We use CCP to deploy CC2015 on our Mac (10.11.6) lab machines. The Creative Cloud desktop application is not installed -- we use RemoteUpdateManager to deploy updates. Today all of our machines started failing on the MUSE update. Despite claiming to have successfully installed ACR, RemoteUpdateManager will keep redownloading it and reinstalling it (along with the failing MUSE update) every time, with results identical to the log below. This is happening on all of our systemsRemoteUpdateManager version is : 1.9.5.25 (BuildVersion: 1.9.5; BuildDate: Thu May 26 2016 10:30:28 )Starting the RemoteUpdateManager...Following Updates are applicable on the system : (ACR/9.6.1.147/osx10-64) (MUSE/2015.2.1.21/osx10-64)**************************************************Following Updates are to be downloaded : (ACR/9.6.1.147/osx10-64) (MUSE/2015.2.1.21/osx10-64)***************************************************** Downloading (ACR/9.6.1.147/osx10-64) ...*** Successfully
We are trying to update our installs of Adobe Reader to version 11.0.17 using SCCM 2012. Whenever we place the .msp file in the folder, SCCM is unable to update the content of the Distribution point. If we put the 11.0.16.msp file there are no issues. Any suggestions? Is the 11.0.17.msp file corrupt in any way?Marc

Hi,We have X number of licence for Adobe Acrobat Pro and Y number of licences for Standard. We use a software that scan our network to know how many licence of each software are installed on each computers. That method worked great up to recently when Adobe Acrobat DC came out since in the installation of both pro and standard they both show up with the exact same name..... "Adobe Acrobat DC" making it quite hard to keep track of licences. If I had a small network of 50 or less pc it would still be manageable, but unfortunately it is not the case. Would someone know a way to scan a network / keep track of Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat Standard DC without having to keep track manually? Thanks
Hello,I am assisting in a company project from an IT perspective. The project team needs to lockdown the comment and highlight tools that is part of the Adobe. Is there a way to resolve to do this? Turn off the feature so that end users will not use these tools to edit / modify a pdf document? Thanks,Mike
Company bought Acrobat DC few months ago for the new employee.Since He quit the company, I(support team) deleted Acrobat DC which installed in his PC so I want to use it.I deleted Acrobat 9 and installed Acrobat DC. All functions work fine except saving. All I can see is blank space.Plus he connected this serial, belonging to company's Intangible assets, with his account and I can't figure it out. What can i do?
Our organization has a Sharepoint 2013 deployment and uses Acrobat Pro XI. We use document libraries with with check in/check out and verioning enabled. When opening a PDF from within a library, the document opens in Acrobat without issue but we do not receive any prompts to check the document out. This prevents us even from manually checking out the document in sharepoint, opening the document, saving the document back to sharepoint because Acrobat tries to save it to a local AppData Temp directory. I've seen a thousand answered posts about how to DISABLE SharePoint integration, but I'm just looking to get this functionality in the first place. The problem could be related to a SharePoint setting but I cannot cind such a setting. Our office documents prompt for checkout when opened as they should - Just not PDFs. ***Some additional information: From Acrobat, if I click File>Open, then select "open from online account"
Hello everyone,we've downloaded Acrobat DC pro from our licensing website and I cannot apply the continuous track updates on this version, since the installer is using the classic track branch. As you see one can download either the Continuous or Classic track updates here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows but I fail to find a download for DC pro that is using the Continuous track setup files. Thanks for pointing out the DL location.
I'm using SCUP for Flash and Reader updates and it all works fine except for the dates on updates. The update for Reader 11.0.17, for example, shows a Date Modified of 5/26/2016, which certainly seems inaccurate when the update was released on 7/12. Where this really creates the problem is in SCCM. The Date Modified for the update goes into SCCM as the Date Released. So when you're working with update reports for date ranges, this particular Reader update won't show up if you're looking at updates for the month of July, which is where you would expect it to be. You would need to look for it in March. Anyone know what's going on?This is what I see in SCUP.And in SCCM

A user have reported that when she accepts the Adobe invite (invite sent from Entripise Dashboard) and try to create an Adobe ID, her browser keeps on failing. The user has tried on IE, Chrome, and Firefox with no success. This seems to be an isolated case as most users that has been invited has successfuly created their Adobe ID. Can anyone provide any advise on why this is happening and how best to move forward.
Hi,We(me and my team) need an solution to the pop-ups of creative cloud. We work offline and need something to get rid of those pop-ups. Thank you.
Hi there,My adobe Enterprise account, owned by the company I work for, works perfectly when signing into Adobe Animate at my place of work. I was told by my employer that I could go home and sign into Adobe Animate using my same work account and work from home, signed in at two locations, with no problems. When attempting a sign-in from home, Adobe tells me "We can't find an Adobe Animate 2015.2 subscription associated with this ID."All of my coworkers with similar Enterprise accounts have had no issues logging in from home except for me. How can I fix this issue? Thanks! !
