I've installed the standalone flash player so that one of my users may open her .swf files with that instead of a browser as this is her preference.  After installing and setting this as the default program for .swf files everything seems to work fine for a couple of days and then out of nowhere, this just disappears and it reverts to IE as the default.  I've reinstalled and set this up a few times now, but I'm having trouble finding a permenant solution.

problem on the latest version of player. We are servicing multiple academies in Korea and we are having a problem right now. The latest version of Flash 32.0.0.255 killed the calling of javascript that calls the activex. If we downgrade to 32.0.0.207 it will work. I assume that might be the permission has a problem. If i made the IE run as administrator it will be okay but those application we created that wrap IE on a much lower version does not get the chance to make its right to be elevated as administrtor thus the blocking. So we have no choice but to downgrade and we have a lot of centers right that are complaining. Our activex being called inside the web thru javascript is signed. And i guess it does not need to get elevated permission. Let me know. 

In order to run an old program (Comcast Photo show) on my windows 10 computer, I believe I need Flash Player 6. So,,,how can I get Flash Player 6 to work on my computer? Is it even possible. Any ideas and/or help would be appreciated.

I have been successfully creating interactive PDFs by developing SWFs in Adobe Animate and then porting them into InDesign then exporting them. Hurray! My question... will I still be able to create these interactive PDFs after 2020? Thanks.

Flashplayer ActiveX, NPAPI or PPAPI 32.0.0.255 do not upgrade over version 32.0.0.233.  Instead, you see two separate versions installed in Programs and Features.  In the past, the latest version always upgraded over the previous version.

so I have an swf file embedded into a google site that i createdI want to access this swf, by using the URL to the google site which contains oonly the swf file embedded into itso, i type this into flash projector and it starts to load, but then i get an error basically telling me I need to update my swf file, which is untrue as the downloaded version worksthe issue is, in order to get it to run on the downloaded swf i have to ADD the file to trusted location settingsI need to know how to essentially trust this URL if that makes sense. I need the fix for allowing this URL accessThe reason I am comng to you guys is if this works, I will need to buy a subcription to photoshop and indesign, to further my project.  Please help!

im trying to download the recent flash player 11.2 or whatever for school to do the live lessons and its telling me its already updated to the latest ...        

My chrome has Flash Player downloaded but not working in an app for work called TicketAgent through Vendini. I have a Mac.

Hi!I created an interactive PDF using Indesign, and for some reason when i export the file, and open it with acrobat the videos in the PDF file dont work.theres an error messege: "to view the flash technology content in the pdf file, please install the requierd version of flash player."when i try to get in the link to the version theres an 404 error and i cant download this specific version of flash.please help!!

Hi. I have installed Flash player On Win 10 running Edge. I have aktivated the Flash player in the advanced settings, but still being asked to aktivate the flash player every time on different sites. The choice then is "aktivate once". I have to keep doing this. Why? Thank you.

Hi Sujatha, I have been told I need to update my flash player, and to do this, first need to uninstall my current one.  I'm having trouble with this, as there are so many steps...which are confusing to me!

In system preferences under adobe flash player it states "the settings on this page are not applicable to google chrome or chromium based browsers (PPAPI)". The problem is, I am not using or even have google chrome installed, and instead use safari on mac with NPAPI. This is verified when I check flash settings on the adobe site, so I don't understand how to remove this PPAPI notice or how it even happened.  Now many web pages are messing up with wrong formatting and not loading completly. I have tried unistalling and re-installing NPAPI adobe flash, but end up with the same notice about PPAPI. I can't figure out how to get my safari browsing back to normal like it was before, but as of now whether flash is installed or not I have problems loading and playing websites when I did not before.  Any kind of help would be appreciated, I can't seem to find any info on this online that does not involve already being on google chrome, which I'm not.  Thanks.
