I had to reinstall Windows 10 and download the latest version of Dreamweaver.  I restored all my files, and created a new site, which was actually my old site, but now my javascripts are not working.  They worked fine before.  Is there some setting that enables javascripts?

Hello all, I'm an old-school designer (HTML) and I know how to do basic back end coding. But by the time I became and Internet Creative Director (former life, now I just do print and web freelance work), I had a team that did the coding -- I never got the hang of CSS and certainly don't have the skills to work on adaptive sites -- my current client uses an ipad, I use an Android Tablet -- and of course there's different sizes of mobile, tablets etc. I looked online for some tutorials and just don't have the time or skill to design for tablets when people rotate them, and mobile...etc etc. Does anyone know of templates that have floating code or whatever is needed for adaptive design? ftp 활용해서 사이트 수정할때 특히 렉이 엄청나네요.커서 움직일때마다 2~5초씩 딜레이 발생하는데, 혹시 해결하신분 계신가요??

I am running Dreamweaver 2020 20.2 on a Mac (Catilina 10.15.5).  U have been attempting to view my webpages (php files) in MAMP (5.5), and have been getting strange and unpredictable results. To debug, I deleted the definitions for bthe Test Server I had setup, and recreated it.  When I did, I got the message that tge cache bwas being cleared,  When this completed, I opened the Test Server, and the problem has been fixed. Myh question is: exactly werer are these cache files stored. Thanks ahead of time...  

Is there any way to keep code hinting on screen longer?When typing a function, it is handy to see the expected parameters for a given function. Unfortunately, Dreamwaver closes the hint immediately without any key press.Any way to extend the amount of time the hint remains visible?  

Does anybody out there know how to kick Dreanwaver in the butt and get it to perform like a real piece of software?   I'm 81 and I don't want to be found dead over the keyboard.   Please don't tell me "slow as whalepoop" is a feature.   A virtual Reese's Peanut Butter Cup to the wise individual that has an answer to this problem   (that ought to embarass the hell out of Adobe)

あまりDreamweaverのgitとチェックイン機能は相性が良くないような気がしてますが両方使うのは問題ないでしょうか？というのもDreamweaverで複数人で開発する際、長らく共用サーバーのリモートネットワークからチェックイン機能を使ってローカルにデータを落としてきて作業をしていました。(他の人が同ファイルを編集できないように)ただ、ローカルではDreamweaverのgit機能も使いたいと思い利用してみたのですが、リモートネットワークと同期する際に、リモートサーバー上にはないローカルファイルを削除にチェックを入れてしまうと隠しファイルのgitの設定まで削除されてしまうようです。隠しファイルgitの設定関連は削除しないようにする設定は無いのでしょうか？(添付画像参照)また、隠しファイルのためgitの設定を共用サーバーにputすることはないとは思いますがputする可能性はありますでしょうか？回答、宜しくおねがいします。

After updating Dreamweaver, my paragraphs in my html files are now surrounded by an <a> that connects to the linked image above the text.  This tag isn't written into the code, but when you hover over the text in Live View, it shows as a gray box.  The extra code is showing up on my live website, creating links where they shouldn't be, and it has to go.  Please help!

Hi All, I am a beginner to Dreamweaver but have been following a tutorial. I have created a template created an editable region which is "main."  I have created a new index.html which is linked to my template. Initially when I saved the document the editable region wasn't activated so did it by going to - tools -> template ->apply the template to the page. After saving it a few times it doesn't activate an editable region and I can't "apply the template to the page." Does anyone know how I can keep the editable the only region activated?   

The bDreamweaver 2020 on a Mac is not always doing what I need it to (example: adding a new test server... it somehow remembers old ones that I have deleted).  Yesterday I deleted Dreamweaver from ky Mac and, went through Finer abd deleted azll instances of the word 'Dreamweaver', emptied the trash and ran First Aid.  I then reinstalled Dreamweaver, went to define new servers and the old are still known (I can reopen them in Site > Manage). How can I completely remove every trace of Dreamweaver 2020 so I can start fresh.

I ran it through the w3c validator and I'm getting no errors from the page.The issues I'm running into right now is that on the mobile layout for the site, I have a button implemented that should make a dropdown menu appear upon clicking it, but for some reason nothing happens when I click it. The button appears on both phone and tablet layouts of the page.Another issue I'm having is that I want to make the Pay Now button, and the Customer Reviews section on the page 100% in width, and I want them to be centered, but usingvar default_width = "100%";var outer_width = "100%";in the javascript doesn't seem to work. Also, using <div style="text_align:center"></div> and <p style="text_align:center"></p> didn't seem to work when attempting to center those sections.Does anyone here know a solution for this? I like lots of  blank lines between chunks of my code but source formatting command removes them all!  I looked at the tag libraries but cannot see how that could help me as it's just about how lines break up before and after tags.  My blank lines are not tags so cannot be changed here.  Am I alone in wanting blank lines to space out my code for readability?

Hi, I am coding simple email HTMLs and it is close to impossible to do anything within Dreamweaver. It takes so much patience to simply type or edit a nested table like I'm working in a beatup 386 computer. It's even worse than writing code in a 386 computer. I've already turned off Code Hints and Code Rewriting to no avail. 

How is it possible to create a "card" with the Bootstrap framework that is entirely clickable. I am able to create a basic Card that has links attached to the images inside the card, or the buttons inside the card however I need to be able to have the entire area of the Card be clickable. I have tried wrapping the Card with various tags to apply Href links to but none of that seems to work. I do not see anything in the Bootstrap documentation stating how to do so. Thank you. 

Hi all - let me first say I am NOT a web developer by any means, and have learned the bare minimum out of necessity so apologies if this is a silly question.I’m having a very annoying problem with Dreamweaver. I have 4 pages and in the same folder of my SharePoint site, i.e.,web1/folder/Home.htmlweb1/folder/About.htmlweb1/folder/Events.htmlweb1/folder/Series.html Each page links to the other 3 via straightforward URL, not even in a fancy navigation menu or anything, just anchor links.I made changes to Series.html, and then I discovered that the link to Series.html on Home.html had been changed to web1/folder/3addbb9 (does not end in .html). I did not make this change.Further, if I fix the link on Home.html, then the link to Home.html on the Series.html page changes to another random number...why is this happening?! It seems as if Dreamweaver is updating the URLs for any page I make changes to I don't want that to happen. Anyone run into this?

Hi, When trying to install Dreamweaver I get an error code 183. When then selecting learn more, it points me to XD info and troubleshooting not Dreamweaver. All my other adobe cloud products work and I really do not want to uninstall them all, as I use them a lot and be worried I start getting problems with them too. I am an admin on my computer and installed all other products, like illustrator, photoshop, xd without a problem. Did anybody else had this problem before and know how to fix it?Thanks, Claudia

I'm new to web creation. When I check my work offline with Firefox it has to have the drive and directory included in links to find them. It seems to me that, when it goes online, this information will cause problems as it won't be present. Any comments would be appreciated.

Double word spacing has been randomly appearing in Dreamweaver v 19 and 20. html doc. I have uninstalled and reinstalled different versions. I am copying from Microsoft 365-there are no hidden characters. I am working off desktop app.How do I get the random double spacing removed? This recently started happening. Ideas?

Can someone help me improve my coding on this site? The index is https://www.deercrossingtreestands.com. I would like to add the feature for a menu icon (3 horizontal bars inside a button) for mobile device viewing. I may not be describing this clearly. Some sites, instead of the full nav bar being shown tiny on a cell phone, they make a menu icon that you open to see the display in a bigger format...   Just not sure how to add that to an exsiting site.    Any help would be appreciated.