I had everything setup just as I wanted it for our SCCM environment. I built packages with the Creative Cloud Packager for a couple of different collections of Adobe apps based on our licensing agreements that I would simply update periodically right to package source files in our SCCM installation, redistribute and done. Why oh why did you remove the ability to edit a previously created package in the Creative Cloud Packager? What a huge inconvenience. I am really disappointed.
Hello !I created package via Adobe Cloud Packager with new cc2015.5 applications. But when I install this package to different computers launch Photoshop CC2015.5 and try to check updates... nothing happens. Just choose Help->Updates... and Adobe Applications Manager doesn't run without any errors.
I receive the error below when trying to update systems silently. Has anyone else ran into? I don't have this problem updating and of the previous version of acrobat or reader with SCCM.I'm getting a message from Interactive Services Detection that"A Program Running on this Computer is trying to display a messageThank you
I am trying to install a CC package that I created with the Creative Cloud Packager. I have random problems with some of our packages, but I created a new package with the whole suite and just can not get it to install. I usually run this from a network share, but I have also tried copying it to the local machine and it still fails. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps that I could find and still have no luck.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the line that I found in the PDApp.log07/14/16 09:58:51:637 | [FATAL] | | ASU | DeploymentManager | DeploymentManager | | | 4076 | The return code from the Adobe Installer Process is (7).Stopping the installation process.07/14/16 09:58:51:637 | [ERROR] | | ASU | DeploymentManager | DeploymentManager | | | 4076 | Media Failed (AICY11.0)[Moved from general install forum to Deployment forum... Hi there, We have built a package and attempted to install on several Lenovo Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machines. We get the same error on every machine. The build for the package went fine, but I can't get it to install. I've tried re-building the package and still nothing. I can attach the PDApp.log file if needed.Thank you!Craig DurnenTechnical Support ManagerVegas PBS
hi, i create a file like described here :Disable auto-updates in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite 6 appsand saved as plain text. restart the machine. but in creative cloud app are still the update buttons. when i hit it, the update take place. is there any way to prevent the auto updates ? thank you !
I have just created a new package for Adobe CC. I included Acrobat DC, but after installing the package, all the programs EXCEPT Acrobat DC install. If it makes any difference, Acrobat reader is installed on the machine prior to trying to deploy the package. I've read that the new version of acrobat doesn't have to be deployed through the Exception Deployer. Is this true? After I built the package, there was nothing in the Exceptions folder. As a side note, I was able to get it to install by manually putting it in the exceptions folder and running it like that, but I'd like to avoid that, if possible. Thanks for your time!
We have an ETLA for Education license setup. I have had multiple professors contact me about options for getting discounted software/ providing software for students needing it for class for a single semester. Since you have to sign a 1 year agreement to get a student version of CC, this doesn't work for a lot of students that only need it for 6 months. I was looking online and found a couple of things that mention bring-your-own-device options for students, but can't find any detailed information about it. We haven't done anything with this type of licensing before, so we are at a loss. Does anyone have any information they can share with me about how this is setup, or how it typically works? Or, does anyone know of any way to allow students to purchase the CC for students option with a shorter contract?
Hi allAs an Enterprise user, I use the CCPLauncher to build packages using our license key.Q 1. Is it necessary to install the CC desktop app?Q2. Updates in the app Help menu is greyed out. What is the recommended method for rolling out updates?ThanksP
Hi there,We have followed https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.htmlUse the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems to do a silent uninstall of all Adobe Product on MAC.1. removeALL trigger is Prompting for Adobe Application Manager to choose what programs needs to be cleaned up2. It is not removing few Apps like After Effect, Illustrator whereas its cleaning the Application Support file, so we can not uninstall them by actual method. Is there a better solution. We have thought of listing all Adobe Files in Library, Application Support and deleting them.Any good solution welcomed. Thanks.
I’m using DC 15 Classic track downloaded from the LWS site. I create a mst with the customization wizard and save the transform into the bootstrapper folder. I can run it successfully using this command at the command line (need command-line since we deploy via Dell Kace):Setup.exe /sALL TRANSFORMS="AcrobatDC_LWS.mst"With previous versions (XI) we successfully used this string: msiexec /i "AcroPro.msi" TRANSFORMS="AcrobatDC_LWS.mst" /qnIt will not work on my Windows 10 test VM only the setup.exe method. Oddly the msi method works when I test it on real hardware locally.Any suggestions? Its not mandatory that we get it to work this way just want to learn more about why it works or doesn’t work and why. Thanks!
Hi,I recently deployed Adobe Reader DC in my enterprise environment to around 1200+ users. We have around 400 users in this environment who are Adobe Standard XI, X or Adobe Professional X or XI users.Having deployed Adobe Reader DC this has now taken on default file association to open PDF's which has disgruntled the Adobe Acrobat (Standard and Pro users).Obviously to work around the issue we have manually set back their file association to either of the Adobe Acrobat products. My question is regarding customising the Adobe Reader DC package to disable PDF as default if earlier versions of Standard or Pro are found on the machine.Anyway, having read the customisation wizard document it states that the following property on the command line should resolve this issue....LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP=YESI have tried adding this property but it doesn't make a difference, is there anything else I need to change?Just to confirm, I am deploying Adobe Reader DC as a transform which was created in the DC
