I have a page developed in Muse, which has a slide show.  When I preview the page in Dreamweaver, it  works fine. But when I upload to my website it only shows thumbnails, but slideshow doesn't work.  I'm using Dreamweaver CS6The url for page is:  David A. Hey, I am busy with a school project and I need to put in a background image but ever since the new update of dreamweaver the tab you can click on after typing background-image: doesn't show which means I can't pick a background image. Does anyone know how to fix this or why it's not showing?Thank you!

Running DW CC 2017 version.In code / split viewLooking at code, If I right click on the code I get a context menu at the end of which isCode Hint Tools from there are three options Color Picker / URL Browser / Font listWhat are they for? Same as others. I can connect with filezilla with same parameters. I was able to connect 2 days ago with same setup. I redid the site server from scratch same results. Error box indicated I need proxy. We don't have a proxy. I've tried with firewall off, passive checked or unchecked, no diff. Now a different user connected after me yesterday, so something could have changed but what? Filezilla still works.FTP log has nothing/empty.  Wireshark shows connection with a Request followed with a short Response from server. Then nothing more. Filezilla has Request/Response repeated many times.(CS6 Version 12.0)

Hi, I have been doing some research on how I would create a login page with Dreamweaver 2017 as I wanted to create a practice page to make sure I understood the principles and that I was securing my pages and databases correctly before moving to a production environment.  I have found many tutorial online (including some wrote officially by adobe) but they all seem to be out of date as they are all talking about "server behaviours" which was depreciated when Dreamweaver CC was released and is no longer included with Dreamweaver.I really want to create a proper login page that uses a web-form connected to a MySQL database.  I know how to create the database and I know how to layout the form.  What I don't know how to do is make the form work with the database and as previously mentioned all tutorials that I have found (including official adobe ones) are talking about server behaviours which is not helpful to me at all since I am using the CC 2017 version of dreamweaver.I

Hi,This isn’t a Dreamwever question per se, but I’m hoping someone on here will be able to steer me to the answers I am looking for.I am currently building an interactive presentation for our sales repas to display on tablets at trade shows. After much deliberation I have decided to produce this as a mini-website specifically designed for display on a tablet. Having not built a website in nearly 10 years, I am now learning HTML5 coding via Dreamweaver CC 2015The site/presentation is pretty straightforward: about 30 pages with basic animations, video, slideshow and scrolling text.The thing I’m bamboozled by is actually getting it onto the tablet, which will be an iPad in this case. I know I could load it to a website and then simply have the iPad hook up to that but the thing is, if the web connection goes down (or runs slowly) our sales rep will have nothing to show the customer. What I really want to do is load it into the hard drive of the tablet so it is permanently on the device co

I'm saving my html and XML files, to upload with Filezilla. I can see that they were saved locally, but Filezilla isn't seeing any of these files. What am I doing wrong, here?

In the old dreamweaver before I updated to 2017 version, when I completed my layout, I hit F12 and it showed in my browser where I could crosscheck myself before I go live on my page on a web page.  With this new version, there isn't away to do with short cut except I have to go to File > real time preview and it gives me a numeric URL, when I click on the links to check all of them, it says page not found.  What did I do wrong?  My links are good.  Can someone help?  What wrong with the F12 short cut and I can doublecheck....[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum... Hi anyone reading this,I'm a very new person to code so please go easy on me I making this site for university using a bootstrap template, I opened it in mobile and the page implodes.I realise now that i haven't been using the code of bootstrap at all and i've been fighting it with my own bad code and i'm in rather a mess.As you can see most of my page is made of of side by side boxes, currently these boxes squish into each other as i resize my page (and the text overflows).What I want is side by side boxes (column of 6 width each) and a height to them that means they will always behave like a ridged square so text isn't impaired. As soon as both boxes can be contained I would like the boxes to go underneath each other. How do i do this. I'm gonna be up all night working so please help however you can and try to dumb it down for me cuz ive been doing this for like two weeks.I understand that the code is bad in many other places but I can fix the most of that.This is the site btw, I kno

I use Dreamweaver CC 2017 in split view code-design.  When I open a file, the design section is immediately active, but the code section is frozen and takes a long time before it is responsive.  I can make changes in the design section, but they do not appear in the code.  I cannot make changes directly to the code until the file has been open for about a minute.  Any suggestions?

I'm having a bugger of a time trying to find something to make this work.  I found instructions at Page Plugin - Social Plugins - Documentation - Facebook for Developers .  Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work.  You guys know of any Dreamweaver Extension that might work to make this happen?  I found one Extension at Facebook Integration for Dreamweaver but it would be a stab in the dark.  Anyway, curious to find out how you might make this happen.  Thanks.  Bob Green

I made an error! I had updated Dreamweaver CC 2015 to Dreamweaver CC 2017. As a student, it does not match my text book. How can I revert this update?

I understand that by subscribing to Dream Weaver, I automatically I subscribed to 20Gb "Cloud" space. Assuming that is correct, (20Gb is not much).My Web site consists of two parts.Part one: The website content which is present in my computer. I could easily transfer (copy + Paste) into my Cloud space.Part two: The Photo Gallery. Collection of photographs, about 15,000 which is directly posted and saved in the hosting server.So, My question is: How do I synchronize the FULL content of the hosting server in my Cloud Space??George

Version 2017.0.1 changed the intellisense/code hint selection button from tab to enter. Is there a way I can change it back?

In 2017.0.1, every time I edit a file and change windows, a save prompt appears. It's incredibly obnoxious. How can I disable this?

Hi,I have seen some gallery programs that use a 'tag' feature where you can add these tags and the image will show in the different galleries i.e.a photo tagged with dog, house, green would show in the dog gallery, house gallery and green gallery.Is there any way to do something like this with Dreamweaver CS6?At present I am having to copy each image and corresponding text into 4 or 5 different galleries or categories and with a few thousand photos it is taking forever on this update of the website.Any help appreciated.

Hi All, Help I know I have done something wrong, but I cannot find what it is.http://www.pziecina.com/lightbox/lightbox.htmlI was creating a flexbox image gallery with a lightbox, for a possible demo in a future discussion. Which works, (sort of) but when I reduced the browser size to simulate smaller screens, (to work out the lightbox overlay, and positioning) I now have a large top margin after the initial text then after every 2nd image.I can't work out if this is something to do with the flexbox css or my html code.If you could take a look and offer a solution, (or even any suggestions) I would be grateful, it's probably something simple but after writing the css animation code I've gone code blind .

Hi ... I'm new and it's been a while since I've built a website. I have watched and followed a few tutorials, which have been fabulous, however I'm struggling with getting my images to act the way I want them too. I'm working on a building a website that is viewable on mobile, tablet and desktop, and the coding I've used works on mobile and desktop, but I can't get it to respond correctly for tablet. I've used the exact coding the tutorial used. Can anyone help me? Please? Thank you, Aurea
