I was part of a discussion on ADA Compliance but apparently Nancy O'Shea immediately locked the thread after ranting. That's not good. Nancy,Why are you so angry?This is an issue where the disabled can benefit from ADA-compliant software.The ADA is not just about websites. Section 508 - biz will have a hard time providing DW for their disabled employees.As stated, brick-n-mortar stores including B2B are not websites but subject to the ADA law.Ask Netflix about that. They are not a real website per se. Dreamweaver in the cloud, well let the courts decide. So, if Adobe would listen and adjust their software that is difficult in places, they would succeed even better than having Nancy grumble about not caring about the disabled and protecting Adobe. After all, the adjustment in their app is not that big of a deal to modify. How about working with others and making a change for the better of society?

Dear Adobe DreamWeaver Team, as a new feature I would very much appreciate a JSON Viewer & Editor. Currently my workaround is quite troublesome and prone to mistakes: I use JSONview (Browser AddOn) to view the code and have to manually manipulate the code that is bunched together in one loooooooooooooooooooooooooong line (despite the line break very confusing).https://jsonview.comHowever you are deciding, I am looking forward to your reply. My Dreamweaver CS4 has worked just fine for several years on my Apple Mac Book Pro.Recently, it will boot up and then quit unexpectedly.Message is always the same:  "Wrong password"I do not have a chance to enter password for my remote server because it quits and completely disappears.How can I fix this problem.

Hello:I recently switched to a new web host and server.  I had no problems with my last server in Dreamweaver connecting with my remote files.  I got a message that Dreamweaver connected to server, but on the right hand column where it's supposed to come up I got gibberish.  The following error message was flashed: "Dreamweaver cannot determine the remote server and time.  The synchronization features are not available."  This is, of course, nonsense, since it worked find with my last web host server.  I searched Dreamweaver and also made sure that Windows Defender included Dreamweaver in its exclusions.  Is there something I have missed?  This doesn't make sense!---- Gerald Gibson

This morning I opened Dreamweaver to update a web page which contains an iFrame using code from Vimeo.  None of my project index files now display the iFrame and associated video.  Nothing has changed and when you view the websites, the videos are present.  Dreamweaver is up to date and displayed the iframes and videos a week ago.   Again, the actual websites display the videos okay.  Any suggestions?  I even pasted in the latest Vimeo embed code, but it made no difference.  Runing Windows 10 which is up to date.

I would like to preview my website on a mobile device, however when i click the preview button the only options that appear are the "preview in browser" options. I have seen in tutorials that there should be a QR code to scan for mobile, but this doesnt not appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Using Dreamweaver Cs6. When opening certain files, I keep getting pop up saying "A script in file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe dreamweaver cs6\Configuration\Shared\Spry\DesignTime\EditingUtils.js has been running for a long time. I have been using Dreamweaver every day for many years – and Macromedia before that. My issue is with FTP uploading image files. Uploading text files works just fine. Uploading any image file takes several minutes.  Image file size or format doesn't make any difference. Granted, I have over 20 year’s worth of image files in the images folder. Too many to count. Using the FTP client Fetch works just fine for both images and text. I have found a simple fix. I opened a new empty folder: images2, that I am using for all new images. This problem has caused me incredible grief. My ISP said it was Dreamweaver's fault and Dreamweaver support said it was my ISPs fault. Apple was no help. The Apple OS supports billions of levels. I finally figured out what was going on and now use a "work around." Is this a "bug" in Dreamweaver?  I think so.

 I just upadated Dreamweaver and am spending way too much time trying to get it readable for ADA compliance (Americans with Disabilities Act).I'm talking about the DW program interface, main.less, not the program pages. Is there a main.less template that is ADA compliant that I can download? I already added *{font-weight:600 !imortant} but that doesn't work with the color tones and brightness of the text. Or, perhaps import the styles from my old DW 5.5? Thank you.     ______________FYI - For those of you creating websites for USA clientele, I noticed that lately the fashion is to make pages with light text. E.g., this page uses font-weight:300 (too low) , and color:#3e3e3e, too light. I copy text from Word into Dreamweaver to format.  Up until recently, when I would copy and paste lists the bullet points or numbers from the lists would show up when pasted.  Within the last week, the bullet points and numbers from the list have not been pasting into Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is up-to-date.  I have restarted my computer, but that did not help. I am using a Windows computer. and have version 21.3

