Is it possible to prevent someone from viewing the contents of the webpage (partial or full) until a certain date and time? For example, if i have a webpage with a link, but only want that link on the webpage to be viewed at a certain start date and time, is this possible? Thank you!

As the title states, the software will crash when attempting to open "Preferences" Edit -> Preferences -> CRASH. It started happening after the latest update. I have already cleaned the temp files in the registry and resetting the Dreamweaver's systems preferences. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone expand on the issue, please? Thank you, Regards,Newton

Hello, I am a associate/junior Developer and I just updated the new version on dreamweaver. I am working on my website and updating a few of my pages. This is the challenge I am experiencing. Since the new update I can no longer use the old codes for uploading a video mp4 and put it up so I can refresh my website. I need help!! Can someone please guide me or help me with the new code for a PC . Thank you!!  

My computer's processor is 1.60 GHz, not 2 GHz, it is 32bit processor, and resolution is 1600 xm900 x 60 hertz. Can I run the current Dreamweaver and if not what version can I use on this computer?

Due to the ending support for brackets since september 2021, which alternative code editor will be implemented instead? Any ideas? Thank U.

Hi can anyone tell me how to replace a background banner (the mountain pic)- just starting off. I have inspect it and see the image is saved as a url. How would I save a URL on a server? Format source code automatically removes blanks lines. Get that it makes code smaller...I'd like to learn how to keep the blank for code in development and readability sake.Under code formatting preferences can keeping blank line numbers be set?

I am trying to create a web page with interactivity related to each "lot" on the map.  I have a Photoshop file with each lot as a layer, but slicing simply creates "squared" regions opposed to the exact shape of the lot. What is the best CC App to use for this (if any)?  Or...is this a Wordpress (that's what I'm using) Plugin that would be best used for this?  I hate that I have the layers already in existence, but can't just easily create hotspot maps from these 😕😕 (or at least, I don't know how).

Hi,The website I currently work on has a section where I need to send a schedule to customers.  I fill the fields (activity, start time, end time, etc..) and it generates a schedule.  Right now It sends this schedule as an HTML email.  It looks really nice, but my boss wants that is sends a PDF attachment instead.  I looked on the web for answers but couldn't find anything satisfying. Any ideas ? Thanks 

I have Dreamweaver CC 2021 running and using xanpp local server with Apache and MySQL running. When I try to use Live View all I get is a blank/white window. When I preview the same file in a browser it displays properly.  Any solutions appreciated!

Hi, I'm using DW 21.1 on Mac' Big Sur OS.  I've always been able to copy and paste Word Files into DW with all their formatting, but now they are arriving as a little blank square that when clicked provides the following message: "Marked Invalid Because It Does Not Belong in the Tag Tha It's In.  Go The Code To Correct The Problem."   I looked at the code, but I'm not well versed in HTML and did not know what to do.  How can I correct this problem.   [MODERATOR REMOVED URL AND PHONE NUMBER]

If anyone can glance at my site and advise me on rollover a better setting, that would be much appreciated! Here's an individual page:http://www.crossboardcreative.com/retouch/pages/poststreet/poststreet.htmAs you can see, I have a note at the top that tells mobile users to "tap insdie/outside the photo" to see the before/after versions. I would hope there's a way to allow the user to simply touch the image repeatedly to switch back and forth between the 2 images, rather than touching on the grey area which falls outside the rollover hotspot. I don't know how to revise things to achieve this, and I sure hope it's even doable!! I have looked around at various turn-key services (Wix, etc.) but I've never seen anyone who offers this exact type of simple rollover. All they seem to offer is the kind of mobile device rollover wherein you have to drag a little bar across the image to reveal the alternate image. And this method is definitely what I can't use. I am a student,   I am trying to take the small animation that I just created in Adobe Animate CC and put it in Dreamweaver so I can make a website.  The code works in the split part of dreamweaver but when I go to try it in the browser it is just a white page.  I will post my entire code at the bottom. "EXPECTED RBRACE"- within my CSS file- how to fix it?

Hi all,I'm using Adobe Dreamweaver Version 21.1 Build 15413. I tried to optimize (crop, resize, ...) images with the Property inspector but the tools are gone and I don't know how to enable it or where to find... My picture is a standard jpg but I also tried it out with gif and png. Same result! The only Icon/Butto for picture edit I have is the PS Edit symbol/button.The rest like "Edit Image Setting", "Update from Original", "Crop", "Resample", "Brighness And Contrast", "Sharpen" is not visible and there .... I check DW settings to enable those buttons/capability but failed. Do you know what happens? Was it removed from DW? How can I enable this standard build-in functionality? Is it a bug from current DW version? Thank you so much for your help and answer beforehand! Cheers,Markus

When I run Tools/Clean up HTML and empty tags are reported, I click to allow DW to "clean" it but always get the error message "Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded." This error message has been discussed in this Dreamweaver forum, but not related to the "Clean up HTML" issue. Pages will have different empty tag issues. I try to not let that happen, but it happens.  Would love for this tool to work.  Thoughts?

Dreamweaver has become very frustrating over the past few years. You would think that if one pays a monthly subscription, it would be common sense for Adobe to provide in-depth training. Having clients with different needs, we have to often look for solutions outside of Dreamweaver. Is there any valid reason for sticking with Dreamweaver ?

A file like "error_log" is often found on a server where php is used and there is no way to open it by clicking on it.Since it does not have an extension, there is no way to add it under file types.This has been an issue forever and was never implemented or fixed. I am using version 21.1

The current version of dreamweaver (and many other apps) is incompatable with my system. Are there older versions available to download on the creative cloud desktop app?

I just transferred my old Dreamweaver site (CS3) over to Dreamweaver 2021.All seems working pretty well as I'm getting used to the new version.. however, one issue:For uploading files to my server… When I Command-click a file and choose "Put" in the dropdown menu, it tells me that it has uploaded successfully, but it actually does not upload or overwrite the older file already on the server. As a test, I also have manually deleted the older file on the server, and it still won't upload the new file. And here's what's peculair: With the local and remote servers in side-by-side, I can do a drag-and-drop of the file over to the remote server, and it works! So this is telling me that the connection is established - - or, I would think so. Any advice, thanks much!Brian

I'm having trouble inserting bootstrap components such as carousel in Dreamweaver, I'm receiving a notification that claims "While executing objectTag inresponsiveCarousel.htm, a Javascript error occurred." I have tried using a new template and file to see if the issue is consistant, which it did remain and obtain the same error. I have tried locating the trouble shoot, however the output reads, "Cannot lint the code. Click here for troubleshooting", which nothing happene.
