Hallo,ich suche beim neuen Illustrator die Möglichkeit, eine Linie / Kontur als Doppel-Linie anzulegen.Ging kürzlich noch bei Kontur einfach/doppelt.Ist jetzt verschwunden, finde das auch nicht mehr.HILFE!!DANKE

Illustrator was working fine a few days ago. Today, it crashes on launch with an, "Unknown error has occured, (25,700) Adobe Illustrator will now quit. I uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted the computer several times and all updates are current. There is no problem starting other applications.

How do I change the page order / print order of artboards in Illustrator CS6? I know it was a much griped-about neglect in previous versions once artboards were introduced, but surely it has been fixed by now. It's just I can't figure out how to do it. It is not intuitive by any means.

While I was using Illustrator, the font drop down menu that was visible right next to the character panel suddenly disappeared. Now I have to click on the character panel every time I want to switch fonts. Is there a way to have the font drop down menu appear back on the control panel?

I can't proportionally scale my vector shape by holding shift button in AI

Hello,I'm very new to illustrator and I don't know the program very well. I have been plugging along and editing one element at a time, but now the selection of one object continues to select every object in the whole art piece. This makes it unable for me to keep editing one piece at a time. Not sure how to get it to go back and allow me to edit one element at a time. No matter what I click on it continues to select everything. Any thoughts? Thank you

Hey there, I'm used to my rectangles having lines that I'm able to use to align everyting perfectly, but i must have clicked something and now my rectangles no longer have their "lines". They still have their strokes, but the "lines" aren't there. Here's a pic:  I'm assuming I clicked a setting, but I can't find anything here or on Google that tells me how to set it back. Thank you! 

I'm trying to automate finding and replacement certain fonts as an action in Illsutrator. After recording, I tried to play the action, but it only opened the Find and Replace font window without changing the fonts. I still have to manually select the source and target fonts myself.  Is there a way where I can actually get Actions to do this? 

Following the language setting change guide of the Creative Cloud app,I changed the language from Korean to English in the configuration setting, deleted the Ai app and then reinstalled it.I tried to find a solution, but there was only a solution for WindowsIf anyone knows a solution for MacBooks, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

Hi Adobe Team,I’m writing to report an issue and suggest an improvement for the new Pencil tool in Illustrator 2025. While I appreciate the new underlying tech and features like smart path closing and straight-line support, the current "Accurate" preset is not accurate enough for many artists and illustrators.In previous versions, I was able to draw with much more control and fidelity, especially for detailed hand-drawn shapes. Now, even at the lowest smoothing level, the tool over-simplifies strokes, resulting in fewer anchor points but also a significant loss in precision. The tool feels disconnected from natural hand movement.I’d like to request either:The return of the Fidelity and Smoothness sliders, orA new "High Fidelity" preset with behavior similar to previous versions (e.g., Fidelity at 1px, Smoothness at 0%).Also, the inability to lower fidelity below 2.5 pixels is a major limitation for those who rely on Illustrator for sketching or character design. Please consider bringin

It seems like in the last week an update has made my color managment options within the print dialogue inoperable.  No longer can I apply a printer profile or make any changes as every option is greyed out.  Any ideas as to why this is happening?  This issue presents with both existing files as well as with a brand new file. No changes have been made to the color space of the files, nor is there any new hardware.  Thanks!

I was working on my final project in the Illustrator application two weeks ago. Today, when I opened my file, I noticed that only the beginning of my project was saved, and despite taking a backup, the file disappeared. It feels like my final project suddenly vanished. I pay to use Illustrator to enhance my skills, and is this really happening?

This one's for Monika for sure! 😉I have two type objects (or it could be one type and one path). I am trying to add a stroke to the combined path but whatever I do, I am not getting what I want.I have attached a file where I show:1- the two type objects.2- the two type objects, each converted to shape with a stroke around it.3- Grouped objects, added Path FX Add. The stroke is how I want it but anything I tried to get to show the text again fails.Is there are non-destructive way out (in other words, with FX)?This is for CS4.Thanks.