I don't want to watch training videos. I don't want to do sample projects. I don't want to have to click on dropdown carets and links and navigate and scroll through webpages. Hello,One big question I've had while creating a portfolio for myself is how to make my name (h1) align with my logo. So far, the only way I know of adjusting the leading is the line-height (3.5vw) decloration. The distance between "Matthew" and "Jablonski" satisfies me. However, I end up having my whole name slightly lower than I would like (in relation to my logo). What revision(s) do I need to make to move the phrase up slightly? Please make any additional suggestions to how I've done my coding.  Matthew

I just got thrown into this project and I have no idea what I am doing. I have done Muse, Flash, and Wordpress, but not Dreamweaver with css.... I need to make a graphic header that I created, stay centered and also scale all the way across a page when the page width changes. I found this starter template named basic - single page and somehow placed my graphic into it. Also trying to figure out how to get rid of the grey sidebars. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

A couple days ago I started working on this HTML page with a contact form. And to make things more visually appealing, I'm using CSS rules to style my form, page, etc. However, I ran into an issue that I can't seem to get around. For some reason, while working on the stylesheet for my contact form, all of the rules / styles that I'm adding (after the formWrap I've applied) aren't taking effect. My stylesheet is properly linked, there's no error in my code, and I doubt that I've got an issue with caching (unless I'm wrong). At one point, I was wondering if the div tags I had created were the issue but I don't think that's the case either. Any form of help / advice would be greatly appreciated.  

Complete novice here, so bear with me... I've found myself in the unenviable position of being the most tech-savvy person in a small non-profit.  as such, the responsibility of updating/managing the website has fallen to me.  That this has fallen to me is a woeful indictment on our ability to find and keep competent tech people, but it's the situation we have, so... Best I can tell, the remote server seems to have several similar folders containing various iterations of the site, none of which are complete...but which, collectively, seem to function reasonably well.  For the most part, the site has been cobbled together in php, with a smattering of html sections.  Again, this is what I inherited and I'm only about 80% sure I even understand what's happening. The trouble I'm having is when I try to make edits to the content, I can't easily find the files related to specifc pages without having to open every folder and open a half dozen not-quite-right

I'm using iMac 24 with Apple M1 chip. I'm smoothly using every other Adobe softwares which are M1 compatabile. But for some reasons Adobe is not updating Dreamweaver to a M1 version. Could you please let us know when will be the M1 compatible version be rolling out?

Hello All,I am posting on behalf of one of my students, for whom English is a second language (and not comfortable posting). She has a paid subscription to Creative Cloud, is using a Windows OS11 laptop and has downloaded and installed Dreamweaver. However, the app continues to crash after launch - despite uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Any ideas how to address the following error recieved each time: 

I just updated my first website, which was a combo of bootstrap and my own coding. I updated the footer in the template to include favicons and a background color. I used CSS and flexbox to position my text with the favicons. Everything looked fine until I realized that the footer was only "sticky" when there was alot of content on the page. In the emptier pages, the footer floats to the top. good page: https://www.drct.com/not good: https://www.drct.com/search.htmlI tried adding a footer class called "footer-main", toggling the position..absolute, relative, fixed, etc. That worked with one page, but not with the other. I actually did figure this problem out on my other website, but that was a different design without bootsrap. Is there any quickfix, without messing up the entire website? Is there a bootstrap footer class that will do some magic? Please excuse my coding. This was my first website from a year ago. The footer styles are mostly in "footer.css".  Thanks

Is there a way to specify the file extension(s) when doing a search? If I know what I'm looking for is in a php file I need to filter for that, I don't need the search results to list the finds in css or js files or even waste time looking in non php files. Notepad++ allows *.php

Hi.I've been using DW Templates and it helps me a lot.My quesion is, how to overwrite the "editable region" by the contents of "editable region" of the .dwt file.For instance, look at the next code:<!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="doctitle" --> <title>ABC online store</title> <!-- TemplateEndEditable -->This is the editable region created at the beginning.Then, I usually edit this title tag for each pages as below:<!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="doctitle" --> <title>contact page | ABC online store</title> <!-- TemplateEndEditable -->This is fine so far. But when you create next website based on this template-based website, you want to replace the brand name ABC with XYZ but it fails.Just modifing the text ABC with XYZ in the dwt file and saving it end up with changing only the dwt file, not any other web pages baced on the template. Any advice?
