We have an issue where we're dependent on pushing Excel spreadsheets for sitewide updates. The issue I'm having is the 32k character limit for a single cell and a few pages blow that limitation out of the water. What would fix the problem is having a way to dynamically attach the long path to the file while only having the file name in the actual href.Example?<a href="https://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/2Documents/Marketing/Catalogs/English/IndexedCatalog/xxxxx/xxxxxx.pdf"> If I could maybe have a class that would add the path and just have the file name?I'm not a programmer and know just enough to get myself into trouble.

On my dreamweaver at the screen sizes are not matching to actual screen sizes from different computers. It is not showing at all the same display.

Hi all,I have tried a few of the Dreamweaver themes, and many look nice, however I am having one particular issue with the cursor:When a text area is highlighted, and you move the cursor through the highlighted region, on some themes it's very hard to see against the background. Is there any way to adjust the cursor so it is easier to see (against the background) – Such as changing the color and/or changing the width of the cursor or something like that? Any suggestion for themes that do not have this issue would be helpful also. (solarized light seems pretty good) Thanks - dave  

I have tried launching dreamweaver cs5.5 on a new laptop with windows 10 and although it appears to have downloaded when I launch the screen doesn't display as it should - as it did on windows 7. Everything is much smaller and not readable 

I've been using Wampserver 2.5 on my Windows 7 computer successfully for years to preview PHP files in browser from Dreamweaver.I just bought a Windows 10 laptop, and installed Dreamweaver (19.2.1), imported the sites, and installed the latest version of Wampserver, 3.1.9.Everything works, except that images do not display in Live view (they do display in Design view), or when I preview in browser.The console in Inspect element in browser lists a 404 for every image, although the image exists, and the path is correct.It's probably some setting in Wampserver, but I have no idea where to look for it, and can't find anything relevant online.My understanding of testing servers is very limited, but I can follow directions, if someone know hows to fix this. Thanks.

I have the Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2019 through graduate school Stevenson University and I can not find the Dreamweaver templates that are already created by Dreamweaver.  

Problem:Essentially what I'm trying to accomplish is a semi-opaque rounded rectangle that just fits the navigation bar, extending in from the right side of the screen no farther than a fex px past the text when the longest list item is expanded by 150% while hovered. Just a little something to make the navigation bar readable over the page content, but I don't want it to cover the whole top of the screen. Background Info:On my website I have a fixed header, right floated. The text stays a few px from the edge of the screen no matter the size, which is exactly what I want. I am currently having a tough time finding a way to find a responsive solution to the problem of the header background only extending far enough past the navigation menu to allow the text in the header to expand.So far I have tried keeping the header at 100% width and making the div .nav_container only as big as it needs to be, then aligning it to the right side of the page using margins as both px and

I went to Site Management Advanced tab and clicked upload to local server box and saved.  Then, after that failed to show results on local site.  I restarted DW and still does not uppload changes upon saving in DW.  I still have to go Files Menu select file and upload to Mamp.  In the Files Menu the connection to local server is on.  Does not work with just a save in DW...  Anybody know what is wrong

In Dreamweaver CC 2017, I recently went to preferences simply to change background colour on screens to lighter grey as the default was too dark.The minute I did this and clicked 'apply', all of the code text turned to upper case throughout. I now cannot change it back. Any clues?

When I am in code view, there the tools are, when switch to SPLIT VIEW, I can select the rectangle tool in the properties panel, but as soon as I click onto the image, GONE.

I just updated to Dreamweaver 19.2 and while I can get the Properties toolbar to show up - - it is floating and I can't remember how to dock it at the bottom.  Anyone willing to humor me with a solution?  Thanks.(Double clicking it doesn't work)

Is there a way to get Dreamweaver to only search in php files or another given file type, ignoring all other file types?

When I began using Dreamweaver it was called UltraDev. I had previously installed Drumbeat trial but only looked around and did not like it. It was a kind of code generator with had no code view and no way to know what you had built until you completed the project and generated the site, From this inferior product came Macromedia's UltraDev which became one of the best IDEs on the market. Then Adobe bought it because their IDE effort was a floundering train wreck. I remember having a sinking feeling about Dreamweaver's future and the thought: "I'm going to have to learn Visual Studio." At the time I was actively creating and selling extensions for the Dreamweaver MX ASP.NET implementation and was heavily invested in the Dreamweaver ecosystem.My bad feeling about the future of Dreamweaver as an Adobe product has born bitter fruit. The last version of Dreamweaver I will ever purchase was CC 2014. And I regretted it almost immediately. And the CC SAAS is a supreme rip-off. As a Microsoft

I'm having an issue where I'm editing an HTML email template, and Dreamweaver sometimes removes the paragraph formatting and the content of hyperlinks. The link will still have the <a> tag, but the actual href content vanishes. Same for the paragraph style. The <p> tag is still there, but the style has vanished. Has anyone else experienced this, and what causes it?

Completed an overhaul of our existing website with DW. Trying to publish to remote server, but can't seem to see it. I get this message when I put in the site address "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.Apache Server at www.newavenues.ca Port 80"Can anyone steer me on the right path?

Site looks fine on screen using DW 19.2 CC. Using a mac mini with system 10.14.6 and DW in spit view. Can highlight lines in live view, and can highlight lines in code view. Cannot edit text or links in either view! Highliting in either view does not show up in other view at same time. Help?!

I'm trying to find a solution to embed our 3d models on each product page to enable the user to rotate, zoom and view the model however they need to, but not have to host the files on someone else server. The solution found here is EXACTLY what we're looking for, but I'd like the option to point to our existing files hosted on our servers as they're updated every night. Thoughts?
