Hi, everybody 🙂I was working on a project and out of nowhere Illustrator started showing very strange behavior while working with texts. When I add a stroke to a word, Illustrator is adding it to the whole line of text after the word. If I make a letter/symbol invisible (no color), Illustrator make the whole line of text disappear, if the word is in the begining of the line, or doesn’t make the letter/symbol invisible at all, if the letter/symbol/word is in the middle of the line of text. This happens in Illustrator 2025, 2024 and 2023. 2022 has no such problem. If I open an old file, from the day before yesterday or create a new one in ver. 2022, in 2025-2023, everything is fine, but if I create a new file in any version after 2022, the problem is there. I’m uploading a short video.It seems the issue presents itself only with 100%K (black). If the color is different - no problem.I’ll appreciate if someone can help with this. It drives me nuts at this point.     <T

This is a center pt of the circle. I wish to use this center pt as center pt of the curved image to rotate it. Therefore I have to fixed this center pt wheh it appears when selecting the circle, then only I can fix to rotate the curved image. Is it possibe to get center pt fixed?   

Have a large dimension Illustrator file, but still within the supposed limits of 227": it is 214.25" tall, 61" wide. When trying to place it in Photoshop to check placement, the top 10-12" or so appear truncated, bounding box show around the truncated/cut off part. Tried to save a PDF & place that instead, but get a "The dimensions of this page are out-of-range" error. Running version 29.1. Just did a similar file that had 221" wide x `115" tall and didn't get the same errors. All the parameters list that up to 227" in both directions should be supported. Artboard shows the right dimension.

i'm new to illustrator.Placed a png with a transparent background in my document. Top hand in screenshot.Trying to match line thicknesses.Stroke weighrt does nothing. image trace getrs rid of transparency.I'm trying to make it a font with fontself, so probably needs to be a vector, but i'm n ew to illustrator so i don't know how to resolve this.

Hello,Up to Illustrator 2021, importing a DXF created by Lectra Modaris the entities remained correctly grouped by size (I'm talking about fabric patterns).Starting from Illustrator 2022 onwards, importing the same file, all the entities are exploded into single elements separate from each other, so I no longer have shapes but single points, lines, etc.I have the problem with MacOS but I verified that the same thing happens with Windows too.I chatted with Adobe technical support but the technician told me that "it is a disabled feature and that perhaps it will be implemented again in the future, but he has no idea if and when" Anyone having the same problem?

Am I correct in thinking you cannot export without saving first? I saved and exported my illustrator file, uploaded the exported png to a google drive. Now two days later I am looking for the ai and png file and they are both gone. Missing from my recently opened and where I thought I saved it. Has this happened to anyone else? There was no error that popped up or anything. I presumed it was autosaving every two minutes like all my other files. I save over old files to update them but only the old one is there?  I have looked everywhere on onedrive and my computer for the file but it seems to be gone.

Hi - I cannot figure out how to view a single layer in Illustrator in Outline Mode as demonstrated here: https://youtu.be/HoXy4q0UGEY?t=166According to the video, I should be able to Command+Click the layer's eyeball icon to view it in Outline Mode, or double-click the layer and select it there.  But neither option is working. I can view the entire document in Outline Mode by going to view or using Command+Y, but that's not what I need.Can anyone offer assistance?Has this functionality been removed?If so, why?Thanks,Mike

Dear Sir or Madam,I would like to share an issue I’ve encountered, as shown in the attached image.Currently, the stroke unit can be adjusted via the Preferences > Units > Stroke settings. It would be extremely helpful if this setting could also be made accessible directly from the Stroke panel as a shortcut. Being able to quickly switch between measurement units is particularly important for us during production workflows. Therefore, we kindly ask you to consider adding a shortcut to the Stroke panel for easier access to unit settings. Thank you for your attention and support. Best regards, Taylan Tekin

Hi, as ever I'm probably missing something obvious here, but if you've worked something up in the perspective grid, then decide you want to revert that element to a 'flat' look instead, is there a way of reverting it back to that pure 2D flat-on look? 

