After setting up a meeting as a host and entering the meeting room I am a participant rather than a host and therefore can't let others join conversation
We bought adobe softwares at work and from my home I click the link to which we got in the email, I can not remember what link it was.Then suddenly I can not watch the videos with the help with adobe connect which I used to watch. ANd they are saying Adobe connect undergo maintenance.
I am trying to use a Blue Snowball mic with Connect, with appalling sound quality. With other software (e.g. Camtasia) sound quality is great, so the mic is OK.My suspicion is a sampling mismatch, as Snowball uses a fixed 16bit / 44.1 kHz setting. Can I configure this in Connect?BR Stefan
We record all of our meetings and we want to make the recordings available to some people who did not attend the meetings. One approach is to make the meetings public and send the URL to the people who need to view the recordings. This "security by obscurity" approach is less than optimal.Could we create IDs for these people on our Connect server (we run Connect on-premise) which would provide them with the ability to view recordings but not be authorized to do much more than that on the server? We certainly don't want them to have administrator or host privileges or the ability to edit recordings. All they need is the ability to navigate to a recording and view it.
Aloha,I am the manager of the Hawaii Flash User Group. Is there a way to find all your recorded Adobe Connect recordings? I found most of them except for 2015.I had to re build the web-site again, as it was hacked. I really would love to have links to all the recordings in case somebody might want to watch a recording for a topic that they would be interested in.Thanks!Johnny
Is there a maximum file size of an MP4 that can be uploaded in to an Adobe Connect Share Pod?
Does Adobe plan to continue offering Connect service indefinitely or is there a known sunset date? I ask because Connect appears to be following the same pattern as other Adobe products that were gradually ended (PageMaker, OnLocation, ATM Deluxe, Soundbooth, GoLive, etc.), i.e. updates offer fewer and fewer real technological enhancements. I've been using Connect intensively for three+ years and have seen very little breakthrough technical improvements. HD video options? Nope. Expanded telephone service integration? Nada. Batch recording export? Nothing. It's very reminiscent of the way these now former products were slowly ended. I ask because I'm getting pressure in my office to explore Microsoft's offering as an alternative. I haven't looked at it yet but that might change if Connect doesn't show any signs of keeping up with the technological demands of its users.So, what are Adobe's plans for Connect? How do I shorten the URL in the email? I am setting up an event in Connect and the URL is so long it breaks on two lines. Can it be shortened?
The current "Make Recording Offline" option in Adobe Connect 9.5 presents several dialogue boxes with buttons but no default keyboard shortcuts (1) "Next" (2) "Proceed with offline recording" (3) Save Dialogue and finally the "Stop and Save" button that can be pressed at any time during the recording.I realize you've made a marketing decision to abandon the differently-abled and also any institutions burdened with compliance issues, but it also affects people who use the API to automate procedures. Hello all,I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with a problem I'm having with my Adobe Connect Add-In.I have a relatively old macbook with Mac OSX version 10.6.8 installed, as well as the 9th version of Adobe Connect Add-in. It seemed to install fine, and meetings work fine. Everything is fine until I try to screen-share, at which point it consistently crashes, giving me a box that just tells me the application has quit working. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the same result. Is this because I have an older OS? Has anyone else had this problem with only the screen-sharing? Also, is there anywhere I can test my screen-sharing capabilities other than when I'm in a meeting, similar to how Skype has a contact you can call to test your connection?If you could help point me in the right direction with this issue, I would be most grateful. Please let me know if there's any further info I'm forgetting to share!
I have a Dell system with a Microsoft LifeCam usb camera, and have been using this with Connect for a few years.I upgraded to W10, and now although the camera works fine in other applications (Skype, Camera (Windows viewer), ..), in Connect it just shows up as a black window. I then tried an alternate USB camera, (logitech QuickCam Pro) which also works in other applications, but shows black in Connect. Connect recognized both of them (select camera: ...), but doesn't work with either.I read one note in the forums, that Connect would not support over 640-x480, but neither of these cameras will set that low, and again have both been working for the last 1-2 years.

Hi Adobe Connect! We are a group of web-programming students that are working on a project given by the university where we are studying. The majority of our lectures are being streamed with Adobe Connect, and one of our requested features for the product we are developing is to be able to read the status/quality of the hosts (in our case the teachers) streams. Is there a way to verify this status if any errors occurs during the stream? Or if the stream goes down completely? We have been reading the API-documentation but unfortunately we haven’t been able to find anything which can help us. Any help you can give us is very much appreciated!
