It's a pity not being able to use Adobe Dimension. Removing the CC from the package and asking for an additional fee is unacceptable. I can't use legacy AD on my M1 computer. The new one is under a different name and is paid. First, it makes you use it, it makes you love it. We produce documents, we see, the program is no longer available, it is not used.

Hi everyone, sundely have this problem when I open a dn File:"There has been a problem causing the application to stop working properly." It just happen with this file and I tried on different computers … its sad because I worked 8 hours an this project. Thank you! Mike

I have absolutely no clue what is going on with this 3D file. In different viewing angles a hard shadow appears as if it is a reflection of sorts. But going through all the different light settings and changing materials, reflectiveness, etc. to try and figure out what is going on, but I can't seem to find the problem. Is this a viewport error (although the problem also occurs when rendering out the image) or is my file somehow corrupt? Also, in the preview, all the lines seem smooth, but rendering an export show all the hard lines and curves. Thanks! R.

I understand Stager exists now but moving to a new computer and trying to get the CC apps i use on there and I can't find a way to get Dimension back on... PLEASE keep this somewhere i can get to it... My company and team are in now way ready to spend an extra $30/user on the 3D tools when most of what is there is too much for what we need. Is there a way!

Hello everyone, I have a problem only when I want to observe a scene that I publish in 3d through dimension, almost a year ago I put it in my portfolio, the same file and link, and it looked very good, now it does not look good, I republished the same 3d scene and the Same mistake, does anyone know what's going on? so, when I attach an illustrator file as a png or ai file on dimension a certain part of is invisible, it looks like someone erased a part of the circle or rectangle as visible in the screenshot. however, the png file and ai file is absolutely clear and good to go. i have tried to reduce the size and attach each element seperately also. however, this doesn't happen if the size of the box and its content is big enough(image attached). idk what to do and why is this happening! 

For simplicity of explanation imagine I have a simple cuboid, produced in Sketchup and brought into Dimension. I wish to apply graphics to all faces using the fairly new Export UV function.Process:- Ingest model- Generate UVs- Export UVs = PSD file- Open PSD in PShop edit as desired and save (overwrite).- In Dimension, apply by "Place graphic on model".Several things often happen here...- Nothing happens i.e. no graphic applied. Object keeps simple default material only.- The PSD is applied but takes no notice of any UV mapping.- The system states there is an error with the file. I can't find a solution nor rhyme or reason to the results of trials. Thanks for any thoughts. Mac (fully up to date), DImension (also fully up to date).

Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a good day. For the past few weeks, I have been working on a 3d model in dimension and was just about finished with it the other day, but when I went to open the saved file it would not open (see attached screenshot for details). I have tried everything I can think of at this point, restarting my mac, updating my mac, uninstalling dimension and reinstalling. If you know what might be causing this problem please let me know, and thank you in advance!

Hi there!If i place delal on some object it shows inside same as outside. Like on transparent material. But material is not transparent (papper, 4 example).That is what i mean: Any suggesions?

Version 3.4.3 brought the breakthrough. 😉I had the issue that the work area always stayed black. I could place objects there, but they were not visible.Now, starting Dimensions CC after the last update, I'd got a message asking me whether I'd like to use the GPU. And, badabing, suddenly it worked as it should.I have the idea that the solution came with Substance 3D Stager. I installed Substance, and I had the same issues as Dimension CC: with the NVIDIA Quattro P2200, I couldn't see anything in the working area. Sometimes Substance just froze.I assume that the fix for Dimension CC came because of the issues with Substance.A Quattro P2200 not working with Dimension CC is not that important. But when this GPU doesn't work with a new product, Adobe likes to earn good money, priorities change.Nevertheless, the fix made its way to Dimension CC, and after 6 months, I can use that software for the first time👍

Hi there, I have this simple floor plan in Sketchup, when I import it to Dimensions it looks like this. I tried to export as obj but got the same result. How can I fix this?

