I have a menu bar near the top, just under the photo.  If you click on any of them, the link moves to the right and nothing happens.  This was working.  I must have done something wrong to cause this but cannot figure this out.Here is my website: www.centralohiohiking.org

hitricky thing.i have a videofile of lets say 5mb in full hd , 5 seconds long, mutedthen i have the "home" site and another site withing my homepage (...yeah, what else:)so, now i want to go from my home site to the other site of my homepage following the link to the other site (...still, what else:)and now it gets tricky: instead of going directly from home site to this other site i want the videofile to be played automaticly + in fullscreen + automaticly forwarding to the other site i wantet to go to from home in the first place.like instead of : home -> link to other site -> other sitei want : home -> link to other site -> videofile in fullscreen +  autoplaying for 5 seconds (or whatever long the video will be) + automatically directing to -> other sitecant be so difficult i would assumeand as its redirecting to a subside of the homepage withing the same domain and not to an entirely different domain i hope/think it wont be a problem with the redirectionblocker i

Hi, I'm on a mac version: 10.10.5 and I just updated the OS system. When I opened Dreamweaver, I notice the update to the Dreamweaver software. I'm running Dreamweaver 2017. I was working a file ( .html ) and I noticed I made a mistake in the code and then I realized the "X" didn't appear at the bottom of the page. See the image I attached. I made a additional intentional errors but that green checkmark never changes. In the older version, it would've turned red with a "X". Any idea why I'm having this issue now and how can I fix it?

What software do you use to keep track of all of your clients' website information?  I currently use Outlook 2010 and plug most of my client's info into the Outlook Contacts.  Currently using PC, Windows 10, CS6 Master Collection.

HelloAm new to Dreamweaver CC 2017, have just downloaded a Site created by a designer a few years ago to edit some text, so haven't made too many formatting changes. The file I am trying to update is the Template. When I go to save the Template and apply the changes to the child files I get this error for all of them.It appears to be within the un-editable text within the Child files.Can upload the HTML of the Template and one of the child files if someone can see where I am going wrong.Have some previous coding knowledge, but not fully conversant yet with the nuances of HTML and Java.Look forward to hearing from someone.Many thanksDrew

I have a design in Dreamweaver that uses SVG for the logo along with <g> and <path d=...> tags containing lengthy code. I wish to replace this with my client's logo, which I created in Illustrator and Photoshop and exported to SVG. How do I now get this logo into the code? The design doesn't appear to reference an image filename for the logo on the page or in style.css. Alternatively, I nixed the whole SVG attempt and referenced the logo as a jpg, then as a .png using <img src=..> but the quality was so poor, I'd like to see if I can successfully add the logo using SVG with your help if you think it will improve rendering of the logo on retinal displays. I tried to make a connection to my site this morning and it won't connect. It was working yesterday, but this morning I get this message:An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host. User limit reached or not authorized to make the connection due to local firewall blocking FTP data.There have been no changes made to my site or password from the last time I logged in, which was yesterday.Now I cannot even get it connect.th

I've tried numerous times to upload a folder from CC Dreamweaver to my host server, the same as I've always done from the beginnings of Dreamweaver. It doesn't work. Nothing shows up on the host server. The site manager connects with the remote server just fine. ???By the way, I decided to scrap CC and go back to CS6. Big surprise. Adobe wanted to end my subscription at the end of this month BUT charge me the full shot for the subscription anyway. The NY AG is going to hear about this! I wonder what the grandfathers who actually conceived and wrote Adobe software that worked think about the grandkids, eyes full of dollar signs, who've pre-empted it & screwed it all up.

Hi,I'm curious of the best way to place an image on top of another and have them both center.  For example I have a nice background.png image.  I want to assign it to the body tag (or should I assign it to a container div?) and have it center/top.  Next I want to place a header image ON TOP of the background image and have it center as well and be flush on the top.Thanks for anyone who can help

I have created a somewhat responsive bootstrap layout using the grid system however I wanted to know whether there was a way the column could disappear completely when the screen gets below a certain number of pixels. A couple of major version back the get and put buttons used to sit on the top tool bar within easy reach. Then they got moved inside a File Management fly-out menu. I see with version 2017 this is still the case. Is there a way to have these buttons sitting on the top toolbar next to the view setting buttons for example? It's a real pain having to do the extra action of clicking on the file management icon first then clicking on the get or put when it used to be a single click.Cheers.

Hello all,  I'll start by saying I'm very new to this.  What I'm trying to do is make a website with video as the full screen background. As I've read everywhere, this is a bad idea for mobile users, but what you can do is set it up so that instead of loading video, it'll defer to a still poster for your background.  I've found a pretty good tutorial on how to do this, but I can't seem to get it to work on my android phone or an iphone that I've tried it with.  I feel like I've copied what I'm looking at pretty exactly, and its been very frustrating to not know what I'm doing wrong.  It appears to be working fine on an iPad, but not on my phones.  I get just a black screen.  Creating a fullscreen HTML5 video background with CSS - Slicejack - This is the tutorial that I'm working from.
