I am attempting to install the Outlook 2007 Plug-in for Acrobat Connect. After the plugin is installed and Outlook is started I am prompted for a meeting url, username and password. I enter a valid meeting url, username and password then told that "The meeting room you specified is incorrect. Please enter a different meeting room." I have entered a number of valid meeting room addresses with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated... Bruce

I am having an issue with a few courses i am creating. I creat them in presenter and upload them to Connect then if i receive any changes or updates i try to open the PPT and make the changes put the PPC files is not in the folder. Can anyone explain this. It has happened at least 3-4 times on this large project I am working on.

When presenting, Connect intermittantly crashes on me and I have to restart Connect to rejoin the meeting. I found this: http://www.adobe.com/go/kb400840 ... but I wonder if anyone has a work-around or if anyone from Adobe knows the status of that bug or whether it will be fixed soon. Oddly, though a knowledge base article exists, this problem is not listed on the "known issues" section of the Ver6-SP3 page: http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/breeze/6/releasenotes.html Hopefully that doesn't mean someone thinks it's fixed...

I have Connect Professional, in a hosted envoriment. When I attempt to delete a user, I recieve the following message: Account Limit Reached You do not have enough quotas to perform this operation. For further assistance, please check out the Connect Enterprise support center or contact Connect Enterprise support. The steps I take are as follows: 1. Log into Enterprise Manager as Admin 2. Click "Administration" in the top menu bar 3. Click "User and Groups" 4. Scroll down to the user and click to highlight them 5. Click "Delete" 6. Click "Delete" again Any suggestions?

Is there any way we can extract bits of a recorded webinar in Connect Professional, and embed them as "demos" in a Powerpoint presentation? Not sure how these recorded events are stored, and where, and if we have access to editing them in any way. Thanks!

Hello, I've got a small problem here on my adobe connect server. When I reboot my server the adobe connect service became unavaible (connection failed). After verification the breeze and FMS services are well launched. And when I start the console on http://localhost:8510/console the service became avaible immediately without having to restart manually the services. Does anyone have a clue about this? Windows 2003 R2 Standard SP2 Adobe Connect Entreprise 6.3,40 SP3 SQL Server 2005 SP2

Looking for some help, I have a presentation that i have uploaded to acrobat as a Adobe Presenter presentation prepared in power point. It has within it two flash animations and one flash paper document. The issue is that although the whole presentation sychronises , the animation 'click thruogh's' and the flash paper do not. e.g. When getting to the flash paper document if i scroll down or zoom in to it it does not move or zoom on the attendee's screen, They have complete controle of it. When i click on one of the click thruoghs on the animation i get the next movie playing, they however need to be directed to click on the correct bit to see the next movie. This obviously makes controling the presentation a tad tricky especially if there is more than one attendee. I know the solution would be to re-program the animations so that there is only one movie per slide, but this does not solve the flash paper issue. Or i could share my desktop and play the presentation within my brow

I know with Camtasia you can have an audio background and a voice over in the "foreground" - and I would like to do the same somehow with Breeze/Connect. Any advice out there?

I need to be able to share a PDF document within a meeting room the same way I can share a PowerPoint document. I've found how I can upload a PDF to the content library and have a link provided, but what I really need is to be able to control how a participant views the document. Actually, I need to do this with Word documents as well. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance, Jack

Hi, I keep getting Backward Timestamp errors in the Servers Application Event Viewer but only when users are in meetings/using the service. The users are often from all over the globe meaning different time-zones and they mostly use their own home computers, could that contribute to the cause? I'm fairly new to Server Management so any pointers would be highly appreciated. Regards, Simozone. Server : Dell PowerEdge 1950 with Srvr 2003 Enterprise (SP2). Hi Since we upgraded from Adobe Breeze to Adobe Connect Professional we have a large number of users suddenly getting an application error message in Internet Explorer with "the instruction at '0x30236FA2' referenced memory at '0x00000000" memory could not be read. At first we thought it must be something specific to one machine, but then got more reports. One school has even tried on all their WindowsXP machine, and all crash. The following from Microsoft looks like it may help, but little wary of HotFixes you have to ask for. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/899811/ Anyone else experiencing this?

If I'm in remote control mode, how do I do simple stuff like CTRL+V/CTRL+P, etc? When I use shortcut keys, they don't seem to be submitted to the remote session?

I am completely confused on this one. I have acrobat 7.0 and now my computer freezes the minute I try to open a pdf off internet pages( I open online manufacturer pdf files for information) I tried to install the new version but it wouldn't install because it can't remove the old program, and if I try to remove the 7.0 I get an error message stating something about an incorrect "path" so I can't remove or update to a new program. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the benefits/drawbacks of using the Connect Plugin vs viewing presentations inside a browser? We have been troubleshooting a few issues (one being that those using a browser tend to find their screen refreshes from time to time), and I wondered what might be the best route. I realize that not using the plugin means all they have to do is have Flash player installed, but are there any other considerations? Thanks in advance, Craig

I just took up a tech position at a marketing firm and they require video conferencing capabilities with clients in london. They currently use adobe connect but the camera is horrible and background light creates silhouette people. If anyone has information or recommendations for new cameras or other solutions it would be greatly appreciated.

I created a form in Adobe. I've added calculations to some of the fields so they compute a running total. At the end I need to add a calculations that subtracts a cash advance from the total. How can I do this? I do not see an option for subtraction under calculations only plus, average, min & max.

If I have Adobe Reader 8 on my computer, does that mean I also have Acrobat? I know Acrobat is for creating pdf etc, and adobe is reading pdf.s I need to edit a pdf but I don't know if I have Acrobat with the adobe to edit it. If it isn't the same, how do I go about getting Acrobat?

More specifically, I am trying to figure out if it is possible to prohibit participants from saving the details of a meeting by clicking on the Print Screen function. Thanks very much.

I have a Breeze presentation that I am publishing for elearning. I have the quiz settings to send the user back to the beginning of the slides if they fail the quiz. However, when I test, I fail the quiz, when my results display i've failed and when I click on the continue button nothing happens. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!! Thanks!

Heya all -- I have a client who is requesting an HTML form that updates a database, then returns a PDF that includes some of the data entered in the form. The PDF is an existing document, and is quite extensive, so creating a new one every time seems inefficient. I'd love to be able to put some input fields on the PDF, and have a server-side script propigate the fields with the incoming data, then flatten the PDF and return it. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so how would it be done? Thanks so much for any help! -Lucas

Adobe touts the PDF as being editable, to varying degrees. So far all I can find is just the ability to add comments or strikeouts. My partner wants to be able to edit the PDF I send him such that his text replaces mine so that he can see the results of his updates. Is this possible?
