I just updated to Dreamweaver 2019 and now all the basic objects in JavaScript (e.g. document, window, alert, XMLHTTPRequest, etc.) are no longer defined. Lines that reference any JavaScript object have errors like, "ERROR: 'document' is not defined. [no-under]". What happened?

Is there align text on an image so that it appears on the center left or center right side of an image?  I was also wondering what code I should write if I want to align text between the center and left side of an image or the center and right side of an image?

Hello all;I found this website showing mouse-over effect written in J Query.jQuery Mouseover Effect with Parallax Style Tutorial - freshDesignweb I don't know where to start, how do I design an image in a way that the scripts are able to move those parts in the image independently in different direction as you move the mouse within image boundary?I also found another demo "see screen shot below", when you move the mouse over an image, the shoe will move closer toward me and the text on the left just moves around as you move the mouse inside the image.Can you please explain.Thanks.

Der Dateiupload via FTP funktioniert bei V19.0.1 nicht mehr.Es werden bei der Syncronisiation mit dem Webserver auch keine neuen Dateien erkannt.

I've watched a few videos on using the Fluid Grid and am concerned about modifying the grid with all the warnings I've heard.I was trying to get my form centered on my screen but wanted to make sure I didn't break something in the process by editing the wrong .css file or .div tag. Should I create a new .css file and modify that and leave the defaults alone or if not which default .css file would be OK to modify without fear of breaking the FG?Thanks,

My environment is setup pretty simply, both TEST and PROD point to the same place in the site configuration. I know they should be different, the problem I'm having is I accidentally chose to "Put" a directory of files and CS6 deleted the files instead of doing nothing as I would assume it should do since PROD and TEST are the same.Is there a location where files are temporarily stored that I might be able to retrieve my work or am I out of luck?Thanks,

Hallo,if I paste (ctrl+V) some content in multiple cursors editing mode, this is pasted only on the first cursor position and other cursors disappear. In Brackets the some working correctly (there is possible paste into all cursor positions and all cursors are still in place after that).I think, it is probably bug - or I missed something?(Windows 10, DreamWeaver 2019, code editing panel)Miloslav

Hi, I am working with a local server. On live view, after editing something, a text... whatever, usually appears a gray color line around the div (or container) I just edited, blocking me for any addition edit. Suddenly I see a message saying that something is "WORKING ON THE SERVER..." and I should wait...? What does it mean? Do I have to wait for the server to complete some tasks behind in order to have my content again able to be edited? What should I do when I see that gray line that doesn't allow me edit more? This happens on Live View. Thanks for your patience.

I have a question as I'm testing out workflows which will see me now using json data returned from a json file converted from a php file database query.It seems anyone looking at the source code - process_json_data.php - can be viewed directly, revealing the json data. Don't worry I won't be using json for any sensitive information such as passwords/usernames and email address. However say I have a delivery business and I want to allow users to keep up-to-date with an order progress - aint it infringing the personal information regulations if the json file shows what was ordered, by who, at what time, price, the route of the delivery and the final address of the delivery, I think so.Is there a workflow which allows the php file to process and convert into json data but show nothing if a user goes directly to the proccesing page?HummOs.

Ok here goes we jsut created our site and put it up live last night and all looked fine.today when i look at one of the fonts are not displaying correctly on some browsers.i've used three different browsers and three separate machines on three different networks.the first pic is what im getting on some browsersthe second pic is what it should beSo im at a loss as to whats causing. any help would be awsome im pulling what hair i have left out. is it a css issues or something that happend when dreamweaver updated today

