I am currently working in Adobe Illustrator 2020, but this has happened to me since at least 2018-2019:I will create an RGB document, create my RGB swatches (the brand colors I use are unsaturated pastel colors) and after working with the file for a while (dragging screenshots in, playing with text layout, etc...) My unsaturated pastel colors will randomly change to a hypersaturated brighter more vibrant color. It really destroys my productivity since I end up having to go back and adjust all colors before export. I never see the actual change occur, its almost as if it happens when I have the window hidden and am looking at something else. The only thing I can image that could be causing this is when I drag in screenshots since they are foreign to the document. I've attached screenshots of what the color starts as, and what it consistently changes to in all my documents.  

I got a file that was shared to me and includes several linked images,the image previews are shown in the file, and yes the links are broken, but thats not a problem for me.What im trying is to get rid of some annoying popup that appears every 2 minutes bloking my whole system "Verifiyin access to 'some IP here'", its really frustrating.Do someone know how to get rid of this popup, setting to avoid illustrator to check this url, or something?PS: Yes I have found several post here, but no one got a right answer.PS2: No, I dont have access to that drive, not will ever.

Hope you guys and gals can help.I'm looking to get a new laptop, been using a MSI Apache Pro for the last 7 years, but it is time to upgrade.I will be using my laptop for creating SVGs using Adobe Illustrator, I also create documents, stream a little of Netflix and hoping to order the Wacom Movink 13.  Previously did a lot of photo editing using Lightroom, so might go back to that at sometime.  My budget is max £2k, preferably less.  I don't want a touchscreen.Was thinking 32gb, 1TB SSD, not sure whether an intel core ultra 7, 16 core is enough.  I'm sure it is.It's so hard to decide, Samsung, MSI, HP, Dell..... Can anyone give any recommendations.  Technology moves on so fast, I'm lost.

I'm looking to upgrade from an iMac to a 16" MacBook Pro (and buy a larger external screen for desktop use).  I'm a medium user of mostly Illustrator , InDesign and Photoshop. I'd appreciate views on the below options that are within budget. I'd like to keep it for 5 years+ so I'm thinking about future-proofing too. With Adobe programmes, is RAM or SSD more important? Opinions please!! Is the M4 Max processor worth it? Or would the M4 Pro do? Is 512GB SSD going to hamper me? Option 1 - MacBook Pro 16", M4 Pro Processor, 48GB RAM, 512GB SSDOption 2 - MacBook Pro 16", M4 Max Processor, 36GB RAM, 1TB SSD  Thanks guys.

No puedo copiar o cortar y luego pegar lo copiado.Este comportamiento es aleatorio, de pronto funciona y por ejemplo hoy me permitió hacerlo una vez y luego nunca más.No hice ningún cambio en mi ordenador que pueda justificar un error de este tipo. No instalé nada nuevo ni cambié nada en la configuración.Alguien sabe cómo solucionar este problema?

This has been causing major hiccups in my designing. I design with type a lot as a branding & packaging designer and this makes me want to scream. I keep hitting esc to get out of the text box/type tool, and then v to switch to select tool, and it. is. not. working. And it's leaving me with a lot of 'v's throughout my txt boxes and it's causing me to have spelling erros on client work that I don't catch because I'm so used to this.Plus it is slowing me down so much as this was a shortcut I CONSTANTLY use. WHY did this change? HOW Can I change it back? I will do anything for this to come back.

Hi, when converting the font to outlines in Illustrator and then exporting to PDF (PDF/X-1a:2001), the letter "L" in the text appears to be written in a thicker weight than the rest of the letters. How is this possible, and how can it be fixed? Thanks and greetings from the Czech Republic. Lenka

Whenever I save this PDF pages in the middle go missing. They load in as blank and I've never had this problem before. The first photo is a screenshot of the art boards in illustrator. The second is the saved PDF with missing pages. I've also attached a photo of my PDF setting that I am saving with.  

Hello, I have a problem with the CPU preview. When I press Ctrl + Y/Ctrl + E, the screen freezes until I switch back to normal mode. I tried solutions from the Adobe community, but they don't work for me, and I see that they are from 2017.

