Getting error "Error retrieving Adobe EPUB loan. E_ADEPT_TIMEOUT (error code 1069)" Same issue occurs in Adobe Digital Editions, Kindle, and Android phone. I uninstalled Adobe Digital Edition from my computer cleared the cache and temp files from my browser. Rebooted the system and then downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 form here: Adobe Digital Editions - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com After reinstalling it I allowed me to authorize it and I was able to download my epub from Overdrive.
I uninstalled the Overdrive app from both my Kindle and Android, rebooted them, and then reinstalled the app. They both immediately authorized and started working as normal.