Hi all, First, I have to say a big thanks. The export speed for JPEGs using the "Export for Screens" option has increased from around 30 seconds to nearly instantaneous for me on AI 2020. This, along with background export, was one of my top requests and I am so grateful that it's been added. Next, a story of heartbreak. For many of my exports using this method, I now get jagged edges, especially on round edges and especially at angles. Please see attached examples. The file "TestLayout_Overall_01.jpg" was exported using the new "Export for Screens" dialog and has jagged edges on the oval shape. These jagged edges are not present when exporting from File > Export As, but this latter method takes much longer to export, particularly for large artboards which I use frequently. So, is there anything I can do to make the jagged edges go away? I am using "Art Optimized" in both places and exporting at 300dpi in both places. Is this an anti aliasing issue? Help! I'm in

As the title says, after viewing my project in presentation mode and exiting it by pressing esc, my cursor disappears. But it only goes invisible, stuff still highlights and such when hovered over it but I cannot see where my cursor is (aka the pointing triangle thing) unless it is hovering above an interactable button/object. This has happened multiple times since updating to Illustrator 2025, happens more often when I enter presentation mode AND use the arrow keys to navigate between artboards and only way I've been able to fix it is by shutting down the program and re-launching it. Does anyone also have this issue? Any tips on how to fix it?

In illustrator sometimes when i go into presentation mode and close it my cursor disappears. I can not click anything in illustrator an i need to close it in my task manager. Does someone have the same issue? Let me know if you have an fix!

I opted for a team package with several licenses, and created a new project where I moved all my Illustrator. My aim was to give my whole team access to it. The problem is that now I've got holes in my work plans, and some images have disappeared from my board. Why and how can I fix this, please?

En tres ocasiones me ha salido este error en illustrator al guardar mis archivos, y empieza a desaparecer la imagen, al copiarlo todo y pegar en otra mesa de trabajo tampoco me sale nada es como si hubiera elementos pero no genera la imagen ni textos nada como un archico vacio, en una ocasión se daño el archivo porque guarda como si no tuviera nada y me toca exportar como pantalla un AI ya que en pdf me descompone todo lo que sea fotos por partes y de esa manera no me deja editar el contenido, alguien sabe a qué se debe este error? 

Hi guys,I have the problem that the UI of Illustrator and InDesign is too small. Photoshop and Muse scale the UI just fine, whereas InDesign's and Illustrator's interface is not usable. In the settings, the scaling is already set to the highest value, so I do not understand why the UI is still small. It is a very frustrating issue, since it is a real pain to work with these small icons. I am on a Thinkpad T570 with a 4K-Panel, Windows 10 scaling is set to 250%. I added a screenshot where you can see the difference between the UI of PS and ID.Thanks in advance for your help!

Using the Recolor Artwork window, sometimes I want to find a better color match by double clicking on the new color and scrolling through that specific swatchbook, but with Adobe 2025 I can't scroll using my mouse wheel. However, if I uninstall 2025 and revert back to 2024, it scrolls just fine. I don't want to revert for this small issue, but it's really starting to get on my nerves not being able to scroll in this window. Help!

Hello Team, I have a bitly QR code saved as a .PNG.  I have created an artboard that includes a background and i'd like to add my QR code to the corner of this artboard.  Can you please share best practices for adding my QR code to this artboard so it is clear and able to be scanned. Thank You!

Hey there, Newbie here. I managed to create a book cover in Illustrator, get it uploaded to Amazon KDP print (massive thanks to you guys helping me with last problem!!!!) and, after a fine proof copy, hit publish on Amazon. So far so good. Reader copies look nearly as good as the proof, so I know my original file can create a satisfactory printed cover. However, when I try to create a PDF of the cover for Ingram Spark (the necessary second printer for bookstores and libraries) the file suddenly gets very thin white lines/rectangles around many of the images, esp along the spine. Presumably, these will show up on the final book cover if they're in the PDF. Question is: how do I get rid of them? Ingram Spark requires the PDF be either X-1a:2001 or X-3:2002, so that's what I'm selecting when I save a copy as PDF in Illustrator. If I save it as Illustrator Default PDF, the file is fine--no lines/boxes. Here's a screenshot of the PDF with the lines. You might have to loo