I've been asked to look after a website that was created years ago using Dreamweaver and Flash CS5.  It's been updated infrequently and the creator only ever updated the original files using CS5.  There are a few animated .swf banners that were created in Flash CS5 for which I have the original .fla files.  Of course the problem is flash is not well supported anymore.I'm a print designer and unfortunately have very little experience with coding.  I'm planning on changing that and to design a new website in a few months time to replace the one I've been asked to curate, but right now I'm hoping to find a way to prolong the current website by replacing the flash animated banners on the website with HTML5 compatible versions.I have access to CS5 Master Suite and I've also purchased Animate CC.  In my bliss-less ignorance I was hoping to convert the CS5 Flash animated banners in Animate CC and drop the resulting file into Dreamweaver CS5 exactly where the original

I finally got to log in with my chosen host.  Now, I'm trying to create a subfolder within my public_html folder to put my provisional web design (and hopefully others). I managed to "Put" my files up, I could delete unwanted junk, and move them into already existing folders, but not create a new one?  Is there a command I'm missing?Thank you all. 

Hi,I am trying to use Find and Replace tool to add a tag after another start tag, namely, I want to add <sup> tag after start tag <a>.As a result, however, Dreamweaver inserts <sup></sup> pair. I don't want it because I have a content inside the <a> tag and I want to use another find and replace tour (Add Before Closing Tag option) to add a </sup> before closing </a>. So that I embrace the content of <a> with <sup>.I disabled automatic tag closing in Dreamweaver but this doesn't help. Would appreciate any hints how to resolve this annoying behavior.Peter

Hi.New to DW CC and saw the themes. I like the dark theme except that for some reason, if I open an existing file from my site, the background of the design view is dark grey making it hard to read the text etc. If I change the theme, it changes too. If I open a new page, it's fine. White background and everything else is dark.Any idea on how to resolve this?

I am using dreamweaver CC 2018. And bootstrap to create a roll-over menu. In http:// the roll-over menu operates well. But in https:// the roll-over button does not operate. Example: http://topworld.center operates  well. But in https://topworld.center  the roll-over menu does not operate. How can I make the rollover menu in bootstrap work in SSL / https:// in dreamweaver CC 2018?

Hi,I scan it, I have everything enabled accordingly, and nothing happens. Also, as curious, I put the generated URL (adobe.ly....) on the browser on the desktop, and also nothing happens, the screen remains totally white. I have the same network and I am using local server. Does it something to do? The json file I saved on "..../es_ES/Configuration" first and then I created a file called en_US/Configuration following the instructions of the adobe tutorial. Or is there any outside solution for this? Thank U.

I'm wondering if anyone has a fix for the missing invisible elements from the design view window when you have chosen to view invisible elements? If I choose either of the two dark app themes the icons are invisible. They're visible on the two lighter app themes. I saw a question from June last year but it was marked as answered but the problem still persists. Any ideas? Is there are way to edit the UI ourselves or make our own app themes? I know I can create custom code colouring but what about app themes?

My Hidden Elements are checked on but the icon does not show in design view. I am on a PC and have updated to Dreamweaver 18.2, 10165 Build

I purchased a copy of DW CS5 back in 2012 when in college. Now I'm back at college again and will like to have it since my old computer is long gone. I still have serial number and purchase numbers. I can't seem to find a way to download cs5. Is no longer in my order History. Will downloading DW CC work using the serial number From CS5. Please if anyone can help me out or tell me where to go will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have had to reinstall my computer because someone managed to access my computer after finding out my Adobe username and password. They then pretended to know all my passwords.I scratch rebuilt my pc so that drivers and malware were removed and this has resulted in my DW - CS6 being reset to factory default installation.I am only doing a website for my brother and a personal art website so I do not want to have to repurchase all my extensions.I installed DMX updater and reinstalled Bootstrap3 which I was using but this does not appear to be working as it does not show in my extensions manager.The problem is that I already have a website designed with Bootstrap3 and have pulled up that website folder which has all the bootstrap files in it.However the DW CS6 interface will not show the design as I am working on it and anything which starts to use bootstrap just disappears from the design pane.I have been asked to transfer to WordPress but I prefer to stick with Dreamweaver as WP seems