So my understanding is that symbols using the "movie clip" setting can be animaited (web reports as "in Flash" but it must be some other more modern software since Flash is dead).  Why do ALL new symbols default to "Movie Clip" and why can't I set the default to "Graphic"? And is there a difference if there's never any intention to animate anything? Is there a performance hit between the two or something? I can read what the internet says about them, but it's rather ambiguous other than stating "movie clip" is for animation. Even the Adobe help files (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/symbols.html) seem to lack ANY explanation for the different "export types".  Of note: Help file are also vacant of any explanation regarding the two "symbol types" - Dynamic and Static.    

Hello All, i have the newest update to Illustrator and have been a designer for almost 30 years. This is a new one for me. I am working on some artwork. I click on another file and go bnack to this file and all of a sudden I can't move any of the points with my mouse. If I use arrows it works, I can aslo Use Isolated Select Path to adjust. But I have lost the ability to select points and move them freely on the regular. Now its doing it with ALL of my files. I have shutdown and restarted, I have restarted the app multiple. This is slowing my workflow down immensely. This just started happening about two weeks ago. When I retart the machine in the mornings, the app works fine. Then after a while, it starts doing this again. No workaround has helped. This is getting old. I shouldn't have these issues with how much I spend on this software!

Hello in the AI version, I am not able to move selected objects via my cursor and touch pad. Its quite irritating and a company like Adobe should fix such bugs. 

Hello!A colleague of mine is experiencing an issue with the Shape Builder Tool in Illustrator. She's digitizing a sketch to create a logo, and after creating all the necessary paths to serve as a base, she tried using the Shape Builder Tool to combine them into final shapes.However, when she activates the tool, the live preview highlights incorrect shapes, which are quite different from what the visible paths that the tool should logically create (as shown in the attached screenshots). There are unexpected white gaps, and when she clicks to confirm the shape, it’s created exactly as shown in the incorrect preview, not based on the actual path intersections.She’s already tried the following with no success:- the good old restarting the computer- uninstalling and reinstalling the same version of Illustrator- installing an older version of Illustrator- recreating everything in a brand new fileNothing has solved the issue so far. Any idea what could be causing this?  

 Mac OS 15.3.2/Illustrator 29.3.1 Apply a few gradients to a shape via the Appearance Panel... Go to edit one of the gradients by selecting the gradient tool... the Appearance Panel gets truncated to just a stroke and fill....  Note that the Stroke and Opacity can not be changed for a color stop in the Appearance Panel.. so those two items are, well, pointless. The only thing which can change in this truncated Appearance Panel is the fill. In order to adjust ANY other appearance attributes a user must first switch to another tool. Appearance attributes simply can not be edited with the Gradient Tool active. Best I can see this is only an issue with the Gradient Tool. Expected behavior is selecting the Gradient Tool does not alter the Appearance Panel display. The full object Appearance stack should be visible with the Gradient Tool selected. (Tried posting to user voice but there's a password loop I can't get around.. wrong password.. reset.. wrong passwor

No matter what version of Illustrator, the color of the clipping mask will be wrong when the eyedropper tool is used, causing me to lose a lot of money.

Is it possible to remove old host apps from attach windows?  

Hello community,This bug is becoming the most frustrating thing that has ever happened to Illustrator for many many years.It's that simple, one on every two times I launch Illustrator the GPU preview is broken. I have updated Windows 11 Pro and updated both graphic cards on my laptop, and it keeps breaking and breaking... I even refreshed all my settings, and it keeps doing it. How come this lingers around for so many years?How come there is no warning or no workaround to prevent or fix this issue before it happens or knowing that it has happened?How come the CPU preview is still a thing?So many questions... still no answers nor solutions. System:Windows 11 Pro - Version 23H2 - OS build 22631.3447Graphic:NVIDIA RTX 3500 Ada Generation Laptop GPU 551.86 - up-to-dateIntel UHD Graphics - up-to-dateIf anyone knows what is happening... thanks!

Hello Adobe team, I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would significantly improve the workflow for many users: the ability to select multiple handles (anchor point direction handles) and manipulate them simultaneously.Currently, it’s only possible to adjust handles one at a time, which makes fine-tuning more time-consuming and less precise — especially when working with similar curves across different points. A feature that allows users to select and move multiple handles at once — either proportionally or freely — would greatly enhance efficiency. This functionality would add even more power to the Direct Selection tool and give users greater control and speed when working with complex vector shapes.Thank you for considering this suggestion, and for the amazing work you continue to do with Illustrator!
