Can I apply more than one material to an object? For example, I have a cube and would like one face of the cube to have a different material than the other faces.

Team,I'm seeing if our company (discover with Dr. Cool) can use Dimensions for Point of Sale assemblies.I'm brand new but completed the Lynda.com Dimension Essential Training: The Basicsand need to know where to find out how to set the resolution and size of my artwork so that it "comes in to scale". it is all glitchy. This is a 5' structure and the I can't get artwork onto it accurately...When I assign an image to be the material, it is not at all precise in placement. Matching the die-line to the art proves impossibleWhen I apply a decal (actual size 2'x3') there are only giant pixels appearing and the render preview just blurs them.There must be information about how to size my artwork to properly import into Dimension.

Hello,According to the Adobe web product site... they indicate that Dimension cc currently supportsimporting the following formats shown below.  Is it possible that an update has occurred whichnow allows it to import glTF/glb file formats?  i.e. and if not, can anyone share if they know it isthe works for a future release?Dimension lets you import Autodesk FBX, STL, Sketchup SKP, and OBJ files.

I need help with a strange graphic application distortion.The below image is part of a model from Sketchup. It has a deep cut which is seemingly affecting the way the graphic behaves when applied. The graphic is exactly the same size and shape as the model (tried as transparent png and jpg), so it should perfectly cover the whole side. Instead it is being distorted by an invisible diagonal line between the bottom corners and the internal curves.I created a super simple but similar shape to test with with the same results. Any ideas welcome.Thanks all

Hello! I need help! I am trying to essentially wrap this graphic around the bag to give effect of black on black. The bag would be matte black, while the graphic would be glossy. I'd also have variations of the bag so the side panels would be bold contrasting colors, while the front remains the traditional black on black print. So I want to format the graphic to the correct dimensions so it is proportional to each plane.

Hello,if I paste a jpg or a Vektor file put on a 3D object its get pixelated and does not get sharp.What could be the reason there for?Did you made the same experience?Thank you for your reply.

Hi everyoneWhen I had Dimension V1.0 installed it worked perfectly/After the update to V2.0 it starts to launch and then nothing.I have done all the necessary i.e:1. Uninstalled using Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool2. Manually removed all preferences and references to old files3. Reinstalled etc etcNo luck. Hello,I'm having some trouble getting my flat dieline to apply properly to the model.  No matter how many times I try the flat file will not wrap properly around the model.  I try to scale and move the outline up to fit and even scale the model down, but nothing seems to work.  I ended up just placing each side on separately, which works for now but I need to know why it's not working.  Is there a specific file type that the dieline needs to be in?  Is there a better/more specific way to ensure that the model is the correct size other than the x y z?Please help!!Best,Ashley

I was working in a poly-heavy document and when I tried to save Dimensions popped up a "There was an error saving this file..." I figured it was due to it being very VRAM heavy so I shut down every app in my computer besides Dimensions. It could be saved.But now everytime I try to pop that save file up it gets stuck at "Loading... 90%" without moving forward. It is a document I invested hours in and would love to get it back. This is not the first time it occurs. At this rate the 7-day trial has convinced me not to get this software until it's much, much, better developed and the basic troubles are fixed.

Hello,I am attempting to put furniture into an empty scene, but the render quality is not great. There seems to be a lot of noise interference in the shadows. I have tried Low and High resolution, as well as shrinking the canvas size but same results occur. This is a pretty heavy render but is there any way to smooth this out? All furniture is from Google Sketchup models with Adobe materials applied.

When I import a image (in this case a designed letterhead paper) the graphic doesn't take on the curved form from the curved plane.. it stays flat. How can I get it to take the shape of the 3D model?

In the properties panel, some propoerties don't show up (I don't have interior, shape and textures options). Do you know why is that?2. I exported my .dae file and converted it using Strata and then Photoshop to an .obj which I then imported into Dimension.The carton is fine until I apply my graphic. For some reason the outside graphic shows through on the inside.Also, is there a way to apply a graphic to the inside panel? This particular carton has different graphics inside and outside on the same panel.Any suggestions?

Hi,I've encountered a problem when rendering a transparent label on glass material. As a result, I get a white stroke around all objects with a transparent background. My png24 file is super clean, high-res and has no stroke. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? I've been working with numerous 3d apps and never had this issue.

Hello,I am having trouble selecting and editing an image once it's places on a model in Dimension. Once I import a graphic and deselect it, its permantly on the model. Is there a way to reselect it once its in place?

Hello friends, I am looking for help with CC Dimension, I am using it in windows 10 and when rendering any project my PC stops working. From one moment to the next without warning, it shuts down but the processor is still connected and the PC lights too, the monitor stops working.I already did the test to see if it was a problem of the monitor but no, the computer really stops working although the processor is still prearranged. This is very strangeDoes anyone know what will happen? Thank you

Hello,I have used some Illustrator files and placed them in the Library to use as a 'material' to put on a box. It started off fine and the sides of the box looked fine after dropping them in straight away. After a while the display looked fuzzy and when i render, it actually renders like what I see. What is the issue?

Hello I would like to resize a book in 3D without changing the size of the cover. For example, here the coverage is not wide enough for the model. But if I reduce the width of the 3D model, the coverage is reduced as well. Can not find how! You help me? Thank you !!

H i there, my problem ist this one: i have built 24 bottles of beer, all with the same lable-textutre.I want to change one lable and my intention is, that all other lables change automatic. A is you duplicate an smart object in Photoshop. If you change p. e. the color, the other object changes the color too. I don't want to texture each bottle. I have a 3D scene I am trying to publish. It worked flawlessly when I ran a test a few days ago. After I continued to work on the project and applied AI vector graphics to some of the objects, the "Publish 3d Scene" no longer works for me. It loads and loads, but never saves or generates a public link. I do realize this is a BETA feature, but does anyone have some suggestions on what may be causing this or how to get it to work again?
