Hello! I am having trouble making my phone number larger in a shared template. The link is shared at the top of all of my pages. When I try editing the font size it doesn't work. Any suggestions for code? I tried putting the font size in both but it's not working. First, thank you to those who responded to my previous post about viewing a new webpage in DW. I am learning HTML and DW. I am trying to do a grid layout. I got a rudimentary piece of code, both the HTML and the CSS, from a book. It worked fine. But, later in the book, when it is talking about advanced topics such as named grid areas, it tends to only give CSS examples and NOT the related HTML. I am at a loss in trying to get grid areas code to work. Hi everybody,I am struggling to find out how to correctly align an image in a simple paragraph, any help would be appreciated.I have placed a small image along with text wrapped inside a section tag - see below. The image precedes the text and is set to float right. Looks just fine when viewed on a large screen, but when viewed on a cell phone the image doesn’t reside in the center of the viewport, rather it’s off to the right. Previously we only needed a username and password to connect to our Linux webservers and this was set up easy enough in the Sites area of Dreamweaver.  Next week, all of our webservers will require SmartCard login authentication.  We currently use CS 6. Does Dreamweaver now support this?  Might be able to get an upgrade if so.

I just noticed that Dreamweaver may not be opening the current file from our website.I needed to update a WWE card and double clicked the file in my list of files on the server.My local file opened and not the more recent file on the server.  I tried several things short of copying the file from the server to local in Win-Explorer.I finally had to delete my local file, and then when I "check In" the file, the current ver loaded.This will be a big pain if I cannot trust Dreamweaver to pull the current version on our website.My local htm file was a month earlier than what my assistant posted.  I would have lost his changes had I not discovered this issue.He said he had noticed this issue too.  He thought he resolved it by right-clicking the file and using Get.That did not work for me.  Am I going to have to compare file dates from now on?Thanks.  (subscription ver.)

I will be having a domain closing in a couple weeks and want to save three specific pages of it. Those three specific pages are Bootstrap 4 pages. So what I have done is use FileZilla and copied/pasted all files from the three HTML pages (and files within - the css's, js's, img's, etc.) I want and put them in the proper folder(s). Then I made sure each domains' folders had same names, etc. and moved them too appropriately. The HTML scripts were obviously copied and pasted there too for the host that will be ongoing.So now I would like to set up DreamWeaver properly for the editing (right?). In order to do this I assume I need to go through the "Manage Sites" process. I've done this kind of stuff before and have messed up. Since the domain I am moving the three pages too is very, very important and I don't want to mess it up is it possible for somebody to guide me on how to do this properly ?Any help here will be greatly appreciated -John

Hello,I'm trying to create multiple modal images that are in 2 columns on my webpage. I was using the template from w3 schools, but I can't seem to figure out how to make multiple images modal. Hi I have the problem with the background of my ImageSlider. If I make the browser smaller the image gets smaller but the background not. If I take for the container in CSS width: auto height: auto max-width: 100% the background disappears completely. Can someone help me. I have recently had a bootstrap site written for me, and one result is that the class pull-down menu is now hundreds (maybe thousands) of items long. It doesn't respond to the scroll wheel, and the down arrow will only move it one line per click. In other words, it is now useless. Is there a way to customize it so it will only display the classes that are actually used in the current site (or page), so I can use it again to apply a class?

I'm working with the DW HTML One column liquid, centered, header and footer example file.In the header there is a logo on the far left. What a major stuff up in this latest version.  When typing then need to add a letter, or a word at the cursor is impossible.  The only non-hair pulling thing to do is to do the copy in Word, then copy/paste.   Really Adobe!!!  Thanks for nothing !!!  Except a waste of time... Robert M

For the last week or so myself and some teammates who are using Dreamweaver CC 18.2 on IMacs are experiencing a significant lag in the program and constantly getting the rainbow wheel. We jump back and forth between Chrome Internet browser and Dreamweaver where there is a lot of copy and pasting, this is where the most significant lag is. However, even just working with the HTML and CSS alone inside DW there is lag when scrolling through the code or trying to click and drag over specific text to copy and paste.We have uninstalled, re-installed, updated to the most recent version and have re-set to the default the settings and still no change.Any help would be extremely helpful.

Dreamweaver cc 18I cant seem to find the browser button the one with the drop down list of different browsers that you can choose 

The real-time preview option only works when I save the document in Dreamweaver. When clicking the real-time preview button, my page renders perfectly in Chrome. However, if I make changes to the page, the changes aren't reflected on the preview page in Chrome until I save the document in Dreamweaver. According to the documentation, the real-time preview should show my changes as I'm typing. It doesn't. Once I save, the page automatically refreshes and my changes are shown.I shouldn't need to save for the changes to show.Why isn't this working?I have just installed the suite onto a new PC. It wasn't working on my Windows 7 PC and now it also doesn't work on a fresh install on a Windows 10 PC, so it must be a problem with Dreamweaver or its settings.Any ideas?Thanks

This app on a MAC is a complete joke to use, how Adobe can release this and say it finished is beyond me.

I'd like to have a web site with "Times new" font.I set this font in the .css file in this way:____________body {  font-family: "Times Roman";  font-size: 14px;  line-height: 1.42857143;  color: #333;  background-color: #fff;}____________and this work properly  on the web also ipad but not in the smatphone that show the font like "Arial".I'm missing something?Is there a way to set also in the smartphone the same font that I have on the web?How?Thanks.
