I accidentally pushed a button on the right side of my screen that turned everything white with black outlines. I can't figure out what I pushed and crtl+z didn't undo it. Please help! Thanks!!! (below is what my screen looks like)

I'm on the lookout for a simple script to sort an Illustrator artboard list alphabetically. (I don't need the artboards themselves rearranged on the canvas, just the order of the artboards in the list.)In the example (image) below, the artboard list reads:1. life-ring2. wheelchair-alt3. wheelchair4. information...30. blind-walkingThe desired result would be for the artboard list itself to be sorted to read:1. assistive-listening2. assistive-listening-telecoil3. blind-walking4. braille...30. wheelchair-altI've scoured the forums for solutions to this. The closest I could find is here: Sort artboards by name, but it doesn't seem to work in Illustrator CC. Also found this (How to sort objects alphabetically (inside of a layer)?), but it is layer-specific, not artboard.Thanks so much for any help!

O meu Illustrator estava funcionando corretamente. Porém quando fui abrir ele, ele pede para aceitar os termos de uso. Porém eu não consigo clicar em ACEITAR é como se estivesse congelado. Já reinstalei diversas vezes. Sem sucesso. Alguém sabe como corrigir?

Hi all, For a fantasy poster i want to set this PNG image I edited in Photoshop with transparency and color layers/layer mask in 3D with 3D & Materials, but now its now working, even when i'm doing Image Trace I get only a sketch.I want the image without background. What can I do?  

Hello. I'm creating a logo for a house painting business, and they would like to replace the cross stroke in the A with what looks like a stroke of a wide bristle paintbrush. I've made the path; they love the design, but none of the available brushes look realistic when they're 10pt wide. How do I make the path look like it was actually painted? Right now I have the path bordered top and bottom, but in the end I want the white space to be the brush stroke and the borders removed. I'm sure it's a simple answer, but because of the language (brush/paintbrush) my searches turn up the wrong topics.

Update the program, finished. Open the artboard screen, it is closed and black. But when I click to move the artboard, it is visible. When I release the mouse, the artboard is blocked by a black screen. The tool window can be used normally. How can I fix this? 

Estou com Problemas para salvar meus arquivos Sempre que clico em 'salvar como' aparece uma caixa cinza sem opções nenhuma para que eu consiga salvar o arquivo que estou editando. Já tentei alguns tutoriais que ja vi dentro da Comunidade do Adobe, mas nada resolve meu problema, além de que a nuvem tambem nunca esta sincronizada nos aplcativos que eu utilizo sendo que ja atualizei o Creative Cloud e não tem nada pendente. Alguem por favor consegue me ajudar?? 

 I have a keyline and I have to add a design. As you can see the keyline isn't straight and is arced and wobbly. I was thinking of making the design and then use the arc option. Is making it as a brush or symbol better? What is the best way to do it.

Good morning,I'm experiencing a significant problem with the automation of my saving process in Adobe Illustrator, which is severely slowing down my workflow.I'm managing a project that requires saving 32 distinct artboards, each with specific dimensions and destination paths. Previously, I automated this process by creating custom actions in Illustrator. Each action included the following steps:"Save for Web"Resizing by percentageRenaming the fileFinal savingOnce these actions were recorded, I would associate each artboard with its corresponding recorded action and press "play" for a completely automatic save.Unfortunately, this process no longer works as it used to. Why is it stuck like this, it's completely frustrating. this is in the essentials classic workspace. and I've already reset it.   

Trato de hacer trazados sin que se cambie lu perfil y su definicion pero cuando hago otro trazado se cambia al estilo caligrafico, y no me beneficia a eso, se cambia automaticamente aun asi que haga trazos nuevos o use uno mismo, Como lo soluciono? que tengo que hacer?

Hey everyone, after updating to the newest version of Illustrator, I can't work with it anymore. As soon as I click on it, it loads as usual, but then it shows me this "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error" message. After I click "Okay", Illustrator opens, but it doesn't show anything besides the menu and I can't even open a new file or anything else, which means I can't use it anymore. Please help. 

The CC Library for Adobe Illustrator (updated to the current version 29.5.1) keeps freezing on Mac. Repeated restarts, along with closing and reopening the Library panel, do not work. Worse, when it does, clicking on one library asset activates another. This has been going on for months now. Any possible fixes?You also know the CC Library panel is frozen because when you resize the Illustrator app window, the Library panel simply gets "deformed" and is squished like a .jpeg file. 

Hi all,this happened to me a few times. Not alot, but I'm curious and would like to know the cause of it.• Black colour text ---> Select text, create outline ---> Text changes to path but a black box appears infront and covers the pathed text.I can guess it has something to do with object fill. But I'm unable to pin point or recreate the issue on a fresh text box to prove it.Would anyone know of the cause.The solution is simple, delete the black box and I will see my pathed text, but I'm worried that I may missed it if i'm working on a huge artwork.If I do miss it and send the artwork to print, I'll be doomed. So best to know that cause and avoid the mistake from happening.Thank you

Since getting help on this forum, one of my problems was solved but many more problems came up. The link to the thread is at the bottom.  Long story short, my fonts weren't syncing in AI. I got help and solved it by running the log collector and cloud cleaner tool. Fonts are all good now but my export settings and color profiles are all messed up. Hi, I've found a workaround for this, but I'm posting in case anyone knows a better solution (or needs a workaround.)I've been opening DWGs made using Autodesk Civil 3d, without any problem for the last 2 years.This week, my PC was upgraded to Win11 and I now have C3d 2026 and Illustrator both as fresh installs of the latest versions.And suddenly I can't open DWGs without seeing the error in the title of this post.The work around I've found is to save the DWG to Cad release2000 or to save as an r12 DXF. Those will now work.I noticed that Illustrator's open dialogue no longer lists Autocad DWG. It lists Autodesk Trueview DWG.Does Adobe no longer work with Cad release 2018 DWGs? (Which is the default version for C3d.)I can export to older versions if I have to, but I'd rather fix it, if it's just a setting I need to alter somewhere.Can anyone advise, please?

Hello, I just updated Illustrator yesterday and noticed an issue. When I place images, especially profile photos, into my design and embed them, the colors change. They appear desaturated. I'm working in CMYK, and I never had this problem in the previous version. Has anyone experienced this or knows a fix? I’d really appreciate any help. 

This is getting tiresome. Randomly whilst working in illustrator copy past commands, Ctrl C/Ctrl Z just stop working. No explanation no indication why. I have to select the items then goto the edit menu to do the controls. Windows 11 latest build but its been doing this for months. Auto update is on, latest illustrator. Only does this in illustrator any other app on my computer including other adobe ones,  works just fine, only in illustrator.

Hi everyone,I’m working on a packaging design in Adobe Illustrator 2024 where I need to punch through small vector shapes (like stars and outlined text) using the Shape Builder Tool so that the box material shows through underneath (i.e. not printed with white ink). The goal is to subtract these from a background shape and leave transparent holes for print.Problem:This process has become extremely slow:Each option+click lags for 2–3 secondsIllustrator becomes sluggish after a few dozen deletionsUsing a MacBook Pro M1 2020 (8GB RAM)I've attached a screenshot showing what I’m working with.Question:Is there a faster or more efficient way to “punch through” multiple small outlined shapes from a background shape using Shape Builder without the performance hit?I'd really appreciate any tips or workflow tweaks that could help. This is for a commercial print job and time is tight, so speeding this up would save a ton of frustration.Thanks in advance!
