Creative Cloud does not launch and even if on the rare occasions it launches it cannot see or load the cloud files, which I have on other devices I have to open a tab in my browser and download files manually.   2. With the Illustrator, it open and runs fine, it can see all my cloud files but it says I cannot access the files as the login was different, and I have a single login and account of adobe.   Please help me fix these issues.

I would love to have the Dynamic Text Box in Illustrator just like Adobe Express where the text fits to the bounds of the text area. I know there are some scripts that attempt it, but a native feature would be great.

I use both Illustrator on Windows and Mac machines. I have an issue when I create a graphic, like an Icon, and try to add it to a CC Library from my Mac it will not transfer the transparency information. It displays in the Library panel with a white background as if it were a JPEG. If I drag or place the graphic back from the library panel, into an artboard, it includes the white background. This is a new issue, possibly related to Mac's new operating system, Sequoia but I am not sure. When I go through the same process on my Windows machine it works as normal, with zero transparency issues.

Sometimes randomly when I use the zoom shortcut (Shift + Space and drag up down to zoom) it randomly changes into marquee zoom, and drags a rectangle and zooms into it. I don't want it, it's bloody annoying and disorientating. How do I turn it off? The search results online only show how to turn it ON, but I want to turn it OFF, is it possible?

Could you detect a problem here? The document swatches pallete contains spot color named PANTONE 1945 C, newetherless I get the error here. I have searched but cant find a forum that answes this specific question.If there is already a post, please post link. I am getting a new pc and need to move my adobe across to the new pc. I understand that if I load Illustrator to the new pc I will have access to my library My main concern/ question is that on my current PC there is about 170gb of locally stored library files.The current PC needs to be wiped clean to be used for a different purpose. If the locally library files are deleted on the current pc, will this effect my cloud stored files? Or when I load Adobe to my new PC, will all the library files just be downloaded automatically to the new pc locally and not effect the library at all? I cannot afford to loose files in my library during the move over to the new pc Any guidance would be greatly apprciatedThank you

Hello all - the latest update to Illustrator v 28.7.1 has made black to appear as a rich black when Overprint Preview is turned on. Because of this, I can't see if the black is overprinting and makes trapping a lot more difficult. It's weird because if I change the black to 99%, it acts as normal and shows the trap/overprint - screen shots are attached. I am running Mac OS 14.6.1 on an Apple M3 Pro Chip - MacBook Pro - 14" - 2023 Nov. 2023 model. All the normal things were tried and nothing is fixing it (Apperance of Black, Edit - Color Settings). Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi everyone, I am having an issue printing with GP-2000 (MacOS Monterey 12.7.6; Canon’s driver version 26.10.0.0) and haven’t been able to figure out why my vector graphics come out pixelated — until now, after I saw that media width and height gets automatically set to 612 px by 792 px for an 8.5x11 in document, resulting in low 72 ppi resolution. Even when I create a large file in Illustrator with an initial size of 6120x7920 px and 300 ppi, the document size displays 6120x7920 px, but media size stays at 612x792 px in the Print dialog box. Media width and height are greyed out (I am unable to adjust them). Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? I would highly appreciate your help and suggestions! Thank you.

hi,  My illustrator won't allow me to run a generative shape despite being connected to the internet.    I have turned on and off the Windows Defenders Firewall and made sure it Adobe is allowed to run on my machine. Please help. 

I'm trying to use the spacebar to refine an anchor point. When I hold down the anchor point and click on the space bar, nothing happens other than moving the entire artboard. I am using the pen for the Microsoft Surface Pro. Am I doing this incorrectly? Can you also please explain the difference between using Alt and Ctrl with the pen tool? And how do you deselect the pen tool?  Thank you.

