would like to have the presenters show up larger than the attendees so that attendees know what the presenters look like and they don't get lost among everyone else.  Thanks for any help!Luis Duran

The group of folks I am working with are mostly using windows-based PC's.  When they attempt to upload a PowerPoint they always get an error message during the converting stage and when attempting to upload the PPTs to the Content Library.  I and another person - who are using Macs - can both upload these same PowerPoints in the meeting room and to the Content Library with no problem.  I spoke with an AC rep at a conference and he felt that this is probably an issue with some settings on the PC-users computers...but didn't have any suggestions as to what the settings are.  The PC's are running Windows (probably 7 and 8, most likely 7) and Office 2010.  What should I be looking for in their system, as well as on the computers, that could be causing this error consistently?  TIA!

Whenever I upload a PowerPoint into my content I lose a lot of the formatting I have created. How can I prevent this? I am saving it in a .pptx format.

Hi All,We have a hosted account that we've been successfully using for years for e-learning purposes.Now the marketing department is asking us if it'd be possible to embed a live presentation on one of our websites for some big event...I've tried "caging" the adobeconnect url in an iframe even using some of the new html5 tags, with different degrees of success but nothing seems to work 100%.If I use a plain iframe, adobeconnect pops out of the frame and the location bar shows our adobeconnect account's URL.If I use the iframe with the "sandbox=allow-forms" connect stays in the frame, but authentication seems to stop working... etc, etc...I havent been able to find the right combination of tags/commands/scripts or whatever,  that allows me to use our hosted connect account to make a presentation on our website.Has anyone done this? is if possible to do?Any and all help will be appreciated,Thanks-Jose

Hello All,As an higher education institution with an iPad initiative, we are finding the Adobe Connect Mobile app for iPads to be a bit lacking. There are a few behaviors that we've observed that I'm hoping folks who use the system regularly can tell me if the issues are bugs and if they are going to be fixed by Adobe or if we can fix them on our end.Chat history seems to limited to 25 - 27 entries. So if the chat is a long one, there does not seem to be a way on the mobile app to scroll all the way to the top of the chat to see questions/ideas brought up earlier in the session. (Note: we run 3 - 4 chat pods during a session)URLs in Chat or on Slides are not active, cannot be clicked, and cannot be copied when using the app. This prevents participants from accessing the resources.Quiz/Poll results show a graphic representation of the responses in the browser, but that does not appear to be the case in the app.This has been tested on iPads running iOS6 and iOS7 with the same results.I'd

Almost all of our participants are experiencing their audio cutting out in our training but everyone is experiencing at different times. It seems everyone has an excellent internet connection, as does the host. I am in a different location and am also experiencing the same issue. We have never had this problem so widespread. I don't know what else to change.

I'm trying to add a Captivate 6 file to my meeting in Adobe Connect 8. I can publish to the server but when I open a pod in the meeting room and share the document, it will not show properly. It will continue to spin but never upload (in Chrome it freezes the screen and in IE it spins and makes awful white noise). Uploading different ways does not make a difference. I am able to upload PPT and Presenter files fine. I migrated to a new server in July and wonder if some configuration is wrong. Any suggestions on what to try next?

I am going to teach a class and I need my own room layout to be different than the one the students see. In particular, I need to always see all participants in the "attendees" pod and want different sized pods than students since they have limited real estate on their laptop screens and I care about seeing different things than they do during the class. Currently, the only "solution" I have devised is to set up the room for the students and then enter "prepare" mode and go to a layout that works for me without disturbing theirs. This is not ideal as it means I am constantly looking at the room with a blue shading in prepare mode (v. 9 - can I turn that off?) and since now any layout changes I want to make during the presentation become a juggling act. Any suggestions for alternatives to getting a different layout for presenter and participant? Thanks All. Jan

If you watch your recording later and find that even if you turn your computer's volume up all of the way, some speakers are too just too soft--how do you get it to be louder?

How do i stop text falling off the side off a whiteboard

In editing the landing pages via the Event Admin > Event Templates tabs, I am randomly incapable of saving even minor text edits to the template. I have used various browsers including Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.More frequently than not I have stumbled upon this error messag and it will not allow me to save these changes to text fields. When I refresh, close CQ5 and reopen, sign out, restart my browser, etc. the text box that turned into the error message does not show.
