  • Adobe offers generous discounts for Creative Cloud Pro to students & teachers with current ID or other proof of EDU eligibility.
    https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/buy/students.html
  • Adobe also partners with TechSoup for discounts to eligible NON-PROFITS with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
    https://www.techsoup.org/
  • As far as I know, no software makers offer direct discounts to retired seniors. But you might check with other orgs like AARP.

Hope that helps.

This is a really annoying situation to me. As an Adobe customer and graphic artist for over 30 years (and now retired) I find it absurd that I should continue to pay almost $1,000 a year to keep my ACS active and be able to access my work for my own uses and help a couple of small clients every couple of months. Why should I pay the same amount as a designer who utilizes the software daily and bills 100K a year?

@Moose3113

that’s like asking mercedes benz why you should pay the same for a car that you’re not going to drive much.

No, more like asking your auto insurance for a discounted rate for a car you put very low  mileage on during the year – which is standard industry practice.

Hey Helmut, that’s a really good question — and honestly, a lot of people have asked the same thing. Sadly, Adobe doesn’t currently offer a special discount or cheaper plan just for retired or senior users. The only official discounts they have are for students and teachers.

That said, it’s still worth checking with Adobe Support directly — sometimes they can guide you to region-specific offers or smaller single-app plans that cost less than the full Creative Cloud bundle. Also, keep an eye out for their seasonal deals (like Black Friday), those usually have big discounts.

It would actually be great if Adobe introduced a retiree plan — a lot of creative professionals would definitely appreciate that.
