We want to send an invitation through outlook for people to attend a meeting. Our audience is very large and geographically diverse so we will be hosting a number of sessions. We would like to be able to send the invitation through an outlook email and include links to the various meetings so some can click on the link and register for the specific meeting date and time. We hope to be able to:1. Use the distribution lists available in our outlook network rather than having to add them to the Adobe User list2. Give people the opportunity to register in advance and receive and automated calendar item3. Make sure that we stay within the 100 person limit for each meeting Is there a way to do this? I know I can register users in Adobe as an administrator but I am not sure how to let users register on their own in advance of the session. Thanks for your advice.
I have several issues with this. First off Internet Explorer doesn't work on some pages but Chrome does show the requested page. Also this when clicking Event Management then clicking Event Templates I get a weird URL of http:///content/connect/c1/7//event_landing.html what is really strange is my site is using port 443 and is a https site. This link pops up in various pages.
We use an external script to manage our Adobe-Connect-Servers with webAPI.Since 2 months, we define meeting-user with permission host and on login they are viewer. We found an problem by update the built-in group 'live-admins'.Any changes on auto-update built-in groups?
I have used connect in the past and now when I go to the login page it does not take me to the meeting setup screen it takes me to a screen asking me log in my oder number. I do that and still can't get into the room.
I created a tutorial using Captivate 9 and published in an HTML5 format. I can get the tutorial to run outside of Adobe Connect, but it does not work when I try to run it from Adobe Connect. How can I get Adobe Connect to support an HTML5 presentation generated from Captivate?

I have published a Captivate 9 file to Adobe Connect 9.5. When I click SYNC, the participants are not able to see what the host is doing. I have posted this to the Captivate forum and BDuckWorks suggested asking here instead.To verify the expected result using SYNC - in my previous experience, I upload a Captivate SWF file to Adobe Connect. All users are able to control their own file from their computer but when the Host clicks SYNC, the participant view should match up to to the HOST view. IN addition, if the HOST unclicks SYNC, the participant should be able to watch the HOST run through the SWF file but does not have control to click the screen.BDuckWorks says - I would search for Adobe Connect support of Captivate 9.0.2, specifically the addition of JSON files.Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I need the Host to have control of the SWF file and the participants watch the activity together.

Hi!we are looking into using Adobe Connect as a webinar solution for our non-profit organization and we would like to get a free trial to start with, before subscribing to a yearly plan hosted service1) once the 30-days free trial runs out, can we upgrade to the subscription keeping all the data we have organized in Connect-Central during the free trial: - for example: seminar rooms, personalized layouts and pods and content, users and groups, content, etc. ? or will we have to start from scratch at the end of the trial? what is preserved and what gets scratched?2) what is the difference in buying directly from the Adobe online store (here: Adobe Connect ) or from a reseller ? Pro & Con please? and can we get the free trial from Adobe and then convert it to subscription via a reseller?Thanks, Betta
I'm using adobe connect on my smart phone,its an android device,i tired all the versions on my device,but,when i start the app every thing is ok,i type the link,enter the password,it connects to the meeting,but just after a few seconds,it suddenly closes,and just an icon appears in my devices notification bar,when i tap on it,it routes me to the application,but it closes twice,without any icon in notification bar

When I pull an attendee report through Events, it is inaccurate. It only lists a few people as having attended when I've manually marked more than that as having attended. They are all accessing the correct link to attend -- they do not have direct access to the meeting room, so they must enter through the link given to them after registering.
I have created a group and when I am in the admin tab I can see all the members. When I go to reports and pull the individual report by group for this group it only shows me one person. Additionally I have assigned this group to a curriculum. When I look in the report for the curriculum under the training tab I can see the members but when I pull a report from the report tab on the curriculum based on this group I see the individual that appears in the learner report and no one else. I need a way to assign a group to a curriculum and track them quickly by group and by individual. Ideas? Why is this discrepancy appearing? I know that reports tab is a 24 hour update but I created these group about 2 weeks ago.

Please contact your Administrator for assistance.When they use another computer system they are able to connect. Need to know how to resolve?Thanks,

Our company runs an Adobe Connect Video Chat application. It has been active since January 2012. Currently, we have about 80k active users. We have never experienced much echoing until the last 90 days. Now, all of sudden there is a pretty significant echo happening randomly in about 70% of the calls.We can clearly tell its the speaker looping back into the microphone of the computer. However, the Acoustic Echo Canceller has always done a pretty good job of reducing/eliminating it. Has anyone else experienced a recent change in this? Possibly a new version of flash that is not cancelling echo as effective as it was? We are currently using Flash v23.0.0.185
I have received a couple of emails from users trying to view a password protected recording on connect. They open the url in either safari or chrome and enter the password the follwoing then happens:The page refreshes and the password disappears It asks them to download Adobe Connect or to try again - They try again as they already have the app and it goes back to 1.I don't have a Mac so can't test it out but has anyone had similar problems and found a solutionThanks

Hello professionals,I have been getting a lot of complaints from users watching my training materials on the adobe connect system. We have been using connect to share video training and quizzes in PowerPoint. The problems seem to be with the video portions of the training. the users claim that the videos will either not play at all, play a little before freezing, or be cut short and interrupted by the quizzes. They all say that they are at computers with good connection speed. The most recent incident had a 14mbps download speed and yet could not view a presentation that contained a 720p video.The videos are externally produced as .mp4's before being added into the PowerPoint presentations via Adobe Presenter. We have tried this method of delivery for videos of 1080p quality all the way down to 480i, and the results seem to be the same. Most people seem to be able to watch without issue, but too many are not able to complete the training.Of course, everything seems to work just fine he
I know I am using my correct adobe login and password. So why the error? Is this password some how different than the password for the Adobe Ed Exchange? I could just reset.. But I dont want to. So far, I have attended two live events as Guest. I probably dont get credit for being there...
Hi,We have a strange problem with one of our meetings, yesterday (october 09) an attendee of a meeting held on september 27 sent his invite message back to all the other attendees of that meeting, we don't know how this attendee got the e-mails of all the other attendees, the field "To" on his message had the e-mail adress of all the other anttendees. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?Thanks.