Hello.  Firstly, thank you for what you do. I was wondering if you have a tool that I haven't found yet that a writer can use to illustrate stories. I am having a problem finding a tool that can produce a storyboard where you can produce consistent looking characters from one scene to another, or a tool where an amateur artist can input drawings of the major characters and have the AI produce those characters in different settings throughout the book. If there is such a feature available I would be very interested in using it. 

Hello. I need help. I created a file last month and now I cannot open is. I get the message "The file sample.ai is in an uknown format and cannot be opened"This has happened to some files. I saved them in different options and I get this message.I deleted the app. Re installed it an nothing.Also the app was up to date, no third party plugins. The app is crushing 2 times a week. My computer is bright new with higher requirements than adobe needs. I need the files back. This is happening is ai files and in eps files.Any thoughts? Thank you

I don't know about overall, but in my opinion, Illustrator has gotten worse:The Eyedropper tool constantly copies colors with errors, making changes, so I have to check it every time.The Type tool recently started setting the font I used before, even after I changed it—it still reverts to the previous one.I'm not very satisfied with the product lately.

I was told that if i purchased adobe illustrator that i could use it on my ipad and desktop they keep sending me the same link over and over to check requirements but i do not see how one purchase lets you use it on both ipad and desktop it looks like you purchase it twice but then you have your work on two different devices instead of being able to work on the same illistration on both applications 

Hi.I don't know how to word this well. I'm inexperienced with illustrator.I have two paths i want to combine and retain some pieces of. when using the pathfinder in this way, i get half of what i want. i want to retain this one intersection line. how should i do this?

English:Some shortcuts use the opening and closing square bracket keys [ and ], particularly those relating to the size of the tool.My question is twofold:on my AZERTY keyboard, I don't actually have [ ] keys. You have to type ( or ) parenthesis keys, combined with the Alt Gr key. But in Illustrator it doesn't work; I tried with all sorts of combinations of Alt, Shift, Alt Gr.... The size of the tool remains the same. In the default configuration, how is this supposed to work?how can I define custom keys for "tool size up" and "tool size down" ? French:Certains racourcis utilisent les touches crochets ouvrants et fermants [ ] , particulièrement ceux relatifs à la taille de l'outil.Ma question est double:sur mon clavier AZERTY, je n'ai pas à proprement parler de touches [ ]. Hi, I've been dealing with this for a long time, since export replaced the old "save for web" command. When I have linked images placed at ANY angle different from 0º the exported artboard results in pixelation. This doesn't happen if I use the legacy Save For Web command. This is makes the multiple artboard export completelly useless, because if I want to avoid pixelation, I have to export every artboard individually. This also happens to EMBEDDED images which I don't use since it makes the file size too big and slow. I'm attaching two images of the same file, one was created with EXPORT command and the other with SAVEFORWEB.  

The issue started with the new version of illustrator.  Deleting the tspan element caused errors in the SVG file we saved the CAD file to. We have always used save as "SVG 1.1" from our DWG files and the issue is that the elements have changed in the file when we do this. To resolve the issue and remove the elements it requires opening the SVG in notes then searching for the extra element that needs to be deleted which is a very tedious manual process.

There is a bug that is preventing text boxes from being resizable with the direct selection tool. Mac OS 14.5, Illustrator Version 29.0.1 (I can't check if it's up to date bc Creative Cloud won't load the Apps tab lol). To replicate: paste text into a textbox so that it is overset. Deselect all objects. Use the Direct Select tool to try and select two anchor points on the same side by clicking and dragging. Result: the entire text box is selected, instead of simply the 2 anchor points you tried to select. You can even deselect the other 2 anchor points, and try to edit the text box, but the entire thing will be selected regardless of the visual indicator of selection. I am honestly running into more and more bugs in Illlustrator over the years, and they never seem to be getting fixed. Can we expect this software to be supported in the future?

I need many objects to be lets say 10cm each. When I select them all and they are different sizes, they become 10 cm in total. I need them to be 10 cm each.
