Since I've updated to that version I am not able to open Illustrator without my entire PC getting slowed down at stupid levels.I have done what other posts have said on their answers, like setting the vram and stuff, and nothing works.I have always worked flawlessly on this app and now, when I most need it, it's failing, I, please, need help.64 GB RAM, 2TB Storage, 3080 Super 10GB, AMD Ryzen 5 8600G.Windows 11 Pro. Never had nor have now performance issues.

Hi there, my Illustrator 2022 ist very often creating an AIDBTemp folder (followed by a series of numbers) together with an .aid file with the same name when saving a new Illustrator file on my desktop.This happens without the programm crashing and is disturbing since it ends up with a desktop full of useless files/folders. Has anybody experienced the same problem? Thanks in advance

hey! I just dowloaded the lates version of AI today (28.7.1), just a couple of minutes ago, and if I try to open a map downloaded from OpenStreetMap and do anything with it, the program stops working, the screen becomes faded and I cannot use it at all.any ideas, what could be the problem?the laptop is very new, got it last week, and in the shop the people trying to fix it said that the problem is with the software, maybe some updates, but they are not sure. 

I installed the software in an English version that supports Hebrew - but there is no option to edit in RTL!

I took a week off from work and came back to an updated version of Illustrator that has added more unwanted AI-related features to the selection dropdowns, and completely removed one of my most commonly used functions.  Using the direct selection tool, I can no longer select elements within a group, right-click and choose 'Group', then right-click again and choose 'Isolate Selected Group' to further edit the selected elements.  I am now forced to double-click on the group of elements to enter isolation mode, repeatedly, until I reach the level at which the desired elements are located within the drawing.  A task that used to take all of three seconds to accomplish is no longer anywhere as simple as that, yet the number of AI-related generative features continues to climb.Not to be an ass, but I know how to draw, I neither want nor need AI-related features, especially when their addition disrupts my established workflow.  Please fix this, and while you're at it, plea

Problem I've experienced since the swatch menu has been updated in one of the recent Illustrator updates. When trying to select the specific fill swatch menu (the little drop down swatch menus that appear on the top left) the selected color will only apply to the fill if it is set to the primary swatch (the big fill/outline swatch that appears under tools which you can toggle using the "X" key). So if outline is set to the primary swatch and I select the specific fill swatch menu and select a color, the selected color will apply to the outline instead of the fill. Easier to understand once you see it in the screen recording. In the recording the specific fill swatch menu is the one experiencing this bug, however I believe I've experienced the same issue with the specific outline swatch menu at a different time. OS: Sequoia 15.1.1 (24B91)Current Illustrator version: 29.1 

I started having issues with illustrator around late November, when it automatically updated. Since then, my Illustrator crashes whenever I save my file. I have uninstalled the 2025 version and reinstalled the 2024 version, but that one is having the same problem now. I have reset my preferences, freed up space on my computer, and have run the Creative Cloud Diagnostics, but nothing has fixed this issue.Please let me know what else I can do to to resolve this.

Hi there,When I was using the 3D and Materials panel and went to the Lighting tab, I couldn't go further down to work on the Shadow options because there was no scroller there that would allow me to do so (it was supposed to be on the right side of the tab?). Hi - In Illustrator, I'm using an artistic texture (for example, stipple, ripple, etc) with the symbol sprayer.  Is it possible to change the color of the texture? All of the textures are currently black; I'd like to change it so that the texture is white or gray.  Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

Hola, como estan? Estoy con ilustraitor 2025 y no encuentro la libreria de pantones. Lei por un comentario que ya no estan incluidos. Como hago para usar pantones en los programas de ADOBE, es esencial para algunos proyectos. Tambien lei qu elos pantones  estan en versiones anteriores y que hay que instalar la V. 27.0 pero tampoco esta en mi icloud. Hi, today I turned on my iMac (I turned it off on Saturday as usual) I always use the default color profiles but today every file I open tells me to choose whether the embedded profile or the file where it will open, I've tried everything changing to the profile that I've always used but when I export to PDF with the same settings as always the color is different (using the same profile that I've always used) help 😞 I need to send a file to be printed in bulk and I'm very worried about the color issue

I have been experiencing crashes with Illustrator specifically when editing strokes and editing pattern brushes. I've listed below all the components of the problem: I'm using Illustrator 28.1, which at this time should be the most recent. I keep it updated, and It's happened with every version I've used for the last 2 years, though, so that seems like it's almost a moot point.I'm on a Mac Mini M1 with 16g RAM running Venutra 13.6.1, but again, it's happened independent of version.It happens at different times, in different areas of stroke editing, but almost without fail it happens when I am trying to make a pattern brush. It will happen MOST often, by a thin margin, when I am editing the inside corner image, but also happens slightly less often when editing the standard/outside corner option. The exact moment varies: It's crashed when clicking the drag down button, when scrolling through the options IN the drag down menu, and when clickout the selection in the drag down menu.I'v

I am working on a brand book in Adobe Illustrator, which consists of a large number of artboards (about 90), each sized 3480x2480 px in CMYK format. As a result, the file is quite large.When I try to save it in EPS format, I encounter the following error:"Can't save the illustration. The requested transformation would make some objects too large."It is very important for me to save the file specifically in EPS format as this is required by the client and for further work with the file. Could you please help me resolve this issue or suggest a workaround to bypass the limitations when saving in EPS?Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Can I find a script that converts a letter I type into a .png file stored in a folder? I'm working on a restaurant menu, and several restaurants need allergens listed. Instead of entering them manually as you see in the image, I want to use a script or any other method to add them by just pressing the letters or numbers. I would appreciate any help.

Hey folks!For some reason, Illustrator is reverting font within a line of text. If I click back into a line of text, instead of using the font that I set it to, it reverts the new text into the font I originally set before typing. Is there a hotkey or setting I accidentally activated? Continually going back to change fonts is quite the nuicance!I have attached a screenshot of what I mean. The original text was done in Gotham, I then changed it to Faraco Hand as it fit better for the theme. While going back to change capitalization, the box reverted back to Gotham, even though the font selection in the properties tab said Faraco Hand.Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I don't know why, but my effects panel has looked like this for months now and Adobe Support chat has been a hassle and couldn't find the solution. I'm guessing it's an issue with my computer? I'm kinda new into scripting and writing js for Illustrator. I work as a designer for a print shop, where we do all kinds of jobs and orders, some are from other designers or sellers (they send us their files for printing or production in general), and some others are for the general public (where we design ourselves). Our workflow is based on the creation of a "client preview", where we make a template that has some basic info, such as the client's name, the requested material, the requested polishings or finishes, deadline for delivery and quantity of the production to print. It also contains the design itself, with dimensions on it (width x height, in cm or meters). We send a screenshot of this preview to the client, they authorize it, and then we prepare our files for printing or production. Dear Community,I’m experiencing a critical issue with Adobe Illustrator on my Apple M3 Pro running macOS Sonoma. For the past two days, I’ve been unable to save files directly to my computer (not an external drive). I have 1.7 TB of available storage, so disk space is not the issue.When attempting to save even small files as .ai documents, the progress stalls at 98-99% before failing with an “unexpected error” message.
