I created an image for sublimation using a specific pattern swatch on illustrator. It required printing more than 1 component, so to save paper I added the other component to a different artboard on the same project using the same pattern swatch as the other component, but after I printed them out the second component (artboard 2) came out a noticeably darker shade than the first component (artboard 1). This has happened multiple times and I can't figure out why but is there a chance that the artbords are printing in different formats? Like one is printing in CMYK and the other is printing in RGB or vice versa, by just adding anither artboard? I'm printing using an Epson F570

Hello, after massive GPU perforamce issues with Illustartor where the program basically did not recognize my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphic card which affected simple 3D rendering tasks, I kind of found a workaround. Now I'm facing memory issues while 3D inflating designs, that shouldn't be that complex. For the record I have 64GB RAM on my laptop.    I have the feeling Illustrator wasn't developed to properly utilize or recognize memory and graphic cards on PC. Can someone please help with this memory issue? Thanks

I edit CAD files in Illustrator that are composed of various colored lines. Some of the colors I want to delete altogether (e.g. all green lines). Do do this, I select a green line then go to Select>Same>Stroke Color. Then all lines of that color are selected and I can either make them black or delete them all.Recently when I try this, as soon as I move the cursor after selecting a line, the Appearance section in my Properties window disappears. Opening the Appearance window separately is no help. The same happens when I try this procedure to change the weight of all lines (Select>Same>Stroke Weight). Any suggestions?

We are event organizers and to fund the event we create signage both in print and digital formats to promote our sponsors during the event. Signage can come in many different sizes for many different uses and can be a singular sponsor or be a logo wall anywhere up to 100+ sponsor logos. It could also be included in a logo loop for a video. During the 6-months of planning for our events we regularly Add, Remove, or Change around sponsor levels of a company. Showcasing a sponsor logo is ultimately very important and missing one is a terrible occurance. The problem occurs when there is an update of a sponsor and needing to make that logo change across the many different files we have in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects which are our primary platforms for creation. Having to make adjustments to every single file to add one logo can be time consuming. How can we work more effectiantly by updating one document and linking the works to that one file.

En la versión anterior (2024) me funcionaba perfecto, así que estoy seguro de que este problema lo ocacionó la actualización del programa. Puedo acceder a estos archivos a través de Archivo/Abrir archivos recientes; pero quiero recuperar el método de abrirlos a través de la pantalla de inicio, me es más cómodo. ¿Hay alguna solución?Desde ya, muchas gracias por leer 🙂

In previous versions of Illustrator, once I selected a different artboard and hit Paste in Place it would paste it into an identical X/Y location of that artboard. Now, it pastes it back to the artboard from which it was originally copied. I don't know why the team would choose to reduce the software like this. If I wanted to paste in place on the original artboard, I would have just selected the original artboard. What are my workaround options? I mass produce various versions of the same artwork for marketing purposes and this is a huge step back for my workflow.

Hello guys, I want to select multiple scattered objects, and make a seamless pattern out of these objects.I'm looking for a technique that allows me to shuffle the placement of these objects in a random way,  but still come out with a perfect repeat. Then adjust the spacing, rotation and so on. What tool or technique can someone suggest me?  Thanks in advance, I'll apreciate any help!

Hello, I have been using Adobe Illustrator for some time and had no problems in writing in Polish language using Proxima Nova fonts (and others).Today suddenly, at some point it stopped being possible:when I try to type "ł" (so using alt+l) - the window with layer options is showing up.when I try to type "ą" - program is highlighting all text. Please note that it was not an issue before! Also, I still can use Polish characters in inDesign and other programs.I tried restarting, re-installing, changed font setting to Polish, but nothing worked. Could you please support me here? Any ideas how can I come back to previous settings?

Hi, 🙂 My AI used to print to PDF just fine. Sudddenly, i get a "PPD not specified - Default PPD will be used" error message. When I try to print, it doesn't give me a "Save As" option anymore. I've tried the below options and got nowhere:changing the PPD Settings but it won't let me, it sticks to default - changed the defaults too.Uninstalling and Reinstalling my AI and the Adobe PDF ConverterMicrosoft Print to PDF but it creates random lines/shapes on the document and artwork. changing the presetsediting the converter destination I've asked my colleague to print from their computer but the document wouldn't print. I've tried with previous versions of documents, and still nothing. I have exhausted all options I can think of and in desperate need of help to fix this.  Please help :(. Thank you 🙂 

I have experimented with the type on path function, but I cannot figure this out.I want to put numbers 00 to 49 around a circle, and all numbers should follow the circle vertically. It's hard to explain, so I've made an example for number 01 to 04:Any idea how to accomplish this? 🤔 🤔

 I want to create a brush that symolises a curtain. But unfortunaltly it adds the line not on top of each other, but right next to each otehr. I already tried to make it an outline, but that diid not help. Any tips?

Tous les logiciels peuvent être installés en version desktop, sauf Illustrator, qui ne propose que l'installation de l'application pour tablette et ne permet pas l'installation de la version pour ordinateur. Je n'arrive pas à identifier le problème ni à le corriger. Si vous avez une piste, je suis preneur. Bien à vous,   ps : ci-joint un screen de leur logiciel creative cloud  

Hi All.Adobe has informed me that "The OS on this computer is incompatible with the Illustrator desktop app. Update your OS to install Illustrator, or open this link on a compatible computer."I'm using a Mac mini 2023 with an Apple M2 chip, 8 GB Memory, and the latest OS software - OS Sequola Ver 15.0.1.Is anyone else having this issue? Any solutions?

After I have finished with a file and I close the file, I cannot Move or Delete that file since the latest update.I'm receiving a"This action can't be completed because the file is open in Illustrator"message.This also happens if I open a file and close immediately without making any changes....My only work around is closing the whole application, move or delete the file, then reopen the application.This is very frustrating and time consuming as I deal with a few hundred files/day.Before the latest update, I could close the file (leaving the main application open" and do what i like with the files, Move/Delete etc Has anyone else come across this ? or know how I can get this fixed ? Any help would be massively appreciated.....

How to select text in script by "Type tool"? On the picture the first variant is with the selected = true property applied, and the second variant - all characters are selected with the Type tool (this is what you need to do in the script).p.s.  a Text Frame 🙂

Hi, I'm looking for a way to quickly locate and use my company's brand fonts. 5 are Adobe fonts, and 6 were purchased through my organization.  I thought favoriting them in Adobe Fonts would do the trick but even with them favorited online, they are not favorited in llustrator...(?) Plus that is of no help when it comes to the 6 installed fonts. Recent fonts is working ok, but if you don't use a font for a while it falls off, and you may forget about it until you have to dig for it again.  Can someone please let me know how to keep brand fonts at the top of the type list, or at the least filter them.
