Hello. Have tried to resolve this with Adbobe support who were useless and insisteed on wanting remote access to my work laptop. In Illustrator 2022 - if I select a rectangle that is clipping a photograph, the dimesnions in the info panel are incorrect and show the dimesnions of the placed photograph, not the bounding box. The dimensions in the 'properties' panel are correct.  Have tried resetting the preferences and restarting my machine, as per adobe support suggestions - but the issue is still there. How can I get these two dimensions to be consistent.  Thanks.  

I'm trying to upload this file on certain (Shutter) website, but it keeps saying that there is a Raster Fx on the file, but I cannot find it, Link does not show anything, neither Appearance. Can anybody help me?

I generated a link that I want to share with colleagues who don't have Adobe accounts. All of them were asked to sign in!  But the help page says:Review the documentIf you are a stakeholder, you can add comments to the link shared with you on any device. For a public link, you don't need an Adobe ID to add comments. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there,I have an issue with the showing of edges in Illustrator CC 2018, latest version. I recently did a clean windows installation, and after that the following "error" occurred; the edges of my elements won't show, no matter what I try. I've googled a lot, and searched around for a solution. The solutions that I came across did not do the trick. These are the things I've already tried:• Obviously try the option "hide or show edges".• Update my GPU drivers, they are up to date.• Toggle between GPU and CPU preview.• Renamed my preferences folder, with no effect to the problem.• Checked the option "show Anchor points with selection and shapebuilder tool", wich is turned on.I think it's a problem because of the clean windows install, after wich I did re-install the Adobe apps on a faster harddrive. I can't figure out the problem any further by myself, your help of suggestions will be much appreciated !My hardware on wich I'm running the software:Intel i716 gb RAMNvidia GT1070 8GBWindo

Let´s say I make a file with 3 artboards and save as a PDF. If I open the file in Acrobat Pro and split the file into 3 separate artboards (pages), these files look as desired in Acrobat Pro (1 page/file). But if I open any of these one page documents in Illustrator, all 3 artboards are still there. How do I prevent the deleted pages from showing in Illustrator after the file is split in Acrobat?

Hi designers,I'm currently working on event collateral in both English and Spanish using Adobe Illustrator. I'm encountering an issue with the Glyphs window: when I open it to access accent characters, it doesn't fully load. I can't see any of the characters, and it won't allow me to insert them into my textbox.I'm using Adobe Illustrator Beta 2023 on a MacBook Pro M2. Despite trying to resolve this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator, I haven't been able to find a solution. (See attached image for reference) Does anyone have a solution or suggestion to help me address this problem? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I'm trying to load an SVG file in Illustrator, but I get an error dialog that "The followimg items could not be imported properly" and in the box below "Clipping will be lost on roundtrip to Tiny". Okay, fine, I can deal with whatever that means. Font issues, no big deal. The problem is that the AI interface now refuses to respond. I click on the "OK" button in the dialog, and nothing happens. I cmnd-Q to quit the app, and nothing happens. So now it's a Force Quit and don't try to open that file (or any other SVG?) again? Advice appreciated.

As it was possible to gain access to the indesign beta on Snapdragon X Chips (Copilot + PCs) via the support, I would like to know if it is possible to also get access to the Illustrator Beta as well.

Trying to make a large document for blueprint/graph printing. Document is set to 300 ppi at (7,200px x 20,100px), which should be = to (24" x 67") but adobe seems to be keeping the ratio of 72 ppi for sizing even though i've set the document to 300ppi making the document = (100" x 279.17") total what am I missing?

I have element in library, for example rectangle filled with color, then I drop this rectangle to the illustrator work zone, then I combining this element with other vector element (not from library), and drag and drop that new element to the library. So, now I have 2 elements in library, one is rectangle filled with color, (library element 1) and icon ((library element 2) which is included (library element 1) .When I am updating element 1, element 2 is not updating automatically, I need to open it and press save.  If I have 100 icons based on that rectangle filled with color (element 1) how to update them automaticaly wihtout oppening one by one? Logically if I update element 1, so all other elemtns inlcuded that element 1 must be updated as well.

How do I save as, or export as a Legacy CC file from an illustrator 2024 version? I need to open an Illustrator 2024 file in a much much earlier version.  I see no version box in save as, or export as. If I save as a pdf file I will lose any swatches created in the swatch pallettes.

Says my system needs to be updated. is there a direct download elsewhere other than the adobe site? i really need to finish my project on time.

I've watched tutorials on YT on this but still get the results shown here. They are not Compound Paths and I've tried each stroke Grouped and Ungrouped. Why is there not a smooth transition using Specified Steps? I also can't find any stray or duplicated points.

Hi everyoneDoes anybody know how to create this effect, or how is it called? I assume it's a halftone effect, but it seems the creator used a mesh to distort the letter. Or maybe not?Preferably if it can be done in Illustrator. Thanks a lot!  

I got a new computer and want to copy my custom actions to a new computer. How can I do this? There doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. What am I missing?

Hey everyone,I'm currently living and working in the UAE, and I use both Arabic and English in my daily tasks. However, I mostly work in English, so I prefer to have my default type tool settings set to English in Adobe Illustrator 2022. The problem is that the default is set to Arabic, and I have to manually switch it to English every time I use the text tool—it's super annoying!Does anyone know how I can set English as the default language for the type tool in Illustrator 2022? Hi all,I am making a roll-up banner with a black background and a picture in it. The idea is to fade from the black background to the picture, and then back to black again. I overlaid the picture with a rectangle at both top edge and bottom edge of the picture. Both rectangles have a gradient that fades from 0% transparency (black) to 100% transparency (pure image). This looks great in Illustrator, but the exported PDF clearly shows 'hard' top and bottom edges of the picture. See screenshots of Illustrator and exported PDF attached. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Hi allWhen I create guidelines in multible artboards of same size - in one column - the vertical guides show on all artboards. How can I make horizontal guidelines that show up on all artbords in similar manner? 

I can't copy and paste text from illustrator to any other program. When I select some text on AI and then copy it in the, for example, Whatsapp App or on my NotePad app on my MacBook the text copies as an image with white background. This didn't happen before the last update.¿Any thoughts?Thanks 🙂
