I downloaded the Connect mobile app for iPad. When I host a Connect meeting on iPad, certain features do not work or not supported. Feature such as weblinks and Fileshare pods not supported; The Presenter Only Area, Prepare Mode, Adding pods, Giving enhanced rights to participants features not available on iPad.Is this a problem only on iPad or other mobile devices as well?Thanks.

I'm trying to set up a webinar where we play a recorded meeting.  We don't want people to access the meeting whenever they want, we want everyone to view it at the same time.  The manual/help documents say:"Also, a recorded meeting can be used as content for another meeting."But I can't any information on how to DO this.Can anyone help?Dayna

When hosting meeting and I connect the camera the error message comes up and crashes the meeting. I am using MS Explorer 9.0 8112.16421 and Connect 8. Any idea this has just started in the last week.

hi everybody, i uploded a pdf to adobe connect and everything is working well (sync with all viewers etc.).BUT depending on the width and height of the uploaded document i see more than one page,like the top of the next page.is there a way to only show one page at a time? i am sure i am missing sth. very simple.thank you in advance.michael.

Added a mp4 movie to a powerpoint and published in Presenter 8 to Connect server. In the meeting the movie does not play when I tried to share it from My Content folder. The share pod is blank.What is the problem? Thanks!

After the Connect 9 update this weekend I am no longer able to act as the "Host" in a Connect meeting.  I have tried setting up a new meeting room, deleteing and then re-establishing roles, and tried different users.  Connect makes everyone a participant.  We have a large web-meeting this Wed and need the host to be able to advance the ppt and record the session.

I have a presentation in Adobe Presenter complete with audio.  I did not publish it through Captivate I went directly tp Adobe Connect and pulled it straight into the CONTENT section.  When I do that I DO NOT ger the audio to come with it.What do I need to do?  When I publish it from Captivate the audio goes to Adobe Connect however when I run the session from the Captivate lesson it asks for an Adobe Connect ID and password.  We don't want that .Any suggestions?

I was helping with 2 Adobe Connect sessions 2 days ago and several PDFs that were earlier uploaded into the class could not open. The error message was "The selected document could not be retrieved. Please try uploading the document again." We encountered the same message when uploading some PDFs and we had to repeatedly try again until Connect evenutally allowed the files to be uploaded. The PDF files opened nicely when we tested at the point of successful upload. They fail to open the next day during class. Any input on this? Thanks in advance,Ivy

I upgraded to Connect 9, and now I cannot login. In the access.log file, I get the following message when trying to login  "Field session-id of type 4 is missing.". I authenticate via Active Directory, but I cannot login with a local account either. I've been searching, but nothing showing up for this error message.

I currently work at a company who supports students who connect to Live Lessons using the Adobe Connect software.Recently quite a few calls have been received where a user has a Windows XP SP3 machine using either IE 8 or Firefox and the only way they can hear clear audio in a Live Lesson room is to either minimize the window or cover the meeting window with another window.  This only occurs in IE 8 and Firefox.  The workaround we are using right now is to download Chrome which works perfectly fine.We have only seen this on Windows XP SP3 machines.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have two meetings scheduled in which I plan to use the Adobe Connect tool. Do I need to send a separate URL for each meeting or can I send one meeting URL for both. There will be a different group for each meeting; the topic will be the same for both meetings but the presentations will not be the same. Thanks in advance for your help.

Where does Captivate save my files? When I look at recent items it only shows the last nine most recent files.

We are in Birmingham and have just started using Connect as an LMS for our Captivate E-learning modules. Having issues as guide not much use and training was poor. Are there any experienced users in the area who are willing to let us have a nose at their system or does anyone know of any local experts we could bring in? Thanks.

I am trying to record an Adobe Connect meeting however would like to record the audio from a BT MeetMe conference. Is there a way to tie the two together?

Back in July, Adobe's tech support said they would be working to fix the bug that causes meeting participants to see a substitute mouse pointer instead of the real mouse pointer that the presenter sees. Does anyone know if this fix has been done, yet? Because of this bug, I have to use WebEx, and I really don't like it.
