4 years worth of updates and this issue persists? Does Adobe not care about Dreamweaver any longer? Should I be pivoting to some other program?    

Hey guys, Im just reaching out to see if I can get a fix for this weird bug im having. I am making a web app which contains a feedback/submission form. For whatever reason, when testing the form out in chrome, whenever I click on the text box to type up some text or even hit the 'Submit' button, the whole app just freezes up and refuses to let me scroll. This happens in Chrome, safari, in a phone emulator Chrome extension, and even on my actual mobile phone. Has anyone had the same issue or perhaps a similar one? Thanks!

Reloading 2004 version Dreamweaverhave used DV for 15 years but can't figreout how to get my website built with DW years ago downladed and working on new computer. Also can't get permanet install on new hard drive, says It cannot connect to internet eventhough I am certain the computer has a internet connect.

Hi need some help.  We have a Dreamweaver 2021 website build and recently moved from http to https security.  The website is hosted on British Telecom Apache server. We are having issues with updating the design from our local folder structure.In the Site Setup form there is a field :  Root DirectoryWhat folder should be included here.  The server side folder design has the folder "Public" which contains the website content.Should we just enter "Public" in the Root Directory field ????Thanks when someone has a moment.Murray

I'm happy using MailChimp and Klaviyo for other clients but this particular client want's their emails built in HTML/CSS (I'm using Dreamweaver here) and not an email marketing website. If I build an email newletter in Dreamweaver it's responsive in the app, then also responsive when uploaded to a website and viewed in Chrome. It pastes from Chrome into my email clients ie Outlook, Mail, Airmail but here it only appears there as the desktop version and sends the same. The HTML/CSS is inlined and I've checked the media queries are there. Anyone know why it's losing responsiveness. I've also checked using one of the templates without touching it to see if it's something I'm messing up.

There are always problems with the clipboard during the copy-paste operation. You copy one, and another is inserted. And sometimes even in an incomprehensible place. And sometimes visually inserts it where it is needed, but in fact - at the beginning of the page. Visually you look at the code, everything is correct, but it does not work. You exit the program, open it again - and you get fooled by what is presented there.

Suppose I edit an html file in "Design" mode. Now suppose I want to "Find" a word. Then it will find a word in code not in "Live." Is there any way that I can search a word in "Live"?

workspace seems not to store my view settings anymoreis very annoying to do this every day again I start DW* closing all opened files (from the day before)* re-open one of them* set view to 'split' and 'code: Entwurf (Draw in English?)'so that this and all subsequently opened files in DW are displayed in this desired way.My workspace(? Fenster . Arbeitsbereichlayout) stored and re-used such settings. When and why this stopped idk, or if I did sth wrong.Any help's appreciated 🙂

Using Dreamweaver for coding php is really different from JavaScript where I had to turn off a lot of uneuseful "errors" warnings. I did it consulting the experts and documentation of ecmascript starndards.But as I started to work with classes, this error is appearing and disturbing the code debug. http://www.tellerbooks.com/contact.htm used to be a functional contact page. However, I recently discovered that it does not work. After clicking submit, the page redirects to http://www.tellerbooks.com/webformmailer.php, which states, "File not found (404 error)." A message is not relayed through the website.  Can anyone identify what the issue is and how it might be fixed? 

Very basic problem: I have many, many sites in the site-manager of dreamweaver. Is there a posibility to group the sites into customer-folders or groups? Do anybody know?THX - Ralph

I've got a client who's website was built by a previous web designer and they pay me monthly for maintenance.  To make it easier, we transferred all of the Dreamweaver files from her computer to mine.  She has no idea what her FTP information is so I can upload her website to her hosting site from my computer.  Where would I find this information in her CS6 version of Dreamweaver and how do I add it into my CC 2019 version?  I'm new to Dreamweaver.  I mostly work with HTML and CSS.

I have a very large site and also use CS6 or CC but both have the same issue. I have a folder called imagedat with a subfolder of thumb. Customer uploads image to imagedat and smaller image to thumb. Problem is under dreamweaver either remote OR testing I cannot see the thumb folder??If I login to my hosting account and use the cpanel file manager it shows in file manager just fine, al images etc.Only under dreamweaver is it not there?This is a php site and I did set that type in my original setup.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advancePhil

I exported all my Snippets from my old computer to a thumbdrive.  With Adobe CS6 you used to, via an import/export extension, to import your snippets into the Snippets folder.  Is there such an extension in Adobe CC?

It's no great tragedy to me personally.  I don't use their platform & try to steer clear of anything FB-related (to the extent that one can). Just the same,  I can't help but wonder what's going on...   Is this an inside job?  What are the deeper implications of this hack?  

Using version 5.5 and having crashing lock up issues wanted to find a newer version and completely locked out of dreamweaver with 1000's of projects built on this machine...organized etc..just want to download CS6 version for dreamweaveror or a newer version that works with mac 10.11.6please relay any security issues as well.thanks for your help