I was drawing, clipping and adjusting my artwork when suddenly a black box appeard for a few seconds, and when i zoomed out all artwork disappeared. When marked in the layers channel, i'm able to se that everything is there, but i cannot really see it. then, after zooming a bit in i can see everything, but when trying to start edit, i'm unable to do any changes other than delete. when trying to save the document, an unknown error occurs, wanting me to save the document to contact support - but the problem is that im unable to save... i managed to export as a png, but first try non of the lines were visible. second try i removed visibility on all other layers than the painting lines, and then the lines were visible, but the black box were too (see attached image). Im really scared to loose all my artwork and hope to get some help from you guys.

hi everyone! I need some help with the mouse wheel zoom in illustrator. I tried working on my mew iMac using the mouse wheel but it's not working either when I use the option key or when I enable the 'zoom with mouse wheel' option on preferances. I also tried unclicking the gpu option, it didn't work either. My zoom on photoshop works as it should. Has this happened to anyone before and has a solution? 

I've worked mostly in Photoshop and it's been so long since I've used Illustrator I can't remember how to do it. I just want to copy something but I'm stuck. Help.

In the examples that I saw, the object selection was done like this: var textFrame = doc.textFrames.add(); ... textFrame.selected = true; // or like this // textFrame.name = "obj1"; // doc.activeLayer.pageItems.getByName("obj1").selected = true; However, this doesn't work - the object on the artboard is not selected. What kind of selection are we talking about in these examples? Or how is it done?

Since 28.7.1 update it just keep crushing every 10 minutes. I have already checked the configuration of the virtual memory disks, updated drivers and windows. It happens with any file, regardless of size or content. It just stops and does not indicate any error code. My working day was ruined, extremely stressful. I find it unbelievable to pay so much for such a bad support.   Note: Renamed by Mod

I've checked the eyedropper tools settings and it is set as follows:  I'm trying to select only a portion of my text to change as a highlight color, not the entire text box. I can only select the entire text box in order to change the color. Something similar is also happenning with objects. I can't change the color unless I convert it into a compound object. This is what happens when I try selecting individual text in my live text box tool. 

Hi I have bought this program to create SVG files for a laser cutter I have. It is just a hobby and time I have to do this is limited. I really struggle with the concept of AI (long term user of photoshop). I am trying to create a wooden template of a gingerbread house for my daughter and I to make from clay. I thought I could use this program to create a nice 'square' item of exact measurements but I am losing alot of time getting nowhere! If all else is lost I will have to try and draw it to scale and take a photo of it and trace it with a free hand path- but this may not be perfectly square and I feel this program should help me do it straight away on the screen accurately? Can you draw a line of a chosen length? I can drag but it rarely gets the exact measurement I want.Can I draw a shape of a chosen size and drag it to the correct position- ie a window If anyone can suggest an appropriate tutorial this would be great, I've watched many but I am still stuck. I h

Every time I print my design there are white edges no matter what format I save it to. I've tried using the bleed, I've tried making the colour elements bigger to extend into the bleed area so that I don’t lose any of the design when I print, I’ve made sure the dimensions are equal numbers, I’ve tried making the bleed bigger and smaller, I’ve selected trim and bleed when exporting. Nothing works! I'm tearing my hair out! Whether in Illustrator, or saved on my laptop, the design looks like it fills the page, but as soon as I print or go into print preview the white edges are there. Please help!

I'm creating some vinyl graphics for a wall - basically a collage of a load of tour posters. There are 72 in all, totalling 2.5GB. They're all linked rather than embedded.When opening or saving, Illustrator locks up for about 4-5 minutes. Autosaving locks it up for a minute or so. Why is this? The specs of the machine are:Illustrator CC 2019Windows 10 ver 1803 build 17134.345 (64-bit)Intel i7-6700K @ 4GHz (4C 8T)64GB RAM2x Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSDs (I'm using two swap files, one on each of these, and I'm working off the D drive here rather than the network)GeForce GTX 980 GPUAfter Effects happily uses 40+GB of memory and sails along without a hiccup. But Illo doesn't seem to use more than a few GB - in fact it's often using less than Firefox. Hi, I've just started using macbook instead of windows. On PC I've added some fonts in adobe fonts and I was using them without any problems. I've intalled ai on my macbook and fonts doesn't work. They are also added to my adobe fonts and I can search them in illustrator but they don't work. What can I do in this situation. Are there fonts on windows devices that don't match with OS devices?
