Hi,I installed the latest OS High Siera and now cant get DW to work. The rest of my apps are fine PS, AI but Dreamweaver fails to start up. I have tried uninstalling it then reinstalling to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.Sorry, i clicked the wrong button not answered.

I am really starting to NOT LIKE Adobe Dreamweaver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1. Why isn't my text NOT showing up in the search engines?2. Why do I have to CLEAN THE CACHE in Google and other browsers in order to see the changes in Dreamwewaver?!!!!Do I have to save each html and css file BEFORE I browse? Isn't the css, bootstrap and js supposed to save when I save the html?!I really find this tool to be EXTREMELY difficult! I have been trying to master it for almost 15 years now and it's always the same old hassle!!!!Yes, I am aggravated. Sorry.

Hello,I am working in Dreamweaver 2018. I have a page of 30 second videos I want to have play but leave the Dreamweaver page open. Right now I have it rigged to play a youtube video I have but it leaves the page you're on. I want to have the page stay and a new page open to play the video. How can I do that?

This is so very frustrating!!How do I make a div show up where I want it to show up. I want the Coming Soon text to show up where it should be... the center and under the banner where it can be read. In stead it's flush against the upper nav bar.Should I be using the position tool in the properties panel for this?

I'm using Dreamweaver cc 18.0. I'm trying to understand the the Toggle Visual Media Queries Bar as a tool for designing responsive websites.I'm used to using Adobe Captivate's responsive design tool. That makes sense to me. But Dreamweaver's bar is getting me a bit confused.First off, why can't I create a visual media bar if I only have html? Do I need css?Second, do I determine the number of sizes there are and the sizes themselves? Or does Dreamweaver do that?I'm really designing for only a browser on the internet, a tablet device such as an iPad and a mobile device such as an android and phone. So why do I see more than these three sizes? And why are some of the sizes on top of each other, such as the sizes on the screen below. Thanks for your help.

Is there a way to automatically format the html code in dreamweaver?I mean, for example, select the code and automatically get the right alignment of the code like it is possible do in action script.Is it possible?Is there a keyboard shortcut?Thanks.

Using Dreamweaver 2017 with the latest update.Mac SierraWhen I start a new document (regular html5 or bootstrap; doesn't matter), I am unable to use the insert panel. I can click once, twice, 100 times on any of the selections and nothing happens. Once in a while, I get lucky but then if I'm trying to nest it or put it after another div it wont give me the option.So far: I've restarteduninstalledre-installeddeleted the configuration filesNow I just started with Dreamweaver 2017 and I'm use to Dreamweaver CS5 but I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I can drag and drop! But then it doesn't give me any options where to place it, what CSS file to put the the styles in, etc etc... so I have to actually go into the code but it doesn't seem like it should work like that?

Is there a way to set the page format?I'm beginer of DW and I'm creating my first page.Now my page seems too little (look at my firs image below) in the retina screen, in smartphone look ok.I don't remember exactly but a few days ago it looks like the second image below, I mean from web, in local is alright.Maybe some file is corruct (css or whatever) or I miss something.Is there a way to set for computer a page that look like the second image below?Thank you.First Image:Second Image:

I'm trying to learn Bootstrap.When it comes to a class and an id in a div is this how correct?A div's class is an identifier name within a div for the css to find in order to give the div css style attributes, such as color, padding, ect....What is a <nav> tag? It looks like it does the same thing as a <div>

I am using Adobe Dreamweaver cc. I am trying to learn Bootstrap. Bootstrap is a Framework that incorporates CSS, and JavaScript to make functionality on the website. Is this correct?I notices I am unable to insert anything into the bootstrap.css and that it states it's Read Only.Is bootstrap a Read Only file? Must I create a new CSS style sheet in order to make various changes?Thanks         

What's the more efficient way for me to get colors from a website to my Adobe Color Wheel and then download it to a library for my Adobe Apps?I am using a color picker within Firefox Developer Edition. But every time I paste them hex color into the Adobe Color Wheel app the other colors change at the same time.Thanks

I'm covering an awesome tutorial on Adobe's website that teaches how to design and develop a website starting from Adobe Photoshop comps to Adobe Dreamweaver.  My question is, within the web design field, is this practice of web design looked down upon? Are web designers expected to use higher ends tools to develop a website?

Hello: I have put up three websites, and I am starting another one. I have not done any markup coding in about four years, so I am rusty.Way back then, I used the HOTMETAL 5 HTML coding program, which worked well.I have Adobe CS3, including AI CS3, so I decided to try DreamWeaver. I create .JPG files in AI, and I use those as the backdrops for web pages. So I did a VERY BASIC code page for my index.html, with a .jpg face. This is what happened when I tried to display it, in DreamWeaver:As you can see, the program DOES NOT DISPLAY the .jpg file......WHY?....WHY?.....WHY?I also select areas of the .jpg file to make them clickable. HOW DO I DO THIS in Dreamweaver? It's obviously impossible, if the ,jpg filewill not even display.This is VERY frustrating, as I can not even get off of the ground here....PLEASE HELP!THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!Carl Starke
