Hey guys!I'm trying to insert some users into a connect room using the API. But I can't do this using HTTPService of Adobe Flex, just using the HTTPRequest, that opens a new browser window and then the Add-In, if installed on the user machine.This is the only way to do this? I believe that Connect needs the browser to send the data to the Connect server and allow the user to enter the room...Another doubt that I have... When I have a meeting opened at the machine and try to open another windows of the meeting using the API url using another username, I can't enter the room with the name I choosed now... I have the name of the first user duplicated... Is that because the cookie session?
Currently running Connect 9.0.4.What (if any) issues are there for Windows 10 users?Do we have to upgrade to Connect 9.5 for Windows 10 users?PS Under compatabilty for 9.0.4 & 9.3, Windows 10 is not listed. Could be that Windows 10 was not out when posted
My Department utilizes Adobe Connect 9 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 respectively. With Adobe Connect 9 I am attempting to use the desktop sharing ability, but when I run the option, my system does not allow the add-in to run. With respect to Presenter and PowerPoint 2013, I have the same issue. I cannot run the Presenter add-in without having full administrative rights.My IT section states it is because both programs/add-ins are not Microsoft LUA programming guide compliant?Any information or assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am looking to prove Adobe does ensure programming compliance and it is actually an issue on my IT's side.
Hello, Thank you for the free trial which we have started.I have a problem with the webcam because the Adobe Flash Player plugin are crashing. We don’t have this problem in any other applications where we am using webcam. Even in safe mode in Firefox I have the same problem.I have tried for several hours to get through to the Adobe Connect Chat support but so far no luck. I'm looking for suggestions for a document webcam that works well with Connect. In the past I've used some Logitech webcams mounted to a tripod boom, and recently switched to an IPEVO ZiggyHD which takes up less space. The Logitech webcam software allows you to view the camera image and make any adjustments (zoom, exposure, focus, etc.) while the camera is live in the meeting. The IPEVO software only lets you adjust the focus and exposure while the camera is live, and it doesn't show the camera image. For lighting I use a 10W LED desk lamp. Text is clear when looking at the video through the camera software, but when viewed through a meeting, the smaller printed text is barely legible. Maybe this is due to video limitations of the meeting, and not the camera. Is it possible to get better resolution video for document viewing using a webcam?Thx, Craig

Do I have to upgrade my Adobe Account to add authors? For some reason I cannot add an author to the only one that I have in the account. When I attempt to add this author I receive a message saying that the limit of my account is over limit... I admit that this is frustrating for the price I pay every month...
When I am uploading a Powerpoint file to the "Share a document" pod in Adobe Connect, the upload just works fine but converting the file fails.This starts happening after updating to Apple's El Capitan (OSX 10.11).Uploading the same file with Windows 7 just converts fine.I already updated the Adobe Connect Add-in to the latest version and I also allowed the Add-in to use Accessibility in the Privacy settings in System Preferences.Is there any solution?

Hi, I am new to Adobe and when I run my first webinar I encountered big problem - most of my participants did not receive the Meeting Invitation e-mail and those who received it could not use the links.My webinars are open and participants are in different countries using different e-mail clients. I have no control over it and I would like to be able to send them simple instructions on what to do to make sure the Adobe connect e-mails do not get caught by their SPAM filters.Thank you for your support!!
I've configured my video pod for the highest quality (480 @ 20 fps) but my attendees are all getting? at best? 3 or 4 fps. Choppy/Choppy/Choppy video feed. The problem is not at their end since the recording of the webinar also shows choppy/choppy/choppy video. My host laptop has serious processing power and can easily handle the load. The camera I'm feeding is set for 480 @ 15 fps which Connect should be able to reproduce easily since the specs are consistent with the pod's settings. In fact, the video pod on the host laptop shows the full frame rate, i.e. no choppy video. It's only downstream that the problem manifests.It seems that there's a bottleneck somewhere between my host laptop and the Adobe server, but how can I locate it? Does Adobe have a way of verifying that the signal is arriving at the full 20 fps? If not, how can I know that the problem is not at Adobe's server?This is easily the most frustrating problem I've encountered in Connect, and that is saying something my fri
All of the following questions are from the view point of an instructor using the Android Connect app v2.4.10 (latest version, today is Oct 05 2015)How can I login as an instructor, e.g. the host using the Android app? Currently I must login on my PC, accept the request from my Android table, then elevate my Android signin to host. When I signin on my windows PC I click on my saved bookmark, enter my userid and PW (actually this is automatically entered for me by the browser), I'm now on the logged in screen, I then click on my name in the upper right corner of the screen, I see my profile where I click on the "Instructor Calendar" link, I then see a calendar in the month view, I click on the class I will be teaching, I then see the info page for the class where I click on the "Launch Class" button and this opens the class. What should I be using for the URL in the Android app? Currently I have to use the actual meeting URL such as https://xyxyxyxyxyxyxyx.learnondemand.net/User/L
I created a custom DNS like connect.mycompany.com to add a CNAME record that points it to the DNS given by the hosted Adobe Connect like mycompany.adobeconnect.com. But it doesn't work. Is there anyway to use the custom DNS in the hosted?
I was wondering if there is any way to specify/include/install the Opus Codec instead of Speex? The Speex website indicates the following: "The Speex codec has been obsoleted by Opus.
