I am running Macromedia Breeze v5 and when I add the fade transition to objects it does not carry through to publish. Objects just appear without any animation. All the other basic animations work, but not something as basic as Fade. Anyone experience this?

No matter what format I insert in Powerpoint, when I publish to Breeze the image becomes blurry. I tried multiple image formats, with and without transparency. Any suggestions?

' I am trying to record lectures in Adobe Connect Pro to be archived for students. I'm recording on a MacBook Pro with built in iSight camera. I also use a headset for audio. I am able to engage the built in iSight but it will not record via the external line in audio input. This is what I do know... 1. Nothing is wrong with the headset. I'm able to record audio using the headset mic in other programs. 2. I've set the MacBook's internal sound settings to external line-in. 3. In Adobe Connect, using the Audio Set-up Wizard, I've selected "builit-in input" Still....no audio in! Please help. Thanks dm

Hi Can anyone help please. I have recently downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro for trial before buy and need some clarification ona point. When I export a document to word as a "WORD" document, it works fine but when I then open it up in WORD and look at it, i find the following: All text seems to have been exported to word and put into text boxes. Virtually every few lines is in a separate text box. this makes it very awkward when I need to do some editing in the "WORD" document. Is there any way that Adobe can export to "WORD" without putting the text into text boxes or is this the only way Adobe can handle the export. If it is then the I can't see how I can justify buying a product that only half does the job. I hope that I have explained the problem well enough and look forward to anyone coming up with a solution. Regards

I need to get a list of meeting rooms that the user is a participant/host/presenter in. In all the documentation I look at, it always suggest to use "report-my-meetings" while logged in as the user. This really isn't an option for the system that I'm building. I am logged in through an account that has full administrative access, but I'm having a tough time finding out what to pass to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Just recently installed this software. Alot of bells and whistles which will be beneficial, but presently I just need to be able to move pages within the document. If I select several pages to move within the document (clicking on first, holding down shift key and clicking last page to move), when I try to move, it only moves one. Also, my printer has duplex printing capabilities. However, when I use AA 7. the option to duplex print isn't available. Do I need upgraded print driver or is that a conflict with this printer and the software? Pretty clueless on this one. And, of course, as is usually true when you are experiencing challenges, I need resolution yesterday! Thanks

Hello, I was thinking of purchasing Adobe Connect Enterprise Server 6 and had a question regarding licensing, but didn’t want to receive the hard sell from an Adobe representative. I wish to deploy Adobe connect on a single server behind a firewall and with an estimated on/off access of around 200 users. Does anybody use it for a similar scenario? If so what additional features have you decided to use and how easy has it been to integrate? Most importantly for me, on a cost basis, how does the licensing work for the product itself and the additional add-ons, is it a per user cost or per instillation? All very basic questions, but I thought I would dip my toes in the water slowly  Any comments would be most helpful. Thanks

Is it possible to access the contents of the chat pod, in Connect Professional, using the XML API? What I want to do is clear the contents of the pod programmatically. I've tried drilling down through the SCO ID's of my test meetings, but I don't see anything below the meeting level. In other words there doen't seem to be a SCO for the individual pods. Thanks Eric

Has anyone used Edit Team Members - under Admin, User Groups? I was thinking I was sly in having T/D get Teams of people underneath them - so as to monitor their regions participant rates. When I did this, it changed the users manager. I've tried changing it back and forth - and it seems each user can only have 1 manager... is that right?

I have two people set up as training managers. They can get into the training tab and added new enrollees, but when the go to reports and click on a specific person to review their curriculum. They receive the screen that says not authorized. can anyone help me? Thank you

I am trying to create a form that has stationary objects, but inputs data interactively. The form will collect data from four quarters of the year. I want the form to have the same questions always and that then migrates to a summary page. The trick I want to do is, I want the form to open up each time with the same data questions, say for quarter 1. When the user fills in the data, those numbers then copy onto the "summary" page under a "quarter 1" heading. I want the user to be able then in quarter 2 to enter the data for that quarter and then the data copies under a "quarter 2" heading, etc. Is that a subform issue? Any help would be appreciated!

We're having a problem where the links in emails sent by eseminars@adobe.com are not working. Not only aren't they working, but from the perspective of someone trying to participate in a conference, they're failing in an obtuse and unhelpful way. An example of a URL that failed: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/event/index.cfm?event=track&id=992842&loc=en_us The URL ends up at Adobe's "Page Does Not Exist" screen. Same result regardless of whether the seminar is in progress. Is the URL malformed? Is Adobe's own site misconfigured? This is with Apple Mail and Safari behind a NAT firewall. MacOS 10.4. Not sure if this is the best forum, but since Adobe's eSeminars are using Connect Professional, and frustrations with one reflect upon the other, hopefully someone knows what's going on and how to get it fixed.

I'm relatively new to the Adobe products and our manager of E-Learning is currently in the wilds of Michigan and unreachable. So I reach out to you for assistance. Our CFO would like to create a webcast to be viewed by some attorneys in the firm. He will be recording audio segments and will most likely have a PowerPoint in which to accompany his voice. In addition, I forsee him wanting to use Excel spreadsheets and possibly other documents (PDF, etc.) and have this posted to our many servers so that those with "permissions" are able to access it. In addition, he may want to know who of the select group has viewed it - ie reports. Which product or products will best serve my needs? TYIA Barbara

I am trying to create a custom single sign on solution for a client and I have implemented the HTTP Header authentication which is working fine. However, I would like to use my own sign in page instead of the connect sign in page for instances where the single sign on is bypassed - i.e. a direct meeting link which gives the user the option of signing in as guest or with username + password. Is there a configuration option tucked away in an xml file somewhere which will allow me to do this?

I have been trying to take Symantec online training courses which use Macromedia Breeze. When I try to access the course I get a grey screen which has the Macromedia Breeze logo and a green rotating circle - that is all. It seem not to try downloading anything else. I have tried this on a friend's PC and it seems to work there so I think I am missing something or have an incorrect setting in IE.

Hello everyone! My name is Eric Hartmann; this is my first post! I am a multimedia designer newly employed at the Arizona Supreme Court as an Education Specialist. I have been working in eLearning now for a couple of years building animations and interactives with Flash and uploading to an LCMS. The Court has been using Authorware to build and publish our CBTs, but it turns out that Authorware is not supported on Windows Vista and information about an update is not avaiable. Of course, the entirety of the AZ Supreme Courts is migrating to the Vista platform sometime near October. Could be an issue! This brought me to research if there were other software options available for CBTs and web delivered training (as I suspect in the future we may additionally go that direction). I have heard that something along the lines of Breeze or Connect might do the trick for us, but my impression is that Breeze was more like an LMS but is now discontinued, and that Connect is more of a video confer

We want to display two pages side by side so that we can copy a page between two documents. The HELP titled "Extracting, moving and copying pages" gives directions on how to copy. We are inable to find any HELP on how to "display them side by side".

I have an MS SQL problem, I have set up Adobe Enterprise with a MS SQL 2005 database. Although ‘Connect’ recognised the SQL data source on install it now refuses to connect. The SQL log shows that a connection is being attempted every time the System Administrator username and password details are entered into the ‘Connect’ configuration, so details such as host, data source etc are right. I assume this must be an authentication problem but how do I either reset the SQL system admin details or access the database outside of the SQL management software to verify that the login details I am putting into Connect are in fact right. Any help please….
