Hi We are trying to get all of our team to use the CSF file to manage color settings to make them all consistant. We have created a CSF file, but would like a way to automatically set Illustartor to use the file, without the need to get the user to set it.Ideally would like it to be set on startup, if CSF file exists. Thanks

Is it possible to have a path that links to images online?Everything works well when the images are on my system, but I would like to set it up so it can use images from Google Drive or even CC.Is this even possible?

Hi, I just saved my file and decided to change my Illustrator file name in the folder (Windows user). When I tried to open it again after a couple of hours, it got stuck on a black screen, and Illustrator stopped working. Can anyone help me?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to recolor an artwork using colors from a raster image. According to the latest official Adobe Help you can recolor from an image. My issue is, once I've clicked the 'Color Theme Picker' button in the Recolor window, my mouse cursor should become an eyedropper, however, mine doesn't. Does anyone know what's wrong?I've tried to eyedrop from the photo when it was embedded, when it was unembedded, made it specifically sRGB, made it FOGRA27, and also made some vector boxes with different colors to see if the image is the issue—nothing helps, my cursor just doesn't turn into the eyedropper tool. I've restarted my computer and I've restarted Illustrator. Attached is a screenshot where you can see that the 'Color Theme Picker' button is activated, but the cursor over the image is not what it's supposed to be (and yeah, my vector graphic on the left is selected, just doesn't show up in this screenshot). I'm running Illustrator 29.6.1, on MacOS 14.7.6

Hi,I am just shocked and annoyed.I pay am Adobe membership of CHF 65.95, and now - suddenly (out fo nowhere!) - I can't open my Illustrator app anymore on my 2017 Macbook Pro, running on High Sierra (10.13.6).I checked with ChatGPT, and apparently it's highly probable that Adobe just deactivated older licenses.So here's what I understand.I pay a membership (and quite an expensive one), and now I can't even use the applicaitons I pay for !!!It worked yesterday, and now today, I can't use it anymore !What is this?Is there a workaround ?Or is Adobe forcing users to update their Macs to more recent OS ? What if I enjoyed High Sierra? and don't want to upgrade my Mac.I am getting so tired of companies forcing us to always update our devices / apps, etc... and then suddenly you have to buy a new Mac, a new Phone, download a newer version of an App, etc etc etc....this is highly annoying !If anyone has an idea on how to solve this, and how i can simply open and use Adobe illustrator

Please enable the Pen Angle Detection and Barrel Roll feature in Illustrator iPad. Thank youCurrently, iPad and the new 2024 Pen have enabled pen rotation, but Illustrator's Brush Tool does not have this setting. This is a very good feature for users. Please enable this.

Since the Illustrator 2025 upate a few weeks ago, colors are displayed incorrectly unless I switch to "View on CPU". I have a M1 Ultra Mac Studio running macOS 15.1. The 29.0.1 update that came out on Monday didn't fix the issue. Below you can see the difference in colors between the GPU and CPU. The first image is the GPU and the second is viewing on CPU. This was not an issue in Illustrator 2024.   

I created an illustration in Illustrator with the dimensions 240 mm x 58 mm. However, when I try to print it, the sizes don't match. How can I ensure that the dimensions are exported exactly in centimeters?

Hello, this is the scenario: lets say i created 8 ai files andkept it as stock (e.g file 1 dining table with chair, file 2 chandelier, file 3 window with curtain,... and on) now i want to create a dinning room in 1 illustrator file. which will have all the other ai files (file 1 dining table with chair, file 2 chandelier, file 3 window with curtain,... and on) i tried to drag the ai file directly from explorer, but it places it as image.(failed,I NEED ALL THE DRAWINGS IN VECTOR FORMAT WITH ITS LAYERS!)SO NOW I HAVE TO DO THE LENTHY PROCESS OF COPY PASTING i.e.i open window ai file and copy everything (all the layers: window frame, window pane, curtain left, curtain right, sky) I do same with other files and paste it on my new dining room file and rearrange resize them.It takes hours to do this and if file size is big, illustrator hangs slows down.Is there an easier and faster way? Please respond urgent 

Hello everyone,I was wondering if you could help me with a ‘Libraries’ panel issue in the Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Context:I work in a team of designers. We have noticed that some members of the team are affected by this issue whilst others in the team are not. We are all on the same Creative Cloud subscription type and are using computers of similar models and specs. We are Windows users. The issue began approximately around Feb. 18, 2025. The issue:We have noticed this libraries panel issue through our use of Adobe Illustrator. The issue presents itself in two ways: 1) When affected users open a library, a fraction of the thumbnails will load instantly while the majority of the library has blank thumbnails with a loading icon (these load either very slowly or not at all). Using the search bar to locate assets is not fully functional at this time. 2) Sometimes the whole libraries panel will freeze, and Illustrator has to be restarted to resolve the issue. Our aim

I made the shape but when I want to drag it into the brush panel to make it a brush pattern, this message shows: "the selected illustration contains anelement that can't be used to make a brush pattern".What am I doing wrong here? Hi,I'm working in Illustrator v 29.6.1 and all my linked images are showing up as blank (just white boxes), even though the links seem intact and the file paths haven’t changed. The artwork is selectable and the bounding boxes are there when I drag my mouse over, but the images themselves don’t display.I' ve tried  (Cmd+Y), Tried toggling GPU/CPU previews. Images are not embedded, just linked

When changing letters from lowercase to uppercase in greek remains the accent when you are panctuating. In previous version when you were changing, the accent was disappearing. Now you have to change every single letter

Show center mark, show cross hairs and Video Safe frame shortcut or better access.  Now to do it I have to go into artboard options and toggle them on or off over there. Could Adobe add this feature into regular properties panel or more accessible place?

All the masked objects show a white rectangle glitch since the last Illustrator update. If I switch to "view using CPU" it displays normally, so I guess it could be a GPU problem?

Why there is white tiny outline around object? Do you know? I would like to do something to get rid of this. I used multiply in opacity and then blend option, when there in normal opacity there aren't these white circles around objects

Not sure if this is a AI problem. When sending files to an Epilog CO2 laser engraver encountering randomness on whether the entire image will print. This requires multiple times to re-send the files. When sending in Photoshop this is not a problem. As an example today when printing a 24X12 inch image and viewing in Epilog Job Manager only 17 X 11 was showing in Epilog Job Manager preview window. The occurence is so frequent the user has to go back and double check and often delete the file and re-send.  Thanks

Since the latest Illustrator update, I've encountered a problem: the program is changing to incorrect fonts without any alert. Even though the correct fonts are installed on my system, I'm getting no notification when this unexpected substitution happens (especially with Arabic fonts)

I am having an issues with layers being maintained when exported to dxf from Illustrator.I always have 2 layers, Layer 1 has 5 6mm black filled (no stoke) dots, Layer 2 has Lines and sometimes circles (no fill only stroke).Exporting to dxf file, preserve appearence. When the dxf is opened it is read as 3 layers, lines/circles on one layer and the 6mm filled dots split between 2 layers.I have tried exporting different ways and recreating the dots and I am not sure what to do next.This issues does not alway happen, all files are created the same and have been exported the same.Not sure if it is the cad program or Illustrator.
