Create Swatch Info seems to be a great new feature, but limited.I work in signage printing with HP Large Format Printers. Clients are always asking to match a colour. My question is how can I use the "Create Swatch Info" to print a Pantone Colour book?It has no option to make the book A4 or to fit a certain amount of swatches to a page

Hello, when i use pencil tool it automatically has no stroke. It's transparent. 

I have tried copying all the new artwork files and new files but it didn't work, and tried restarting my macbook but it's still the same...  

On my new Mac with M4 Max chip  running OS Sequoia 15.1 my Illustrator 3D files don't work. I have tons of memory. Even after updating to latest Illustrator version (29.3.1), restarting machine, etc, Doesn't work, get errors. Even if I make a new file, create a single square and try to extrude or any other 3D feature get error. I drop object into asset manager and try 3D & Materials, everything errors out. See screen shots. Please don't tell me to restart or update software. Thoughts?

Good afternoon everyone, I would like to present a situation:Has it not happened to you that when creating a PATTERN to use in a vectorized figure, you find out that the pattern needs to be able to rotate its appearance instead of just appearing 100% horizontally?And to adapt the pattern to a shape with a round appearance, the pattern needs to adopt a modification to “curve” it so that it can adapt better and have a more congruent aesthetic appearance?So the idea that I would propose for the Adobe community and hoping that it can be carried out for future features, is that these new functions can be integrated into the creation of patterns such as the “Create envelope / deformation options” and the “Transform panel” options so that they can be modified and better adapted to our creations.I appreciate your attention

So one year ago i got message about migration of files. I had contact and we decided i continue on operational console account. Now couple days ago my account membership got finished. And from student account i switched to normal account. Now my files are lost i put on the operational consoles surfsport account. How can i get them back? Thanks

Hello, I have been creating vector graphics for some time. I sometimes consider using this Generative Shape Fill in simple projects. What do copyright laws look like? In other words, I draw the shape manually and then fill it using this function. What does the sale of, for example, a poster with graphics used in this way look like?      

Apple's newly launched Vision Pro is a pretty exciting tool for content creation and design, and I was hoping that either Adobe would be there at launch with a number of native apps, or at least looking forward to installing and using iPadOS versions of apps on the new spatial computer. Unfortunately, it appears that Adobe has blocked Illustrator and Photoshop from being installed on Vision Pro.  Can you shed light on why the apps have been blocked, and when we can expect either compatibility with the iPadOS release or a native VisionOS version?

When updating yesterday from 29.3.0 to 29.3.1 Illustrator lost the handles in the text placeholder, e.g. the frame text has no scaling handles, nor the right side clickpoint for changing to pixeltext, but only corner points.Anybody else have the same issue, and maybe a solution? Min was to reinstall 29.3.0 for the moment. I had a routine earlier fro reporting beta issues but maybe that works only for installed beta releases... 

So I finally upgraded to Sonoma from Monterey, and I'm getting this warning when I open Illustrator that it is being launched in "Rosetta mode" and that I need to run it in "ARM native mode".  I don't know what any of this means. I don't use any third-party apps, but I might in the future for all I know. Is this basically just saying that eventually Ai will only run in ARM mode and that, if I want to use third-party apps, I'll also have to use the Rosetta emulator? It sounds like I just need to run in ARM mode and cross any Rosetta bridges when I come to them. If so, how do I go about running in ARM mode?

I tried to add multiple 3D materials in illustrator and now I can not open the 3D tab without illustrator freezing. It seems the upload was part way through so it never opened and now i can not get back to before the upload state. it seems to remain stuck half way through. Can anyone offer ideas 

Hello! I'm an incredibly experienced Adobe user and this is driving me mad. For some reason, the properties panel, tools panel, etc. are disconnected from the Canvas itself. I want to dock my panels into the canvas, rather than having the canvas floating around, but I can only dock these panels to the Mac screen. Any help?

Hi all, I'm working on a project in Illustrator and when I export the file, the long shadow looks HORRIBLE. Does anyone have any fixes for this? I'm using the blend tool for this effect- it looks great in illustrator and passable in PDF, but any other image format destroys the appearance of the blend. 