I tried to sign in and out multiple times, searched everything but this error keeps popping up.

hello, can someone please help me, so i installed dimension a while ago and it worked fine but today it got stuck so i deleted it and i wanted to download it again but it doesnt show up in my apps anymore, i cant find it anymore please help. yours sincerely, shantel

I am currently using a 2017 MacBook Pro with a 2.8GHZ Quad Core i7 and Raedon Pro 555 2GB and Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB. This has been a great machine for a lot of the 3D work I've done in Dimensions but I still find that at times it's not enough (and my computer sounds like it's either going to take off or freezes mid-render). Wondering if anyone has recommendations for a new MacBook Pro that might render more quickly or without those issues.

I want to embed some 3D models into a website, but am having trouble keeping any textures. I can bring down the opacity to mimic the glass transparency, but it would be great if I could keep the texture to some level of render quality.If someone could let me know if it is possible to maintain textures when publishing a 3D scene I would be forever grateful!

Hello,I created a Store in Adobe Dimension. Now I want to visualize clothes in this Shop. I have the Garments as 2d photos cut out in .psd. I want to place them in the 3D store to make screenshots from different perspectives.How can I edit them, that they look like they are 3D?Can I just create a z-dimension für these cut-out photos? And how can I do it, in Photoshop or Dimension?

Hi, for a few months now i've been unable to upload anything into the 3D library feature in Dimension, i can add things from them but i can not add to them at all. Anytime i try to it is simply greyed out or adds a color and not the models i'm wanting to add in. Has anyone else come accross this?

Hi there, I'm trying to show off a mockup of a print design in Dimension, but I'm running into trouble with trying to layer designs and materials.  The design will have a base color, then a layer with a few elements of color pop which will have a layer spot gloss, then a design in foil.   Each of these layers are designed in illustrator, and I was able to add each design to a plane object as a material element.  But, I wasn't able to add any texture or material to any of those layers, it only ever applied to the object itself.  So I tried putting each element layer on its own plane object, but I couldn't figure out how to make the object itself transparent, and only apply the material to the design element.   Is what I'm hoping to do even possible?  

I'm trying to add a product label to my object, which is a square jar that is supposed to be a spice jar. I tried various methods, but overall, I selected "place Graphic on Model" under the "jar" scene. I then selected the image and it appears like below. I even dragged and dropped from my library and tried a stock photo as well. All of the images act as fills that are repeating rather than a decal.  I created the 3D object on Autodesk Fusion 360 and exported it as an object file and a fbx file. Neither worked. I'm not sure what the problem/solution is, any help is greatly appreciated.

We are a System Integrator and one of our customers use Adobe Dimension.His file sizes are very big and his system memory is 32GB. He initially had issues opening 6.6GB files however with the bugfix rutine that was available it was avoided. However the memory usage touches 98% during the load of the file and moving the image after that takes a longer time. He needs to enhance the image by introducing another image which is 3.5GB in to this file. However due to lack of memory it does not work.We like to know if there is a way to calculate the memory needed based on the file size. Attached is the image of memory usage.  

Hello, I have a company account for creative cloud and I can't install Adobe Dimension 😞 it seems removed from the creative cloud in favour of the substance painter... which is sad. I only looked at some learning videos and I kinda felt it would be nice to use. Is there any way to install it even though Adobe removed it from the cloud? Thanks in advance, V.

I want export a file with adobe dimension and i can't do anything there is always a problem to export...it's really annoying !help !!

Hi there, you announced with the release of Substance that Dimension will continue to be included in the All-App plans.What about the single subscriptions???? We have several of them.

Is there a way to export higher resolutions out of Dimension? When I export anything other than .DN for use in other applications such as obj, gltf, everything is compressed due to the nature of the file types. Decals are exporting no bigger than 500 x 500px 72dpi (in a 2048 canvas). Adjusting the canvas settings in AD doesn't make a difference.
