I just tested my Adobe Connect Standard Meeting room an hour ago and all was well. Now when I go to their server at na1.connect.acrobat.com, it can't find the server. I am supposed to teach a live online Adv. Flash class in five minutes. This is a first. I've never seen it go down. My browser is able to connect to all other sites, including (obviously) Adobe's. Argh! Joyce

When I broadcast to one participant my lag time is minimal. (I wear solid colors and have a solid color background just so my camera is not working harder procssing. BUT last weekend I held a group presentation where 9 people attended, (not broadcasting their cameras to me, just watching), and my lag time was intolerable. I did allow them to be come Presenters. My broadband service said it was not my broadcast but something on the web, (Acrobat). Does anyone have any ideas on how I should trouble shoot this? Thanks very, very much! Scot

Hi: We are currently using a tool from a Connect Reseller that registers attendees for or online events. The tool integrates with connect pro and is able to manage the registrations and report on the attendees. However, the tool is very buggy and only works about 60% of the time and we lose registrations. Does anyone know of a tool that has the same functionality but is stable?

Is there a way to hare audio files or video files wih Acrobat Connect? I have experimentd with using Adobe Media Player while sharing my screen. It works, although it is a bit hesitant. Additionaly there is no sound on attendee computers. Do I have to move to Acrobat Connect Pro?

How are chat messages and voice saved on the adobe server if recording is turned on? What format of the files are they in?

I'm working in a University where we use Adobe Connect for online meetings between coworkers, clients and some of our teachers are using Connect for online courses. It's working really well and we'd like to use it even more in september, but, we have a limited number or participants (80) and we don't want to create situation where all the places are taken and a some students can't join their meetings... Did any of you had this problem? How did you deal with this? Does anything exist, like a plug-in calender, where you can do reservation ?

A few seconds after I enter the meeting (I see all the pods and everything) I get what appears to be a full-screen gray box with no text or buttons. It just fills the entire screen and the only way out is to close the meeting window altogether. This doesn't happen with all meetings. I am running a licensed version of Connect 7.

I have signed in for a 15 days Trial Version of Acrobat Connect and have been able to start a meeting and to invite attendees. However the invitees were not able to enter the meeting as guests but were requested to enter user name and password. Does anybody know why it does not work to enter as a guest when the meeting is already opened by the host? Thanks

I know you can download a Breeze presentation and other files but can you download a recorded meeting? The intent was to burn it on CD for those who are unable to access the server to view the recording.

My organization uses adobe connect across the internet and we would like to enable SSL on the server. I have instructions for enabling SSL once a CSR is generated, but I do not know how to actually generate the CSR using Adobe Connect. Any info on how to generate a SSL CSR would be great, thanks.

I hear my outgoing audio with a 1-2 second delay. Is it possible to mute my own audio but leave my speakers/headphone on so I can hear other participants?

Hi, Has anyone seen or done a ranking of optional cameras and microphones for Adobe Connect Pro? It would be great to get an overview of best and most economic products. Right now I am testing: - QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac, from Logitech - And I have not succeeded yet in getting it to show up in the camera configuration. - ClearChat Pro USB - And I think there is a humming noise which I have not heard before using other headsets and also my Mac's buil-in microphone. Hello all!! I'm having problems printing from adobe 8.12. It says while I have a PDF file opened that "unable to start print job. Is printer available" message. I can print from word and excel but not from adobe reader 8.0? why not? any suggestions would be helpful, thanks in advance. Joe

Does anyone know why the audio animation effects become faint when mixed in Breeze with the narration audio? It is almost as if it automatically layers the audio for the narration to take precedence.

The scenario is: • Any user that is a user in Adobe Connect can join a meeting by logging into the meeting. • The meeting has a video in it. • The user can watch the video. • The catch is the meeting host is not in the meeting. Settings: The login meeting setting is: Only registered users may enter the room (guest access is blocked)The movie is made “Public”. Can this be accomplished? I am trying to use videos with Presenter 7 and getting very poor quality when produced as part of a package. I've tried two different methods: The first is to import either mpgs or wmvs. The second is to import existing Flash movies. In both cases the videos are almost crystal-clear in their original form, but turn out a blurry, jumbled mess after being imported. Thanks

I love the new training catalogue feature in Connect Pro however, is there a way in which you can set up the folder structure at an organisational level and prevent people adding new folders and subfolders?

When importing an mp4 video into a presentation, why doesn't Presenter convert it to an .flv file as it does with other formats? Is there any way to force it to convert?