Guten Tag zusammen,ich möchte eine Kontur erstellen, die zwei Farben beinhaltet, quasi wie im Beispielbild. Leider kann ich nur eine Farbe auswählen. Muss ich um meine erstellte Kontur eine zweite passgenau anfügen? Meine Kontur habe ich mit dem Kurvenzeichner erstellt.Sollte ich eine zweite benötigen, wie kann ich diese andocken lassen, damit keine Lücken entstehen? Im Beispielbild wurden zwei Konturen passgenau gezeichnet, leider kenne ich den Urheber nicht, sonst würde ich den fragen. Auf einer Karte sollen quasi einzelne Gebiete farblich voneinander getrennt werden. Vielen Dank vorab für die Hilfe. Gruß,Thomas

This new version of Illustrator isn't allowing me to use the magic wand tool for some reason.Eample: I want to select all the objects in my file that are blue and delete them. The tool won't even allow me to select anything. What's going on?

Hi everybody, I'm tackling logos and letters for pretty much the first itme in a long time. I have this X connected at the end of a word and I want to extend the right half of the X into perpetuity. I've tried the Scale Tool trying to stretch one ''line" of dots at a time, but it's still...wonky.  Is there a procedural tool of some kind that I can use to stretch out the legs of this X without a bunch of mouse and guide play? Now, I'm not scaling, just stretching (or attempting to). If anybody has any suggestions, I'd be thrilled. Thanks for reading. 🙂

Hey, so I just found out copying between Illustrator 2025 and Animate 2024 is now broken.Elements are pasted appear in negetive colors, when choosing "paste as bitmap" option it ignores the command and pastes as shapes (with reveresd colors).Please help!

Why did the colors become different when exporting all images from Illustrator?

Hello Adobe Community,I am trying to develop an extension for Illustrator 2025 (v29.3.1), but I have noticed that CEP (Common Extensibility Platform) is no longer supported in this version. Previously, I used CEP to create panels and custom UI elements, but now:The "Extensions (Legacy)" menu is missing.CEP-based extensions no longer load.CSInterface is not recognized in scripts.There is no option to enable CEP in Preferences.I would like to know:What is the new recommended method for creating UI panels and extensions in Illustrator 2025?Is UXP now fully supported for Illustrator? If so, where can I find resources or documentation?Is there any workaround to enable CEP again in Illustrator 2025, or is it completely removed?Any guidance on how to proceed with Illustrator extension development in the latest version would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!Kind Regards,Meer

I have round about 25 variables linked in my file connected to different variants of a Design. When I'm loading the variable library with exactly the same columns but new cells or other content within the cells - i get this error: (translated from german:) The filter cannot be completed, because an unknown error occured. I dont use any filters in my design. Also the first loaded library is working without any issues - the content is changing according to the CSV data set. I tested with lesser variables - but got same error. Also i cannot find the error protocol to get more information on this specific error.Can someone help?Thank you

Hi allToday I am having trouble with Illustrator 3D. When in Inflate mode, Illustrator won't let me change Y and Z axis in Custom Rotation. It will chane along these axes if I choose Isometric left, right etc. It worked fine yesterday. Anyone else having the same issue? Could this be a RAM issue maybe (although I don't have any message popping up)? 

Just upgraded, running it on my Mac Studio on 14.6.1 Exporting to PNG generates the error. Different files generate the same error. Replacing the extensions folder per Perplexity didn't help. I'm not seeing it covered here recently. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

A image file in Ai was imported to Ae. But in Ae imported file is blurry. What is the reason for that?  

Cuando estoy trabajando un proyecto se activa la herramienta MANO (sin haberla activado) y no me deja cambiar a otra aplicacion. He salido del programa y vuelto a cargar pero el problema muchas veces persiste y en otras ocasiones se soluciona, pero es bastante molesto. Mi plataforma es MAC 

Why is the new smooth tool so terrible now!??!! I can't even use it without it distorting the entire object. Is there any way to fix this?
