TItle says it all.  Just made switch from Windows to Mac and have tried installing Digital Editions 4.5.12.  The first time I opened it I authorized it.  Since then every single time I open it it immediately freezes iand shows the spinning beach ball of death.  I've tried unstalling and reinstalling but every single time it freezes the second I open it.  I can't even deauthorize user if that's the problem. The second I try to enter my password to deauthorize it freezes.  I deauthorized myself from my windows Digital Editions application if that was the problem but it makes no difference.  I can't find an older version of Digital Editions to download.  Help.  I don't want to have to keep using my dinosaur of a WIndows laptop just for when I need to open a book using Digital Editions.

I've downloaded an ebook and created an adobe account which I then used to log into Adobe Digital Editions. It says that my computer is authorized, but when I try to open the book it says "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED". I have checked both my timezone, clock and date, and everything is correct. I tried downloading the book again but the issue remains.

I have looked at several posts and can't find where there has been a solution. I'm trying to highlight text in Adobe Digital Editions. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Other times it is highlighting words a sentence or two before where I wanted it to.Ctrl M doesn't work. I've tried re-starting and that doesn't always work. In trying to find a solution I've noticed a couple of things.1. in some cases it is creating a blank 'note' but has not actually highlighted the words (I've found some cases where I have apparently made multiple 'notes' while trying to highlight same section). Going to the 'note' and deleting 'highlight' makes no difference to ability to highlight.2. Possibly wrong but it seems to dislike highlighting anything in quotes - this includes case references which is tricky when I am trying to study law.Any suggestions on how to fix this greatly appreciated. On image - I was trying to highlight "a Commonwealth statute applies and McNiew would recover"&nbs

I have hundreds of multipage pdf documents that I would like to save out as jpg's files. I know I can convert them individually but if anyone knows a program that could do this for me automatically that would be great

Je parviens à télécharger mon livre emprunté à la médiathèque, je parviens aussi à le lire sur mon ordinateur via ADE, j'arrive à le transférer sur ma liseuse. Mais lorsque je déconnecte ma liseuse et que j'essaie d'ouvrir le livre, j'ai un message stipulant "votre liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livre. Ce livre est protégé par Adobe DRM. Vous devez confirmer l'accès à votre liseuse avec Adobe ID en utilisant ADE". Je précise que:  - j'ai téléchargé ADE (version 4.5) et créé un ID, mon ordinateur et ma liseuse sont autorisés (j'ai suivi correctement la procédure) - je n'ai ce problème qu'avec les livres empruntés à la médiathèque (pas ceux achetés ou gratuits) - je ne rencontre ce problème que depuis quelques mois - j'arrive à télécharger certains livres de la médiathèque mais pas tous - je ne parviens plus à transférer certa

I have 271 books on my computer and KOBO reader that I can't access because my email address changed and it asks for my Adobe ID. It say my ID does not have authorization for the books. I have bought and paid for them and I read them. Now it won't let me.

Hello,I am trying to open a document on Adobe Digital Editions, yet when I do so I receive the following error message, "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: W_ADEPT_CORE_EXPIRED". I double-checked that the date and time on my laptop are up to date.  I also made sure that my laptop is authorized.  I don't know what else to do. If someone could please advise, it  would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.  

I bought 3 ebooks. I opened 2 out of 3 on my ereader (German brand "tolino"). I authorized it there with my Adobe ID. Then I notices some issues and I wanted to check them out on my laptop. I opened the 3rd book via Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 on my Macbook. Out of laziness I clicked "Don't authorize with Adobe ID" or a similar option. I opened the book, checked for errors. Later I noticed I cannot open it on my ereader tolino, i get the errror saying sth along the lines of "license already used by another". I went back to my laptop, check how to copy the book from my laptop to my ereader. I got a "No permission to copy" error. I reauthorized twice my laptop to the same Adobe ID I have for the books on my ereader. I still get the same error. Adobe customer support sent me here, to Adobe Community, for an "expert reply" on the matter after trying out some solutions.Please help, I would like to read this book on my ereader, but now it's openable only on my laptop.

I have made a succesful installation of a compatible version (on a MacBook Pro running MacOS Monterey) but always get: “Unable do download Error getting licence. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY”What can be done to fix this problem? Regards / Lars Hedlind

Ik kan geen e-books meer downloaden. krijg de melding:Communicatieproblemen met licentieserver: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERAlles al geprobeerd, ADM gedeactiveerd, verwijdert, opnieuw geinstalleerd. Zelfs een nieuwe account aangemaakt. Maar niets helpt. Heeft iemand een suggestie hoe ik het kan oplossen?

Since yesterday I my e-book gave an error on my e-reader. I looked in my library and saw that the expiration date was not until two days later. So I googled and could be something wrong with my authorization. So I deleted it and tried to do it again with the same Adobe ID. Nothing. I gives: incorrect login ID or password for the selected ebook vendor.  I changes passwords, uninstalled Adobe Digitale Editions, but really nothing works. I'm not a very technical person. How can this be solved? I'm from the Netherlands and there is no other way we can use e-books from the library without this programme...

When I plug my Kobo into my computer, my computer recognizes that the Kobo has been plugged in but Adobe Digital Editions does not show a Device option. I know from the past it would appear above bookshelves when the device is plugged in. Has this happened to anyone? I just want to transfer Library books!!

I changed my email address longer time ago and it wokred up to now. But today I could not authorize a new eBook reader since one was damaged. I could de-authorize the broken eBook reader.I thought now it would be time to use my actual email address to create a new AdobeID.But I cannot delete the actual authorization in Digital Editions using my old email address.Even if it the same account, just with a new email Adress. Btw. the old email address is still usable.How can I delete the actual authorization and use one with my actual email Address?I already tried to change the email address in the actual Adobe account but this also did not work.

I have an Adobe Account and email.  I use Adobe Digital Editions to load libary books onto my Kobo Reader.  Adobe Digital Editions has a wrong email address associated with my file and I can't remove it.  They call it the Default address but it is different from my Adobe account and it is causing no end of problems.There is no way to change this email address as it is locked in.  There is no customer service for this and so no solution.Does anyone know how to change this default??

Ho scaricato due ebook dal sito feltrinelli. Solitamente apro gli ebook con ADE senza problemi per poi caricarli nel mio ereader. Oggi l'applicazione si apre ma la finestra rimane bianca come se non riuscisse a leggere il file appena scaricato (con DRM). Ho disinstallato e reinstallato un paio di volte l'app e ho pure autorizzato nuovamente l'ID di adobe, ma senza successo. Come posso risolvere il problema? 

Getting this error continuously since yesterday when i tried to open the file in adobe digital editions. I purchased an ebook and tried to open it. I have previously downloaded and opened acsm files in adobe digital editions but since yesterday am getting this error. How to solve this?

Pages are either faded or unreadable. I've deleted and reloaded the Adobe Digital app and the book and it doesn't help. The book and the app work fine on my PC.Even the pre-loaded instruction/introduction manual from ADOBE doesn't display correctly.
