I have a very frustrating problem. When I open the site setup window to specify the remote and local servers, and I click away from this window to copy and paste a password from e.g. notepad, the site setup window disappears. I presume it is behind the main Dreamweaver window but I cannot minimise this window to get to the window behind it. I cannot click on anything on the main DW window at this point. I have to force shutdown DW via task manager and start again.Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it?I'm using Windows 10 and the latest DW (downloaded as part of Adobe Cloud subscription).RegardsHennie

Why is it that when I go into my site selector in the Files screen, instead of seeing only the sites I've set up, I'm seeing all my drives, all my Mac Time-Machine backups, all sorts of other items along with the sites that should be in there.  Dozens and dozens of nonrelated items.  When I go into my site manager, though, all I see are the sites I've set up, as it should be.  It's really annoying to have to scroll through all those items that shouldn't be there just to get to the one I want.  I've been using DreamWeaver for over 20 years, and this has just started happening. See the attached image for just a partial list of what shouldn't be showing in the site selector menu. Thanks.

My 2021 version of DW is not displaying the default code colors. I have tried all the interface fixes with no luck. Please see screen shot of the issue.

Hola a todos y a todas, Quisiera saber si se puede (y como hacerlo) cambiar la ubicación de la previsualización en vivo de Dreamweaver, tengo un monitor ultrapanorámico, muy ancho y no en exceso alto, y la verdad es que me va muy mal tenerlo arriba cuando sería fabuloso poder tenerlo a la derecha ya que podría programar sin problemas con medio monitor y ver el resultado en la otra mitad. ¿Se puede hacer eso? ¡Muchas gracias!

Please can someone help me get this option back.  I have checked and the .htaccess files exists on the server but not showing in the file list on DW. The option to turn show hidden files is disabled. Thank you

My pattern in the html form is very simple <form> <input type="text" pattern="[A-Za-z]{2,30}" required> <!--SEND button bla bla bla...--> </form>Why the input still accepts characters like $ ^ % @ #...??? They are VALIDATED like correct, valid characters. I wanted to accepot unicode characters, so I've been implementing the `\p{L}` and similar, so I understabnd that some characters are difficult to restrain or filter but to this `A-Z`, so basic, accepting symbols and numbers??? confusses me. Or DW regex don‘t work at all in local environment? If field is empty I got the client validation of Bootstrap, because I am using Bootstrap utilities too. I have also server side validation. Three pictures attached. 1. If Empty, red message advises me. 2. The wrong characters typed. 3. Correct VALIDATION with the wrong characters, so the PATTERN didn't work. Orientations, please.

On multiple occasions, I've experience Copy and Paste failures. Or, rather, unexpected behaviors.I copy a line of code, and paste it somewhere else in the same document.Then I copy another line of code, and paste it somewhere else. Only, the second paste, pasted what was copied the first time. From then on, the only item working in the edit menu is paste. Even if you copy something from outside of Dreamweaver (TextEdit) and paste into Dreamweaver, it still paste what was copied the first time.When this is happening, Dreamweaver is the only app behaving this way. Tells me it must be limited to Dreamweaver.From what I've read, on other forums, I'm not the only one seeing this. Yet, it's not a topic here.I'm running MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) / 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 / 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 / OS X 10.13The Dreamweaver CC 2018 I'm using is Build 10136. I googled for a solution to this problem and it looks that it is an old and known one.Now, with the last Dreamweaver installed (19.1) I´m facing the same error:"An FTP error occurred -- cannot make connection to host.  Your login or password is incorrect.  Please check your connection information."With Filezila everything works fine.Is it any solution for this error?

I was part of a discussion on ADA Compliance but apparently Nancy O'Shea immediately locked the thread after ranting. That's not good. Nancy,Why are you so angry?This is an issue where the disabled can benefit from ADA-compliant software.The ADA is not just about websites. Section 508 - biz will have a hard time providing DW for their disabled employees.As stated, brick-n-mortar stores including B2B are not websites but subject to the ADA law.Ask Netflix about that. They are not a real website per se. Dreamweaver in the cloud, well let the courts decide. So, if Adobe would listen and adjust their software that is difficult in places, they would succeed even better than having Nancy grumble about not caring about the disabled and protecting Adobe. After all, the adjustment in their app is not that big of a deal to modify. How about working with others and making a change for the better of society?

My Dreamweaver CS4 has worked just fine for several years on my Apple Mac Book Pro.Recently, it will boot up and then quit unexpectedly.Message is always the same:  "Wrong password"I do not have a chance to enter password for my remote server because it quits and completely disappears.How can I fix this problem.

Hello:I recently switched to a new web host and server.  I had no problems with my last server in Dreamweaver connecting with my remote files.  I got a message that Dreamweaver connected to server, but on the right hand column where it's supposed to come up I got gibberish.  The following error message was flashed: "Dreamweaver cannot determine the remote server and time.  The synchronization features are not available."  This is, of course, nonsense, since it worked find with my last web host server.  I searched Dreamweaver and also made sure that Windows Defender included Dreamweaver in its exclusions.  Is there something I have missed?  This doesn't make sense!---- Gerald Gibson

This morning I opened Dreamweaver to update a web page which contains an iFrame using code from Vimeo.  None of my project index files now display the iFrame and associated video.  Nothing has changed and when you view the websites, the videos are present.  Dreamweaver is up to date and displayed the iframes and videos a week ago.   Again, the actual websites display the videos okay.  Any suggestions?  I even pasted in the latest Vimeo embed code, but it made no difference.  Runing Windows 10 which is up to date.

I would like to preview my website on a mobile device, however when i click the preview button the only options that appear are the "preview in browser" options. I have seen in tutorials that there should be a QR code to scan for mobile, but this doesnt not appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
