When I select the Online Guide under "Help" and select "User Guide", I get the Guide for the 2017 version - I have the 2015.0 version (16.0.1).  Is there a way to access the User  Guide related to my version of Dreamweaver?

Hey people,I am in a deep trouble, I have connected mySql to my dreamweaver site succesfully but when testing in the browser the data i enter isnt visible in the database table.....and also i am getting this dynamically- relatesd content problem could this be the problem.

I have long had this problem with various versions of Dreamweaver, including DW CC 2017, on several versions of Mac OS X. I know others have had it and support has been involved. But I cannot find an answer relevant to my problem. But I know Adobe must have addressed this!Compare With Remote Server often works for me, using BBdiff. But then, sometime during a session, it stops working. When I check the FTP log, it shows that the file is still downloading. It never finishes and the remote-to-local comparison in BBedit never appears. This problem occurs intermittently, at seemingly random times. If I restart the computer, Compare With Remote starts working again.

I need to / want to become more familiar the DW interface and especially the file handling functions. Does anyone know of a video maybe on Youtube that can help me? Thanks!

Hi I recently upgraded to the latest version of DW and I find it completely frustrating to use.I want to use DW 2014, which was working fine in all aspects for me.  How can get get rid of 2017and revert back to this useable version?thanks

I created a layout in Photoshop cc 2017 using a gradient fill in a rectangular selection. When I upload the file to my Creative Cloud account, and then use Extract in Dreamweaver, the file shows up in the Extract panel but the gradient swatch does not show up in the Styles section under Gradients (or anywhere). If I click on the gradient-filled rectangle, it seems to be treated as a div with width and height being the only available CSS to copy.Aaaargh! What's up with this? How do I get my gradient to show up in the extract panel? It looks so cool in the tutorial where the gradient CSS for Webkit, Moz, etc gets automatically added to the CSS, but it's not happening for me and I didn't see anywhere in the tutorial how this was accomplished.

This is a followup to this question.If i make a new page without Fluid Grid Layout, is there a way to copy/paste what I already have in my FGL page into it? I tried copy/pasting the code, but something's not working out and the images don't show. I don't have enough time to just start over.I'm not sure if this is related, but in the FGL page the code for my divs is in a separate tab from the code for my CSS Styles, one is labeled Source Code and the other is labeled Untitled.css. The new page doesn't have separate tabs.

What more should DW be doing with the Multi-Cursor and the Find and Replace? For me the F/R is fine but I hear a lot of people complain. I am wondering what I should be doing. I am being serious as I think I may be missing something here. The Multi-Cursor thing I think can be better because VSCode is free and it works way better. In continuation from my topic last month, since no one was able to help me solve that problem (although if possible it will still be even more useful to me), I have made the decision to create a responsive website.With a 1-column website, if I start with making it a static website, what would I need to add to the code to make it completely responsive? Basically, I have a website that is static. 1-column, everything neatly arranged, basically designed entirely for mobile usage. The only problem is, it isn't prepared to act responsively. My content consists mainly of text and images. The banner image has a centered call to action (CTA) button. The CTA has a transparent background reveling the banner image. Using css I would like to change the banner image to black & white (BW). The area behind the CTA should remain in color and no affected by the banner img BW effect. Next, hovering on the CTA buttons removes the BW effect on the banner image. I have a website with a few working pages. I wanted to replace the nav bar on each page with a placeholder and load the code from a common file. The situation is that it works in the Live view of Dreamweaver, but doesn't work when I load the same code into Chrome. Hi There!I'm on DW CC 2017 and on MAC. When I highlight anything on Live View it is mirrored in Code View as well and that's a great thing. But the color of the highlight is dark grey on a black background. I want to change it to yellow on the same black background. How do I do that?Thanks much for you help!Michel

I just upgraded my Adobe Creative Suite to Dreamweaver 2017.1.The Code-Live view is now not working so I cannot see the Live View mode.When I select the menu View -> Split -> Code-Live, nothing happens. The selection doesn't change, even though the menu still exists. It stays on Code-Design as shown in diagram #1 below.Even the View -> View Mode -> Live doesn't work. It stays on the Design selection. Refer to diagram #2 below.I found this article online: View live data in Live View in Dreamweaver It says to go to View > Live View Options > HTTP Request Settings but there is no option in my View menu for that. How do I create the drop down menu in the basic multi column template without having the links displayed as hyper links?  Is there a short cut in the workspace somewhere?

I am trying to add a field for a website/hyperlink in a form. This is on a page that is used to add new users for an online availability calendar and would be added under an administrative login (I did not set up the calendars so I am backtracking to figure out how this was done initially). What I am attempting to accomplish is a field that will appear in the calendar's search results that will take users directly to the website that has openings.

First off i am SUPER new to web design and am easily confused, so please be gentle with your jargon.
